점성감쇠 모텔을 위한 새로운 동적 압축 방법 (Alternative Dynamic Condensation Methods for Viscously Damped Models)

  • Two ways can be used for dynamic condensation of viscously damped structural models. One is reducing the model in physical space at first and then transferring it to state space. The other is ,condensing the model in state space directly. Two iterative schemes for each way are given respectively. Hence four iterative schemes for dynamic condensation of nonclassically damped models are discussed in this paper. A high building with a tuned mass damper is applied to show the efficiency of these schemes.

독립형 태양광 인버터의 병렬 운전 기법 (Parallel operating technique for the stand alone PV PCS)

  • In this paper, a parallel operating technique for the stand alone photovoltaic (PV) power conditioning system (PCS) is proposed. The proposed parallel operating technique can increase the power rating of the system easily. Also, it provide three-phase connection function. The proposed technique does not separated master and slave system. Also, it does not use the separated synchronization line. Therefore, the PCS can supply continuous power even if one of the PCS breaks down. This technique is composed of a phase locked loop (PLL) control, droop control, current limit control and etc. Experimental result obtained on 2-kW prototype to verify the proposed technique.

  • 주혼돈계에서의 한 신호를 대응되는 종속계의 변수에 되먹임시켜 두 혼돈계를 서로 동기화시키는 혼돈의 동기화 방법을 autonomous계의 하나인 Lorenz계에 적용시켜 보았다. Lorenz계에서도 두 혼돈계는 동기화되었고 동기화 영역은 두 혼돈계의 변수들의 차로 이루어진 새로운 혼돈계에서의 laminar phase의 주기가 무한대일 때 생겼다. 이 혼돈계에서의 동기화 특성을 시간적 특성과 위상공간에서 분석하였다.

  • Spent nuclear fuel is very dangerous substance emitting strong ionizing radiation which is harmful to human body. The remote handling of spent nuclear fuel is essential because people cannot access this substance without protecting radiation. To handle highly radioactive material or nuclear waste, many kinds of teleoperators such as master slave manipulator, electro mechanical manipulator, servo manipulator, mobile robot was developed. The distance and dimension of target object cannot be measured easily when highly radioactive material is handled by teleoperator because one should use lead glass or TV camera and monitor to protect radiation and see target object. During experiments on the remote handling of spent nuclear fuel by electro mechanical manipulator, we often felt that a distance and dimension measurement system is necessary to handle the objects which is in the highly radioactive environment, so we developed a system which is appropriate for this purpose.

  • This paper presents a high-speed pulse-based flip-flop with pseudo MUX-type scan compatible with the conventional master-slave flip-flop with MUX-type scan. The proposed flip-flop was implemented as the standard cell library using Samsung 130nm HS technology. The data-to-output delay and power-delay-product of the proposed flip-flop are reduced by up to 59% and 49%, respectively. By using this flop-flop, ARM11 softcore has achieved the maximum 1GHz operating speed.

  • In this paper, we consider the development methodology of wireless monitoring system for a distribution transformer. The master/ slave devices are installed in the power distribution feeder and measure the current state of pole or ground transformers. After measuring, the devices send the measurement data to operating room through the wireless network such as RF and CDMA so that the power distribution supervisor can prevent a distribution transformer damaging caused by overloads and imbalance of loads.

  • Master and slave of teleoperation control system through internet or long distance cable must keep stable. If one part becomes unstable or time delay happens in network, the all system can become unstable. Usually stability of teleoperation control system can distinguish by passivity. In this paper, we implemented bilateral teleopcration control system that load passivity controller to keep stability of system. Composed by manipulator that trillion this sricks and horizontal manufacturing that have force reflecting function are available and embodied so that control through wireless LAN may be available. And distinguished stability through an experiment and manufacturing performance.

  • Recently, higher and bigger building is trend of the construction. Accordingly the building material is getting bigger and construction equipments are developed. But operation is still depends on human resource. Therefore there have several problems that are safety, laborious operation, and shortage of worker. In the various construction sites, the automation in construction is introduced to solve these problems. This paper proposed the automation system in construction that installs curtain wall in a high building. The system is expected effects that are reduction of a construction period, retrenchment of the cost and assurance of safety.

  • This paper presents a newly implemented parallel finite element procedure for contact-impact problems. Three sub-algorithms are includes in the proposed parallel contact-impact procedure, such as a parallel Belytschko-Lin-Tsay (BLT) shell element generation, a parallel explicit time integration scheme, and a parallel contact search algorithm based on the master slave slide-line algorithm. The underlying focus of the algorithms is on its effectiveness and efficiency for inclusion in future finite element systems on parallel computers. Throughout this research, a prototype code, named GT-PARADYN, is developed on the IBM SP2, a distributed-memory computer. Some numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the timing results of the procedure, discussing the accuracy and efficiency of the code.
