In this paper, we establish some comparison theorems about volumes of tubes in metric spaces with nonpositive curvature. First we compare the Hausdorff measure of tube about a metric ball contained in an (n-1)-dimensional totally geodesic subspace of an n-dimensional locally compact, geodesically complete Hadamard space with Lebesgue measure of its corresponding tube in Euclidean space ${\mathbb{R}}^n$, and then develop the result to the case of an m-dimensional totally geodesic subspace for 1 < m < n with an additional condition. Also, we estimate the Hausdorff measure of the tube about a shortest curve in a metric space of curvature bounded above and below.

In this paper we will consider the weighted composition operators W = $uC_{\tau}$ between $L^{p}$$(X,\sum,\mu$) spaces and Orlicz spaces $L^{\phi}$$(X,\sum,\mu$) generated by measurable and non-singular transformations $\tau$ from X into itself and measurable functions u on X. We characterize the functions u and transformations $\tau$ that induce weighted composition operators between $L^{p}$ -spaces by using some properties of conditional expectation operator, pair (u,${\gamma}$) and the measure space $(X,\sum,\mu$). Also, some other properties of these types of operators will be investigated.

In this paper, we propose a measurement system for measuring radioactivity detected in an indoor environment. This is to measure and prevent radiation generated in various spaces such as general house, workplace, and research institutes. Multi-radioactivity sensors are used to measure multiple spaces simultaneously. The measured radioactivity data is transmitted to the PC in real time through ZigBee and monitored. Even with a small amount of radioactivity, it is considered that it must be installed in a place where radiation exposure is expected, such as a laboratory or workplace, for prevention from chronic radiation syndrome.

In the present article we consider multiparameter maximal averages and discover the crucial roles played by the number of parameters in their boundedness properties. The problem we shall deal with is initiated by Rubio de Francia [8] and will be in the spirit of an inductive extension to multiparameter cases, in which tools of our study rely on the theory of Harmonic Analysis on product spaces. Suppose that $d_\mu$ is a complex Borel measure supported on a compact subset S of $R^N$ having total mass one, $\smallint_S d_\mu = 1$.

We give the characterizations of the classes of matrix trans-formations ($m(\phi),{\ell}_p$), ($n(\phi),{\ell}_p$) ([5, Theorem 2]), (${\ell}_p,m(\phi)$) ([5, Theorem 1]) and (${\ell}_p,n(\phi)$) for $1{\leq}p{\leq}{\infty}$, establish estimates for the norms of the bounded linear operators defined by those matrix transformations and characterize the corresponding subclasses of compact matrix operators.

We consider the problem to determine when a Toeplitz operator is bounded on weighted Bergman spaces. We introduce some set CG of symbols and we prove that Toeplitz operators induced by elements of CG are bounded and characterize when Toeplitz operators are compact and show that each element of CG is related with a Carleson measure.

Some function of a complete finite measure space (for short, CFMS) into the duals and pre-duals of weakly compactly generated (for short, WCG) spaces are considered. We shall show that a universally weakly measurable function f of a CFMS into the dual of a WCG space has RS property and bounded weakly measurable functions of a CFMS into the pre-duals of WCG spaces are always Pettis integrable.

In this study, the comfortable as well as good-looking overall patterns were investigated. To measure the maximum vertical spaces caused by the body movements, basic foundation type of overall pattern was made. The vertical spaces, which were measured using the CRO-SS-CUT method. The Result was as followings : The Maximum vertical space was 19.7㎝. The Maximum vertical space was 4.2㎝. The vertical space increased as the leg-movement angle increased.
