We consider a checkpointing model for silent errors, where a checkpoint is taken every fixed number of verifications. Assuming generally distributed i.i.d. inter-occurrence times of errors, we derive the reliability of the model as a function of the number of verifications between two checkpoints and the duration of work interval between two verifications.

본 연구는 연립방정식과 연립부등식에서 탈북학생들이 나타내는 오류의 유형과 수학적 담론의 특성을 파악하여 학습의 향상을 꾀하고자 시도되었다. 이 때 담론중심의 학습은 학생들을 수학적 언어의 공동체로 이끌어내는 수단이 되어 자신감을 극복할 수 있게 돕는다. 이를 위해 다양한 배경을 지닌 5명의 탈북학생을 대상으로 2011년 1학기 서울에 위치한 모OO 대안학교에서 보충수업일환으로 8차시 연구가 수행되었다. 학습과정은 녹음되어 전사되었고, 학생의 학습지, 연구자의 관찰지가 수집되었다. 연구결과로는 탈북학생들은 기술적 오류, 기록오류, 잘못 이해된 기호, 잘못 해석된 언어, 한자어 해석오류를 보였고, 담론은 제 0수준으로부터 서서히 상위수준으로 향상은 보였으나 최상의 수준인 제 2수준~3수준은 단편적으로만 나타났다. 그러나 담론의 요소인 설명하기와 정당화하기가 활성화되면서 상호작용의 ERE 패턴에서 Ev(평가)와 Eb(정교화)가 증가하는 긍정적인 양상을 보였다.

Let K be a nonempty closed bounded convex subset of an arbitrary smooth Banach space X and T : KlongrightarrowK be a strictly hemi-contractive operator. Under some conditions we obtain that the Mann iteration method with errors both converges strongly to a unique fixed point of T and is almost T-stable on K. The results presented in this paper generalize the corresponding results in [l]-[7], [20] and others.

The purpose of this paper is to establish the necessary and sufficient conditions which ensure the strong convergence of the Ishikawa iterative schemes with errors to the unique fixed point of a $\Phi$-hemicontractive mapping defined on a nonempty convex subset of a normed linear space. The results of this paper extend substantially most of the recent results.

In this paper, a new class of $(h,{\eta})$-proximal for proper functionals in Hilbert spaces is introduced. The existence and Lip-schitz continuity of the $(h,{\eta})$-proximal mappings for proper functionals are proved. A class of generalized nonlinear quasi-variational-like inclusions in Hilbert spaces is introduced. A perturbed three-step iterative algorithm with errors for the generalized nonlinear quasi-variational-like inclusion is suggested. The existence and uniqueness theorems of solution for the generalized nonlinear quasi-variational-like inclusion are established. The convergence and stability results of iterative sequence generated by the perturbed three-step iterative algorithm with errors are discussed.

The aim of this article is to study an implicit iteration process with errors for a finite family of non-Lipschitzian asymptotically non expansive mappings in the intermediate sense in Banach spaces. Also we establish some strong convergence theorems and a weak convergence theorem for said scheme to converge to a common fixed point for non Lipschitzian asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in the intermediate sense. The results presented in this paper extend and improve the corresponding results of [1], [3]-[8], [10]-[11], [13]-[14], [16] and many others.

In this paper, we explore development of mathematical knowledge, especially calculus, non-Euclidean geometry, Euler's theorem, and the comparison of the number of elements in two infinite sets. And we analyze kinds of errors and the roles for errors with respect to increasing knowledge in mathematics.

This study was carried out to interpret mathematically hydraulic behaviour in packing tower which packed 50 mm plastic Hiflow-ring with a dimension of 300 mm wide and 1,400 mm high. In view of energy saving, the recent packing. 50 mm plastic Higlow-ring was superior to conventional packings because of low pressure drop in high loads. As relative error between numerically predicted and experimentally obtained values was less then 6% in the loading and flooding point, it found that therir results appeared to be adequate. Comparison of hose two values in both dry and wet packing conditions. relative errors amount to 3.96 and 5.6%, respectively. In order to evaluate the operating characteristics of packing, the type, size, and material for packings must be estimated in various system and loads. This study is able to calculated pressure drop, hold-up, gas and liquid loads using mathematical interpretation. For these calculation, the specific constants of each packings must be calculated first all. The method of mathematical interpretation in this study turned out to be superior to the existing methods because of reduced errors at loading and flooding point.

본 연구는 수학 학습 과정에서 빈번하게 유발되는 학습자의 오류를 교사들이 간편하고 정확하게 진단하고 처방하는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 교사용 자료 개발의 필요성을 제안하고, 이를 통해 이 분야의 연구를 진작시키고자 한다 이를 위해 수학과 오개념 및 오류 관련 연구들을 종합 분석하여, 이를 토대로 교재개발의 첫 번째 단계라 할 수 있는 교재의 구성요소 및 체제를 제안하였다. 본 연구에서는 교사용 교재의 구성 요소로 (1)오류 유형 및 유형별 빈도수, (2)오류 진단지, (3)오류 원인 (4)예방 아이디어 (5)지도 아이디어 (6)연습지 (7)성취도 검사지 등의 7가지를 추출하였으며, 각 요소별로 현재까지의 연구 상황 및 미래 연구 방향을 제안하고 있다.
