4D BIM based Workspace Planning Process in Building Construction Project (4D BIM 기반의 건설프로젝트 작업공간 계획 프로세스)

  • Each participant in building construction project requires their own workspace to execute their activities. In this environment, inappropriate workspace planning in construction site causes workspace conflicts which result in a loss of productivity, safety hazard and poor-quality issues. Therefore, workspace should be regarded as one of the most important resources and constraints have to be managed at construction site. However, current construction planning techniques such as Gantt chart, network diagram and critical path method have proven to be insufficient to workspace planning. This paper contains formalized process for workspace planning in 4D BIM environment to prevent workspace related problems in construction project. The proposed process in this paper represents workspace occupation status for each activity and suitable solutions for identified workspace conflicts by integrating workspace attributes and activity execution plan. Based on the result of this study, project manager will be able to prevent probable workspace conflicts and negative effect on project performance by devising appropriate workspace plan during preconstruction phase.

A Study of Recent Trends in Work-Family Balance : Focusing on Academic Journals Related to Domestic Families (일·가정양립의 최근 동향연구 : 국내 가족과 관련된 학회지를 중심으로)

  • This study aimed to explore research trends related to work-life balance. For this purpose, research period, methods subjects, and content were analyzed in percentages for papers related to work-life balance published from 2000 to 2022 in academic journals focusing on domestic issues. The results of this study are as follows: First, the number of papers has continuously increased since 2000. In particular, the number of papers(37) for 2016-2020 accounts for 39.8% of the papers analyzed in this study. Second, surveys(43%), secondary data analyses(30.1%), in-depth interviews(14%), and literature research(7.5%) were used as research methods, indicating the high prevalence of quantitative methods. Third, in the early 2000s, studies addressed work-family reconciliation support policies(6.4%) and focused on married women(26.9%) and married men and women(20.4%) to understand. Since 2016, various studies have been conducted, exploring workers regardless of marital status(16.1%), unmarried workers(5.4%), and workers in a specific occupational group(9.7%). Fourth, in terms of research content, there were 24 policy studies(21.0%) and 90 phenomenon analysis studies(78.9%) out of 114 total analysis subject papers, indicating an overlapin content and high proportion of phenomenon analysis.

A Case Study on Differences between High- and Low-Sales Organizations (With a focus on the Coaching behavioral of sales managers at K) (판매성과가 높은 조직과 낮은 조직의 차이에 대한 사례연구 (K사 판매관리자의 코칭행동을 중심으로))

  • This study set out to shed more specific light onto sales managers' coaching and salespersons'organizational commitment and role perceptions, which have been proven to work as important variables in salespersons' performance. It thus conducted an in-depth investigation into the overall sale management activities of sales managers from five high-sales organizations and five low-sales organizations and analyzed differences between them. The interviews of the ten sales managers were combined and analyzed. As a result, the ones from the high-sales organizations demonstrated the following characteristics: first, the salespersons of the high-sales organizations were strongly committed to the goals and values of their organizations. Second, the salespersons of the high-sales organizations had clear perceptions of their roles and showed relatively fewer role conflicts than those of the low-sales organizations. Third, the sales managers of the high-sales organizations demonstrated coaching behavior strongly. They provided positive feedback and role models for the salespersons to follow, thus earning great respect from them and maintaining trust-based relationships with them. And finally, the sales managers' organizational commitment and role perceptions had positive impacts on the salespersons' organizational commitment and role perceptions. Those research findings indicate that sales managers' organizational commitment and role perceptions can be a positive role model to salespersons and that such a role model can have influences on salespersons' performances as part of the characteristics of coaching behavior.

  • Forest ecosystem provides variety goods and services for human being. Unlike goods, forest ecosystem services could not be easily priced by market mechanism. This uncertainty has been caused to conflict in decision-making related forest ecosystem services. Quantification of forest ecosystem services is required to understand the importance of ecosystem services and their contribution to decision-making. As a growing concern of climate change, it is necessary to quantify and calculate carbon storage and sequestration in forest. In this study, for quantifying carbon storage and sequestration, we compared scale, output, input data availability of the models and analyzed the applicability of the models to Korea. The results of this study show that most models are applicable for quantifying carbon storage and sequestration. However, relatively few models are applicable for other regulating services (air quality regulation, flood mitigation, erosion control, water quality, etc.) of forest. This study would be helpful for quantifying regulating services of forest ecosystem research.

  • The purpose of this paper is to look at web entertainment in terms of marketing and analyze how consumers in Korea and abroad feel about it. To this end, methods such as literature research, case studies, and consumer interviews were used. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows. First of all, through the case of "Run BTS," the web entertainment program actively reflects the needs of viewers on entertainment content by utilizing the unique interactions of web entertainment in terms of products. In terms of price, web entertainment operated a paid service that contained more diverse contents. However, the degree of satisfaction with paid services was different for each age group or income of viewers. In terms of distribution, web entertainment can position viewers much more clearly than conventional TV entertainment, has strong communication with viewers, and is relatively free from political conflict or censorship in overseas exports. Finally, in terms of public relations, web entertainment is promoted in various ways to fans who are the mainstay of existing viewers, but public relations for various viewers other than fans are relatively weak. Based on the above analysis, this paper proposed ways to improve consumers of web entertainment by region, customized marketing by age, professional window for consumers to directly express their opinions on content, and wide promotion through various media.

A Study on the Analysis of Apartment Price affected by Urban Infrastructure System - Electricity Substation (도시기반시설이 공동주택가격에 미치는 영향분석에 관한 연구 - 전력통신시설(변전소)을 중심으로 -)

  • As one of urban infrastructure system, the electricity substation is critical for urban life and industrial activity as the electricity demands get higher than ever. However the substation is generally regarded as unpleasant or dangerous facility, which finally results in the continuous opposition movement by resident due to the belief of unidentified negative effect in apartment prices. Accordingly, as the scientifically objective and quantitative analysis is required to solve the social conflict, this study intends to examine the variation affected by urban infrastructure system, expecially for substation. After the independent variable defining the price of apartment and the dependent variable, which is apartment price, are identified and their spatial data has been filed, the forecasting model has been developed through the hedonic price function as well as artificial neural networks system. The research finding indicated that the spatial range affected by substation is not notable and the range of some case was applicable for less than 600m. It is expected that these research findings can be applied for establishing the one of solid cases for the analysis of economical effect to local housing market by the urban infrastructure system.

An Experience of Living Lab as Energy Transition Experiment: The Case of Urban Living Lab for Mini-PV System in Seong-Dae-Gol, Seoul, KOREA (에너지전환 실험의 장으로서 한국 리빙랩의 경험: 성대골의 도시지역 미니태양광 사례를 중심으로)

  • Recently, interest in energy tranisition is rising. Energy transition requires active participation and cooperation of diverse stakeholders, including users / citizens, in that it requires not only changes in technological factors but also changes and coordination of various social factors. Living labs are attracting attention as one of the ways to do this. This article is a detailed analysis of the activities of the mini-PV living lab in the urban area from 2016 to 2017 at the Seoul, Sung Dae Goal. Through the Living Lab, mini PV DIY products, backup centers, local financial services, and the development of a variety of education and training strategies have been achieved. These activities and achievements were analyzed through questions raised on strategic, tactical, and operational levels, as well as through multi-level perspective and interaction between initiative, regime, and niche. In conclusion, this living lab activity confirmed the possibility of a 'transition lap' to solve social problems such as sustainability of energy production and utilization. In particular, it gained remarkable results in terms of the operational leves of transition management governance, that is, transition experiment, and it was also remarkable in that it was the initiative of citizens. However, it did not proceed without difficulty. In particular, structural problems such as the conflict between the flexibility inherent in living lab and the bureaucratic rigidity of the financial support organization have appeared. There was also a limitation that there was no 'transition field' on the strategic level necessary to replicate and expand strategic niches while spreading the knowledge gained from the transition experiment, forming the vision of transition.

The effect of job stress of system maintenance staff on emotion exhaustion: Focusing on the moderating effect of professional identity (정보시스템 운영인력의 직무 스트레스가 정서적 소진에 미치는 영향: 전문직 정체성의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • The fourth industrial revolution is expected to bring about great changes in information technology sector and create a variety of jobs. However, the psychological anxiety of IT staff is increasing due to stress and uncertainty created by the new technologies. Accordingly, researchers examined how professional identity moderate the effect of job stress of system maintenance staff on emotion exhaustion. For empirical studies, data was collected from 160 employees responsible for managing and supporting IS, and the hypothesis was verified using SPSS 21. The analysis results showed that role conflicts, role ambiguity, and qualitative work overload, which are components of job stress, have affected the emotion exhaustion. Professional identity had a moderating effect the relationship between qualitative work overload and emotion exhaustion. On the other hand, professional identity did not moderate the relationship between role conflict and emotion exhaustion, role ambiguity and emotion exhaustion. As professional identity lessen the psychological burden and emotion exhaustion of introducing new technologies, organizations need to provide support to enhance professional identity for system maintenance staff.

Tourism Experience and Learning: Approach of the Activity Theory (관광경험과 학습의 관계: 활동이론적 접근)

  • As tourists travel to other regions, they encounter numerous facts that conflict with their views. At that time, we change our view of coping with life. In this respect, tourism is a new way of learning. As a new learning method, tourism experience research is a new approach. In this study, the relationship between experience and learning experienced in tourist destinations was analyzed by applying the activity theory. The analysis units applied in the activity theory were set as subjects, goals, communities, roles, methods and rules, outcomes, and relevance to local communities. Based on this, in-depth interviews were conducted with commentators and guides who had a great influence on the tourism experience to analyze the learning process of tourists. As a result of the analysis, the experiences of tourists during the tour were interactive in various forms within the unit as well as the unit of the activity system of the commentator and guide. This interaction induces changes in the tourism experience activity system, enabling tourists to learn. The content is that the value of learning increases as the role of guide and commentator increases, that the social and cultural dimension of tourism experience is included in the learning effect, and the contradictions that arise from interactions within or between activity systems. The fact that they find the solution process themselves, and that tourism activity is not an isolated unit, but exists at the intersection of hierarchies and networks, is affected by the activities and environments of others.

A Study on the Entrepreneurship Experience of Unmarried Mothers Living in Community : Focusing on Maternity Rights and Labor Rights (지역사회거주 비혼모의 기업가정신 (Entrepreneurship) 경험에 관한 연구 : 모성권과 노동권을 중심으로)

  • This study examines the entrepreneurial experiences of unmarried mothers living in a community who have succeeded in starting a business. Attention was given to the maternal and labor rights of five single mothers in a community who gave birth, raised children, and engaged in vocational activities. Data were collected through one-on-one in-depth discussions with the participants and analyzed using Colaizzi's descriptive-phenomenological method. The data analysis revealed 53 themes and 10 clusters of themes. Based on these results, items such as overcoming pregnancy conflict, reasons for starting a business, and successful entrepreneurial experience were identified and described. The key themes of this study include "Pressure to live", "Hold oneself responsible for an unblessed life", "Stigma and deprivation of opportunity", "Maintaining basic life amid anxiety", "Starting from ground zero", "Work and parenting tug-of-war", "Let's rely on my ability rather than external support", "Securing credit capital", "Philosophy for shared growth" and "Infinite possibilities at the edge of a cliff". In the attempt to start a business using positive psychological capital for the well-being of themselves and their children's, the mothers uncovered social capital, which led to mutual growth. Based on the research results, the ethics and resilience of shared growth were discussed.
