This paper is concerned with a kind of boundary value problem for singular second order differential systems with Laplacian operators. Using a multiple fixed point theorem, sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence of at least three positive solutions of this kind of boundary value problem are established. An example is presented to illustrate the main results.

In this paper the boundedness for a large class of multi-sublinear operators is established on product generalized Morrey spaces with non-doubling measures. As special cases, the corresponding results for multilinear Calder$\acute{o}$n-Zygmund operators, multilinear fractional integrals and multi-sublinear maximal operators will be obtained.

In most introductory statistics courses and text, the two equal tail test is presented without justification. In the present paper, the two equal tail critical region will be discussed in the light of unbiasedness with some test examples for the mean and the variance based on the random sample $X_1$, $X_2$,....$X_n$ from N($\mu$, $\delta^2$) using only elementary mathematics.

본 논문은 두리틀을 이용한 프로그래밍 언어 수업을 수학 교과 수업과 연계 적용하여, 수학 도형 영역에 학습부진 요소를 가지고 있는 기초학습 부진학생과 교과학습 부진학생의 학업 성취도와 학습 동기 유발에 있어 두리틀을 이용한 프로그래밍 언어 수업의 효과를 분석한다. 이를 통해서 두리틀 프로그래밍 교육이 수학과 수업과 연계한 재량 활동 교육 내용으로 적합한 교육 내용임을 검증한다.

최근 공과대학 학생들에게 대학수학의 중요성이 부각되고 있는 반면, 제7차 수학과교육과정의 인문계 수학에는 미분적분이 포함되어 있지 않고, 많은 중위권 대학의 입학전형에서 교차지원을 허용하기 때문에 공과대학 대학수학의 교수학습에서 많은 어려움이 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 중위권 공과대학 신입생들의 수학 기초학력과 대학수학능력시험수리영역 성적의 관계를 조사하여 교차지원을 허용하는 입학전형 제도의 문제점을 실증적으로 밝히는데 그 의의를 두었으며, 이를 위하여 2010학년도 A대학교 공과대학 신입생들을 대상으로 대학수학능력시험 수리영역 성적과 수학 기초학력평가 및 대학수학 교과목의 성적을 비교 분석하였다.

교사교육을 통한 교사의 수업 전문성 개발은 학교교육의 내실화에 핵심적인 요소이나, 우리나라의 수학교사교육은 예비교사 시기에 수업 경험의 기회가 충분히 부여되지 않는다는 비판이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 예비교사와 현장교사의 수업 전문성 개발을 위해, 전문가와 현장교사, 예비교사로 구성된 수학수업 연구 공동체 모델을 개발하였다. 그리고 과제 개발과 수정, 그리고 수업 관찰과 분석이라는 일련의 과정에 전문가와 현장교사, 예비교사가 모두 참여함으로써, 이 모델이 현장교사와 예비교사를 위한 교육의 장으로서 어떠한 가능성을 지니는지를 탐색하였다. 연구 결과, 전문가-현장교사-예비교사 수학수업 연구 공동체 모델을 통해 예비교사와 현장교사는 수업에 필요한 실제적인 경험과 이해를 높일 수 있었고, 나아가 (예비)교사로서의 정체성과 자긍심 등 교사효능감과 교직관에도 긍정적인 영향을 받았다. 이를 바탕으로 전문가-현장교사-현직교사 수학수업 연구 공동체 모델이 하나의 교사교육 체계로서 지니는 가능성을 확인하였고, 우리나라의 수학교사교육에 대한 유의미한 시사점을 도출할 수 있었다.

Peer assessment is the process of assessment of students by other students and one form of innovative assessment. It actively involves students in the assessment process and is generally agreed that such involvement enhances the quality and effectiveness of the learning process, since assessing something and benchmarking process is a powerful aid to mastering it themselves. It is more effective on the hard courses for them to understand. In this article we present a peer assessment technique which was applied to students enrolled in a mathematical statistics course and a historical course. In order to measure the effectiveness of the technique, students had to evaluate their colleagues based on predefined criteria and a comparison is presented between the instructor assessments and the peer assessment.

The purpose of this paper is to develop a teaching and learning material integrated two subjects Pythagorean theorem and Fibonacci numbers. Traditionally the former subject belongs to geometry area and the latter is in algebra area. In this work we integrate these two issues and make a discovery method to generate infinitely many Pythagorean numbers by means of Fibonacci numbers. We have used this article as a teaching and learning material for a science high school and found that it is very appropriate for those students in advanced geometry and number theory courses.

This study discussed about how pseudo-thinking process actually occurs in the mind of the students, used Piaget's frame work of the assimilation and accommodation process. The data collection is conducted using Think-Out-Loud (TOL) method. The study reveals that pseudo thinking process of covariational reasoning occurs originally from incomplete assimilation, incomplete accommodation process or both. Based on this, three models of incomplete thinking structure constructions are established: (1) Deviated thinking structure, (2) Incomplete thinking structure on assimilation process, and (3) Incomplete thinking structure on accommodation process.

This paper is concerned with integral type boundary value problems of second order singular differential equations with quasi-Laplacian on whole lines. Sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence and non-existence of positive solutions are established. The emphasis is put on the non-linear term $[{\Phi}({\rho}(t)x^{\prime}(t))]^{\prime}$ involved with the nonnegative singular function and the singular nonlinearity term f in differential equations. Two examples are given to illustrate the main results.
