The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of hope between authentic leadership and job stress of office workers. For this purpose, a total of 27 workplaces located in Gyeonggi, Chungnam and Chungbuk Province were selected and surveyed, and a total of 295 copies of the collected questionnaires were analyzed excluding the unfaithful responses. Correlation analysis and Baron & Kenny's regression analysis of mediating effects were performed on the collected data. The results of this study are as follows. First, there was a significant positive correlation between authentic leadership and hope-agency thinking and hope-path thinking, excluding job stress. Second, as a result of the mediating effect regression analysis, the mediating effect of hope was identified between authentic leadership and job stress. Finally, based on this study, measures to reduce the job stress of office workers were discussed, and program development and policies using hope were specifically suggested.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of academic self-efficacy in the process that nursing students' task value affects class participation. The subjects of this study were 161 second-year students of the Department of Nursing at K University located in G city, and the data collection period was from October 5 to October 14, 2020. The mediating effect of academic self-efficacy in the relationship between task value and class participation was analyzed using Baron and Kenny's 3-step mediating effect verification procedure using simple and multiple regression analysis and the statistical significance of mediating effects was verified by the Sobel test. As a result of this study, task value and academic self-efficacy were major factors influencing class participation, and academic self-efficacy was found to be a significant partial mediating variable in the relationship between task value and class participation. These factors explained 55% of class participation. In order to increase learners' class participation, an integrated approach that can improve task value and academic self-efficacy is needed.
We aimed to verify the mediating effect of depression on the relationship between burnout and flourishing, and the moderated mediating effect of psychological detachment on the mediating relationship. An online survey was conducted with 300 workers, and the results are as follows. First, significant correlations are found among burnout, depression, flourishing, and psychological detachment. Second, the mediating effect of depression on the relationship between burnout and flourishing was verified. Third, the moderated mediating effect of psychological detachment on the mediating relationship verified. Considering the successive effects of burnout on depression and the loss of flourishing, the necessity of efficient management of burnout became evident. Moreover, the moderating role of psychological detachment implies that the effect of burnout can be reduced to some extent through individual and/or organizational efforts for psychological detachment. It seems necessary to verify the moderating effect in more detail through experimental research in the future.
Purpose - This study aims to examine the impact of leadership on organizational trust and innovation performance, and to identify whether organizational trust plays a mediating role in the relationship between leadership and innovation performance. Also, this study attempts to find out how to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness based on leadership-based or trust-based strategies. And, this research proposed that organizational trust plays a core mediating role in the relationship between transactional and transformational leadership and innovation performance. Research design, data, and methodology - In order to test the hypotheses of this study, the survey was conducted towards franchise coffee shop employees between November 7 and 18, 2016. We contacted top executives of coffee shop franchise headquarters and explained the purpose of this study. Among 150 questionnaires distributed, 123 were collected. Of these collected questionnaires, 102 questionnaires were coded and analyzed for further analysis. In order to test the unidimensionality and reliability of the factors, factor analysis and reliability test were performed using SPSS/PC+ 22.0. And, the hypotheses were tested using hierarchical mediated regression analysis. Result - The results are as follows. First, transactional leadership, and intellectual stimulation, motivation of transformational leadership had significant impacts on organizational trust. Second, organizational trust, transactional leadership, and influence of transformational leadership had significant impacts on innovation performance. Third, the mediating test of organizational trust showed that transactional leadership plays a partial mediator, and intellectual of transformational leadership plays a full mediator in the relationship between leadership and innovation performance. Conclusions - The implications of this study are as follows. First, the top management should provide their organizational members incentives or rewards based on their performance. Second, top management should identify and express a clear vision and desirable organizational goals for the future, present an idealized vision, and communicate to organizational members that the vision is achievable, also have organizational members to think creatively and find optimal solutions to difficult problems. In sum, this study revealed the important role of leadership in embedding organizational trust in and improving innovation performance of coffee shop employees and the mediating role of organizational trust in the influence of leadership on innovation performance.

The purpose of this study was to verify the mediating effect of mentalization in the relationship between insecure adult attachment and emotion dysregulation. A total of 468 data were collected by requesting a survey to an online research company. The collected data were subjected to descriptive statistics and hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS 25.0. The Sobel test was conducted to verify the mediating effect of mentalization. The research results are as follows. First, there was a significant correlation between attachment anxiety, attachment avoidance, mentalization, and emotion dysregulation. Second, the mediating effect of mentalization in the relationship between attachment anxiety and emotion dysregulation was found to be significant, and a partial mediating effect was found. Third, the mediating effect of mentalization in the relationship between attachment avoidance and emotion dysregulation was found to be significant and a partial mediating effect was found. Through the results of this study, the relationship between insecure adult attachment and emotion dysregulation was confirmed, and the role of mentalization in the relationship between them was also confirmed.
The study examined the mediating effect of internalized shame on the relationship between affiliate stigma and interpersonal anxiety among adolescents with siblings who had autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and the moderated mediating effect of mother-adolescent communication openness. The participants consisted of 139 adolescents (boys 48.9%, high-school students 79.8%) who had siblings with ASD. Interpersonal anxiety, affiliate stigma, internalized shame, and mother-adolescent communication openness were measured using the Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescents (La Greca & Lopez, 1998), the Affiliate Stigma Scale (Mak & Cheung, 2008), the Internalized Shame Scale (Cook, 1988), and the Parent-Adolescent Communication Scale (Barnes & Olson, 1982), respectively. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Process Macro Models 4 and 7 were used to examine the mediating effect and the moderated mediating effect. The results indicated that internalized shame mediated the effect of affiliate stigma on interpersonal anxiety among adolescents who had siblings with ASD. However, there was no significant moderated mediating effect of mother-adolescent communication openness on the relationship between affiliate stigma, internalized shame and interpersonal anxiety. These findings suggest that it is necessary to improve social awareness of individuals with ASD and their family members to prevent adolescents who have siblings with ASD from having affiliate stigma and to help them reduce interpersonal anxiety. The results also highlight the importance of counseling programs for adolescents with siblings with ASD as a way of preventing or alleviating their interpersonal anxiety by reducing internalized shame, even where they experience affiliate stigma.

Objective : This study aimed to estimate the mediating effect of interpersonal problems in the association between depression and smartphone addiction among preadolescence. We verified the gender differences and interpersonal problem subtypes. Methods : This cross-sectional study obtained data from 674 subjects aged 9-12 years. The questionnaire included the Smartphone Addiction Scale-Short Form Version (SAS-SV), the Kovacs' Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), and the Korea Inventory of Interpersonal Problems (KIIP-SC). We analyzed data using Pearson's correlation analysis and evaluated the mediating effect of interpersonal problems. Results : The CDI score showed positive correlations with associated with the SAS-SV and the KIIP. In the total group, the KIIP-PA (Domineering) (b=0.13, 95%CI [0.05, 0.22]), the KIIP-BC (Vindictive)(b=0.07, 95%CI [0.02, 0.14]) and the KIIP-NO (Intrusive) (b=0.07, 95%CI [0.02, 0.13]) significantly mediated the association between the CDI and the SAS-SV. In men, the mediating effect of the KIIP-PA (Domineering) (b=0.20, 95% CI [0.08, 0.35]) was significant. On the other hand, in women, the mediating effect of the KIIP-BC (Vindictive) (b=0.14, 95% CI [0.06, 0.25]) and the KIIP-NO (Intrusive) (b=0.08, 95% CI [0.02, 0.17]) were significant. Conclusion : Understanding the mediating role of interpersonal problems in the association between depression and smartphone addiction may help find the appropriate intervention target.
This study is to examine the effects of high commitment HRM on service performance in the service industry, and to examine the mediating effect of the organizational internal innovation direction. Specifically, the direction of internal innovation consists of high-value-added HR and service and cost-reduction downsizing. We assumed that the high-value-added direction of HR and service will have a positive mediating effect. And assumed that cost-reduction downsizing direction has negative mediating effect. The data were collected from 2013 workplace panel survey(WPS) of the Korea Labor Institute(KLI). Among the 1,775 companies, 896 companies classified as wholesale and retail, transportation, professional scientific services, education services, health social services, financial services, and other services (such as information society support services) were extracted and used. In summary, high-commitment HRM has a positively significant effect on the direction of high value-added innovation of HR and services, and has a negatively significant effect on the cost-reduction downsizing direction. In addition, the direction of high value-added innovation of HR and service was positive effect on service performance, and cost-reduction downsizing innovation direction has a negative effect on service performance. And the direct effect of high commitment HRM on service performance has not been confirmed. However, we confirmed the positive mediating effect of high value-added innovation direction of HR and services, and confirmed that the negative mediating effect of cost-reduction downsizing. Therefore, it is confirmed that the two variables have a full mediating effect on the relationship between high commitment HRM and service performance.
This study is to research the mediating effects of optimism and quality of relationship which interpersonal traumatic experience influences posttraumatic growth. It focuss on verifying the impact of interpersonal traumatic experience to optimism and quality of relationship and the influence of optimism and quality of relationship to posttraumatic growth. And also it is to verify dual mediating effect between optimism and quality of relationship. Data for this study were collected through the use of a survey instrument completed by 405 interpersonal traumatic experience, 30-60 age group. Collected data were analysed by AMOS program, Structure Equation Model(SEM) was implemented to verify the mediating effect between optimism and quality of relationship. Finally, Phantom Variable was utilized for verification of indirect influence of a multi mediating effects. The findings of this study were as follows, First, the result shows that the higher level interpersonal traumatic experience, the higher posttraumatic growth they have. Second, it shows that optimism and quality of relationship have partial mediating effect between interpersonal traumatic experience and posttraumatic growth. Third, it was analyzed that optimism and quality of relationship had double mediating effect. Based on these findings, the research discussion reinforced the importance of intervene with its optimism and quality of relationship in the site of those who experience interpersonal trauma. Theological, political and practical implications of this study are as follows. First, it has a series of significance in terms of that this study confirmed its influence considering the quality of relationship from interpersonal experience among relevant factors of traumatic accident, optimism among individual factors, quality of relationship among environmental factors based on 'the crisis of life and the theory of individual growth'. econd, even though optimism and quality of relationship were proved as major predictors for posttraumatic growth of those who experience interpersonal traumatic, psychological support center for traumatic experience is not operated systematically in Korea. Third, this study implies that it should intervene mainly with its optimism and quality of relationship in the site of those who experience interpersonal trauma such as any abuses including sexual abuse, bullying, and divorce.
Information sharing behavior in the Internet has raised much interest. Recently, social network sites provide a new information sharing channel for the users who want to connect with others based on common social background or tastes. Especially, we focus that a social network site becomes one of major routes for information sharing about socially influential issues. Therefore, studying how information is diffused via a social network site may give theoretically, practically significant implication. Based on the assertion, we investigated user's behavior to mediate other user's information messages. We define information mediating behavior as concurrent actions of filtering and distributing behavior of the digital content that is originated from one of the connected users. In this study, we intended to understand the effects of information mediating behavior, and tried to understand characteristics of re-mediating of previously mediated information. Using an agent-based simulation model, we found that information mediating behavior increased the extent of information diffusion significantly. In addition, even a small degree of mediating probability could boost up the level of information diffusion in the case of a re-mediating condition. We believe that those findings provide remarkable insight of research and business application on both of information sharing and diffusion in a social network site.
