The Risk Management (RM) is applied for managing uncertainty of project. In this circumstance, the competences of RM have a direct effect on the performance of its application. Especially, as the RM, one of the project management areas, is a peopleoriented management field, the individual behavioral competences are significant for a risk manager. Therefore, this paper describes the development of individual behavioral competences for construction project risk manager. For this, the research classifies the individual behavioral competences of RM. And, the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) are applied to verify a validity of the competences. Likewise, a reliability analysis using Cronbach's alpha values is performed to test internal consistency. Based on the results, the authors carry out the Focus Group Interview (FGI) on expert panels of construction RM to confirm the hierarchical model of the individual behavioral competences. It is concluded that the proposed hierarchical model of individual behavioral competences helps construction companies to diagnose the competences of their project risk manager for progressing.

Communications manager for the N-Screen services draw students use cases and define the required functions. Based on this, Communication function is designed. In addition, Considering the characteristics of each device, personal location information to be reflected.

Recently as the user request on NoD (News-on-Demand) is largely increasing, there are a lot of researches to fulfill it. However, because of short life-cycle of new video data and periodical change of video data depending on anchor, it is difficult to apply the conventional video storage techniques to NOD applications directly. For this, we design and implement low-level storage manager for efficient storage and retrieval of multimedia data in NOD Services. Our low-level storage manager not only efficiently sotres video stream dat of new video itself, but also handles its index information. It provides an inverted file method for efficient text-based retrieval and an X-tree index structure for high-dimensional feature vectors. In addition, our low-level storage manager provides some application program interfaces (APIs) for storing video objects itself and index information extracted from hierarchial new video and some APIs for retrieving video objects easily by using cursors. Finally, we implement our low-level storage manager based on SHORE (Scalable Heterogeneous Object REpository) storage system by sunig a standard C++ language under UNIX operating system.

Purpose: The Purpose of the study was to suggest how the health manager use to be easy return-to-work of injured workers. Method: The data were collected by the health managers working at the 103 companies over medium size in Incheon, Gyoung-gi and Seoul through interview and report by themselves and analyzed by SAS V8 through t-test. Result: 1. The health managers are consisted of 2 kinds, one is health manager such as physician(10%) or nurse(81%) and the other is safety manager. The former works at the manufacturing company(62.9%), the latter at the service one(42.4%). 2. Management and counseling of occupational and non-occupational diseases, and high risk workers, health education, emergency care, worksite rounding, guidance of personal protector use, and health promotion services were highly performed by health managers. Comparing to these, safety managers performed guidance of job safety, safety management. The difference of two kinds of manager was significant statistically not only the aspect of general job but also related job to the workers of return-to-work after accident. Conclusion: This result shows that health manager can function as a care manager to the workers after return-to-work for adaptation to their job and rehabilitation bio-psycho-socially. But health managers don't have any regulations of encouraging injured workers to get their job again officially.

Many researches and projects are implemented about u-IT according to changes of ubiquitous environments in the world. Especially, there are benefits to raise lifestyle and we can develop industry by applying ubiquitous regionally. Also it makes citizen feel comfortable directly. There are many projects to regionally adopt ubiquitous services like u-City model for getting this advantages. RFID technology must be suited to each environment because each RFID tag has different characteristics according to frequency band. We need to integrate bands of RFID to overcome limitations and provide more detail information and services. In this study, we develop the dual band RFID Manager needed adopting u-Zone service for both 13.56MHz and 2.45GHz. The RFID Manager, application software for base station of u-Zone, delivers the information from readers to integrated u-Zone server system.

This paper describes design and implementation of a content manager in the Integrated Steaming Framework Architecture (ISSA) that is proposed by the authors. The ISSA can provide an environment to develop multimedia streaming applications under heterogeneous distributed systems. The goal of ISSA is to extend the limitations of existing streaming systems. It can support diverse media formats and high level programming environment for streaming application developers. Moreover, it is independent from underlying networks and operating systems, and compatible with the global real-time multimedia database system(BeeHive) so that streaming media is efficiently retrieved, stored, and serviced. The role of a content manager is important in the ISSA environment since it manages an information of media that are provided by the server, and allow users to access media more easily by means of conveying that information to the streaming server, Web server, and client efficiently. The proposed content manager is not only to meed these requirements, but also to provide streaming information to media source and transport manager in order to be an efficient streaming. Furthermore, it supports database transaction processing by using the database connector.

본 논문에서는 데이터 방송 환경에서의 DSM-CC 관련 Object Carousel Manager를 구현하고, 성능향상을 위한 캐싱 기법을 제안한다. Object Carousel Manger 구현은 다음과 같은 순서로 이루어진다. 먼저, 방송스트림에서 해당 PID별로 얻어온 모듈을 캐시에 저장한 후, 모듈에서 BIOP 메세지 오브젝트별로 분석한 뒤 파싱 한다. 그런 후, 파싱된 BIOP 메시지 오브젝트를 해당 서비스 게이트웨이, 디렉터리. 파일로 변환해준다. 마지막으로, 변환된 파일시스템에서 해당하는 Xlet Application을 실행시켜 주게 된다. 시스템성능 향상을 위해서 제안하는 캐싱 기법은 다음과 같다. DII의 Caching Priority Descriptor를 이용하여, Object들을 포함하고 있는 각각의 모듈에 대해서 Version Number를 Checking하는 주기인 Transparency_level을 부여하고, Application 실행 시 보여 주는 화면 순서대로 필요한 모듈에 대해 우선순위를 부여하여, 캐시에 업데이트 시 이를 반영하여, 시스템 전체의 성능을 향상시킨다.

This study examined the relationship among constructs that impact on strategic use of IS(Information Systems). Independent variables were OIQ(Organizational Intelligence Quotient) and role of CIO(Chief of Information Officer) as a top manager, and dependent variable are strategic use of IS. The dependent variable has three-sub constructs: 1) IT infrastructure flexibility; 2) operation-orientation; and 3) market-orientation. Seven research hypotheses derived from the research model, and were empirically tested using the PLS (Partial Least Squares) method. The research results confirmed that both OIQ and CIO's roles have strong impact on organizations' strategic use of IS. Communication and business network among the sub-constructs of OIQ have effect on strategic use of IS. CIO's role as a top manager was found to be significant. CIO's role as a resource allocator and innovator among the CIO's roles showed significant influence on strategic use of IS. OIQ was also significantly related to CIO's role as a top manager. This study suggests practical implications and insights to the enterprises which aim to apply IT strategically.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a plan for which Medical Record Technician, who has main task as efficient creation and management of medical information, is changed successfully to health information manager in IT-based medical environment. According to this research objective, it carried out an analysis on future model(To-be) for being changed into health information manger in addition to analysis of the current situation for task as medical record technician. The subject materials of analyzing the present status included 1) state-exam subjects for medical record technician 2) qualification examination subjects for health information manger 3) analytical data of the current task for domestically medical record technicians 4) symposiums and educational topics for the recent 3 years in Korean Medical Record Association. Future-model(To-be) data included 'HIM Professional Roles in E-HIM (R)' suggested by AHIMA(American Health Information Management Association). Through a comparative analysis of these materials, a role of being needed currently medical record technicians' new entry was analyzed to be Business change manager, IT training specialist, Consumer advocate, Clinical alerts and reminders manager, and Enterprise application specialist.

In order to apply job performance records to the master craftsman examination, which is an examination to screen the top-rated technician and task manager, the domestic industry has introduced job performance records to the written test of the master craftsman examination. Surveys on master craftsman's field capabilities and applicability are being conducted, and various qualification methods are being tested so as to give satisfaction to consumers in industrial fields. However, these methods have many problems in assessing task managers' qualifications. In order to solve these problems, this research intends to verify the appropriateness of introducing master craftsman's portfolios assessment and the suitability of application methods by conducting interviews and surveys. One big conglomerate and one mid-sized company that has more than 500 employees and covers from 주조(酒造:brewing) 또는 to providing various services to consumers were selected for this research.
