석류 껍질 분말을 첨가한 찐빵의 품질특성 (Quality Characteristics of Steamed Bread Containing Pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) Peel Powder)

  • Purpose: Pomegranate has been reported to exhibit medical properties such as antimicrobial, antimutagenic, anticancer, and anti-inflammatory effects. Especially the pomegranate peel as a by-product of the juice industry possesses more polyphenols with an antioxidant effect than the pomegranate flesh does. This study aimed to investigate the effect of the pomegranate peel on the quality characteristics of steamed bread. Methods: Steamed bread containing pomegranate peel was prepared with 0%, 1%, 3%, 5%, and 7% replacements of wheat flour with pomegranate peel powder, respectively. Results: The pH of dough significantly decreased from 5.66 to 4.42 with the amounts of pomegranate peel powder rising. After a 1st fermentation, the pH of all groups decreased. With an increase of the pomegranate peel powder level, the fermentation tension decreased from 42.83 mL to 29.03 mL. In addition, the volume, the specific volume, and moisture decreased as the pomegranate peel powder content level heightened. For color, steamed bread added with 7% pomegranate peel powder displayed low lightness but high redness and yellowness. In texture analysis, hardness and chewiness of the steamed bread rose as the pomegranate peel powder content increased, while the springiness and cohesiveness declined. Both total polyphenol and DPPH radical scavenging activity significantly increased with growing levels of pomegranate peel powder. In a sensory evaluation, the group with 1% pomegranate peel powder added showed the highest sensory preference scores for color, flavor, chewiness, taste, and overall acceptability. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that steamed bread prepared with the addition of 1% pomegranate peel powder is the most optimal product for appropriate quality characteristics.

병원서비스별 원가분석모형의 개발과 적용 (Development of a Hospital Service-based Costing System and Its Application)

  • The managerial environment of hospitals in Korea characterized by low levels of medical insurance fees is worsening by increasing government regulations as to the utilization of medical services, rising costs of labor, material, and medical equipments, growing patient expectations concerning the quality of services, and escalating competitions among large hospitals in the market. Hospitals should seek for their survival strategies in this harsh environment and they should have information about costs of their products in doing so. However, it has not been available due to the complexity of the production process of hospital services. The objectives of this study were to develop a service-based cost accounting model and to apply the developed model to a study hospital to obtain cost information of hospital services. A model commonly used for the job-order product cost accounting in the manufacturing industry was modified for the use in hospitals in Korea. Actual costs, instead of standard costs, incurred to produce a unit of services during a given period of time were estimated in the model. Data required to implement the model included financial information, statistics for the allocation of supportive cost center costs to final cost centers, statistics for the allocation of final cost center costs to services, and the volume of each services charged to patients during a study period. The model was executed using data of a university teaching hospital located in Seoul for the fiscal year 1992. Data for financial information, allocation statistics fo supportive service costs, and the volume of services, most of them in electronic form, were available to the study. Data for allocation statistics of final cost center costs were collected in the study. There were 15 types of evaluation and management service, 2, 923 types of technical service, and 2, 608 types of drug and material service charged to patients in the study hospital during the fiscal year 1992. Labor costs of each of seven types of pesonnel, material costs of 611 types of drugs and materials, and depreciation costs of 212 types of medical equipments, miscellaneous costs, and indirect costs incurred in producing a unit of each services were estimated. Medical insurance fees for basic services such as evaluation and management of inpatients and outpatients, injection, and filling prescriptions, and for operating procedures were found to be set lower than costs. Infrequent services which use expensive medical equipments showed negative revenuse as well. On the other hand, fees for services not covered by the insurance such as CT, MRI and Sonogram, and for laboratory tests were higher than costs. This study has a significance in making it possible for a hospital to obtain cost information for all types of services which produced income based on all types of expenses incurred during a given period of time. This information can assist the management of a hospital in finding an effective cost reduction strategy, an efficient service-mix strategy under a given fee structure, and an optimum strategy for within-hospital resource allocations.

  • This study perceived that there are limits to prompt and accurate monitoring when an accident occurs and the correct information of egg production stage, such as the date of spawning, cleaning, and refrigerating cannot be identified, since eggshell codes using barcode only show numbers identifying a city and province and the name of producers. To fix this problem, this study partially suggested the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology and IoT-based Connected System. The proposed system in this study shares data with related agencies as the system of agricultural and livestock product information runs as the main server, and the database information of the proposed system is provided by farmhouses, distributors, and sellers. Through various media such as a webpage or mobile application built to provide the relevant information, customers can search and obtain information about agricultural and livestock products they want. Since the information on an entire process is open to the public, information ranging from simple to clear, additional ones such as hazardous elements can be viewed.

  • These days, citizens have a lot of ways to get access to IT. In the past, they tended to neglect IT that was thought to be difficult. But, currently, everyone can manufacture and get access not only software but also hardware when he has an idea. Arduino is used. Rinnai had recently released new product named Smart Sensor Range. Safe consumer who gave priority to the safety made new trend gave attention to fire prevention and smart sensor range. The ones who buy gas range prefer safety to economic advantage and/or fire power. The safety system does not always prevent fire accident. This study makes design and produces alarm that perceives temperature of pot when boiling. Not only temperature sensor but also alarm sensor was used to make alarm of boiling water and to give convenient living life. The arduino can be used at practical life to make products for various kinds of people. The invention can give convenience to housewives at kitchen, children and many persons making use of gas range. Another function can be added to develop. This arduino can develop a lot of products by using the study and other designs.

  • Fermented materials have been used for long time around the world and have been researched according to the excellent effect in the part of medical and food industry. However, when such materials are applied on skin, because of the skin barrier, the most effective ingredients are poorly absorbed. The absorption of the skin is exceedingly limited and the method of increasing skin absorption needs special procedures. The micro-needle therapy is a method used to improve the absorption of drug (solution) in the skin which is called "natural skin rejuvenation therapy". This therapy uses micro-needle which is equipped with very thin, delicate needles smaller than a 0.07 mm thick hair. During this therapy, the micro-needle makes small holes and helps absorb the solution into the skin. This is a very excellent therapy in skin absorption. It can be used in wide regions of the skin without any side effects and no recovery time. In 2007, the micro-needle is permitted to personal care. However, the solutions have not yet been developed professionally, and such skill is needed.

  • This study is to identify the present condition and level of human resource administration in domestic profit and non-profit organizations, and to investigate on the relation between human resource management and management performance in enterprise. This study is to make items related to the human resource management of American Malcolm Baldrige Award's level and management performance researching questions, investigates seven patterns of organs surveyed positively. The results are as follows: Firstly, the profit organs like manufacturing companies shows more positive than non-profit in comparison with human resource management of each organs. And a local government and public enterprise which is non-profit show to recognize human resource management is insufficient on th whole. Secondly, perception level of a medical institution, educational institution and service industry about aromaticity of human resource management by global standard shows to be positive, but the local government negative. Thirdly, the profit organ in the recognition of human resource management about details practice too, shows to be positive, while non-profit negative. Fourth, the result which compares and analyzes management performance between the similar industry overall show to recognize positive, but public enterprise negative about product, service performance and human resource management. Fifthly, the details practice of human resource administration shows to influence meaningly to all management performance. Therefore, all organizations will positively confront human resource management, make the circumstance of organization through systematic program, and promote the management performance of the organization.

리조트 기업의 조직문화에 대한 기호학적 분석 : 그레마스 행위소 모형 적용 (Semiotic approach to Resort's Organizational Culture : Applying Greimas Actant Model)

  • 본 연구는 리조트 조직의 저변에 잠재해 있으며 리조트 직원들에 의해 공유되어야 하는 조직문화를 발견하는데 목적이 있다. 최근 힐링에 대한 욕구와 지역사회의 라이프스타일 체험을 강조하는 추세에 주목해 볼 때 이는 리조트가 원래 탄생 시기부터 가지고 있었던 고유의 역할이었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 최근 리조트가 호텔 산업과 경계가 모호해지고 테마파크를 닮은 복합리조트로 변화하는 등 정체성이 흔들리고 있음을 부인할 수 없다. 리조트의 조직문화를 찾아내기 위해 16명의 리조트 전문가들을 대상으로 그레마스 행위소 모형을 기초로 제작된 심층인터뷰를 진행하였는데 3박4일간의 리조트 체험을 통해서 응답내용의 충실성을 유도하였다. 모형이 가지고 있는 6개의 행위소를 리조트를 구성하는 제반 요소와 합치시키고 응답자로 하여금 자유롭게 은유적으로 표현하도록 하였다. 응답자들은 발신자, 수신자, 주체, 객체, 보조자, 반대자를 각각 리조트, 리조트 방문객, 리조트기업, 리조트상품서비스, 리조트지원집단, 리조트방해집단에 대응시킨 결과 순서대로 심신치유, 환자, 치유사, 치유약, 치유도우미, 돌팔이약장수로 은유하였다. 은유한 내용은 모형에 따라 신화(이야기)로 구성하였으며 더 나가 조직문화에 주는 시사점으로 연결하였다. 연구의 이론적 실무적 시사점 및 한계점은 논문 말미에 포함시켰다.

한국 의약품부작용보고원시자료를 활용한 알파차단제의 이상사례 실마리정보 비교 분석 (Signal Detection of Alpha-adrenoceptor Antagonist using the KIDS-KAERS database (KIDS-KD))

  • Background: Using KIDS-KAERS database (KIDS-KD) from 2016 to 2020, the aim is to investigate signals of adverse events of alpha-adrenoceptor antagonists and to present adverse events that are not included in the precautions for use when marketing approval. Methods: This study was conducted by disproportionality analysis. Data mining analysis was performed to detect signals of alpha-adrenoceptor antagonists, such as terazosin, doxazosin, alfuzosin, silodosin, and tamsulosin. The signal was defined by three criteria as proportional reporting ratio (PRR), reporting odds ratio (ROR), and information component (IC). Detected signals were compared with product labeling and the European Medicines Agency-Important Medical Events list. Results: Out of the total number of 408,077 reports for adverse events, 6,750 cases were reported as adverse events of alpha-adrenoceptor antagonists. Dizziness, mouth dryness, hypotension postural, and oedema peripheral are identified as common adverse events of five alpha-adrenoceptor antagonists and are typically listed on drug labels. However, new signals were detected for pneumonia, chronic obstructive airway disease, eye diseases such as glaucoma and cataracts, fracture, and ileus of tamsulosin that were not previously listed on the drug labels in Korea. Conclusions: This study identified signals related to adverse drug reactions of alpha-adrenoceptor antagonists and presented serious adverse events, suggesting new adverse reactions to be aware of when using alpha-adrenoceptor antagonists.

홀소자를 이용한 손목착용 맥진기의 혈압추정 알고리즘 (Estimated Blood Pressure Algorithm of Wrist Wearable Pulsimeter Using by Hall Device)

  • 비가압 상태에서 혈압 및 맥박을 정확하게 측정한 값를 얻기 위하여 안정시 휴대성과 소형화가 가능한 자성 홀소자를 이용한 손목 착용형 맥진기의 시제품을 개발하였다. 본 시제품을 이용하여 맥진파를 분석한 13명의 임상시험 데이터로 상관인자를 정하여 혈압추정 알고리즘의 회귀식을 구하였다. 5초간 비가압 맥진기로 맥진파를 수집한 혈압추정값과 전자혈압계나 수은혈압계로 측정한 혈압값을 비교하였다. 비가압 맥진기로 추정한 최고혈압과 최저혈압의 표준편차는 혈압국제규격 허용치 범위 안에 있는 12.1과 5.9로 각각 나타났다.

  • 본 연구는 유통되는 이식형(implantable) 의료기기의 추적(tracking) 및 회수(recall) 처리를 신속하고 정확하게 수행할 수 있는 통합 전산 관리시스템 설계하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 최신 FDA 규정을 만족하는 시스템을 MSF/CD 설계방법론을 기반으로 설계하였다. 추적과 회수의 주요한 4가지 가상 시나리오를 설정하고 workflow diagram을 작성하여 개념설계하였다. 또한 business workflow를 만족하는 서버의 논리 DB를 개발하여 논리설계 단계까지 시스템을 설계하였다. 제안된 시스템으로 이식형 의료기기의 심각한 부작용 등 문제 발생 시 신속하고 정확한 추적과 회수 처리가 가능하여 이식형 의료기기를 장착한 환자의 생명유지 및 국민 건강 보호를 위한 정부 차원의 효율적인 관리가 가능할 것으로 사료된다.
