Zeatin이 Cd2+에 의한 닭의장풀의 생리적 독성에 미치는 영향 (The effects of zeatin on Cd2+ -induced physiological toxicities in Commelina communis L)

  • Three-week old Commelina communis was transferred and grown in Hoagland solution containing $100{\mu}M\;Cd^{2+},\;100{\mu}M\;Cd^{2+}+100{\mu}M\;kinetin,\;100{\mu}M\;Cd^{2+}+100{\mu}M\;zeatin\;and\;100{\mu}M\;Cd^{2+},\;200{\mu}M$ zeatin for 7 days, and then a number of physiological activities were investigated. In control, the length of the stem of plants was increased to 4.7cm, but in $Cd^{2+},\;Cd^{2+}+kinetin,\; Cd^{2+}+100{\mu}M\;zeatin\;and\;Cd^{2+}+200{\mu}M$ zeatin treatments, the growth of plants were increased to 1.5cm, 2.1cm, 3.9cm and 4.3 em, respectively. In the treatments of $Cd^{2+},\;Cd^{2+}+kinetin,\;Cd^{2+}+100{\mu}M\;zeatin\;and\; Cd^{2+}+200{\mu}M$ zeatin, total chlorophyll contents were reduced to $26\%,\;24\%,\;15\%\;and\;3\%$, respectively, on the contrast to the control. In chlorophyll fluorescence experiments, Fv/Fm ratios were also reduced to $44\%,\;21\%,\;17\%\;and\;5\%$ in the light intensity of $2100{\mu}Mmole\;E\;m^{-2}s^{-1}\;by\;Cd^{2+},\;Cd^{2+}+kinetin,\;Cd^{2+}+$100{\mu}M\;zeatin\;and\;Cd^{2+}+200{\mu}M$ zeatin treatments on the contrast to the control. Water stresses were increased to 2.6, 1.7 and 1.2 times by $Cd^{2+},\; Cd^{2+}+kinetin\;and\;Cd^{2+}+{\mu}M$ zeatin. On the other hand, combination of $Cd^{2+}+200{\mu}M$ zeatin reduced water stress to $0.12\%$. In $Cd^{2+}$ accumulation experiments $Cd^{2+}$transports were inhibited to $33\%\; 48\%\;and\;70\%\;by\;Cd^{2+}+kinetin,\;Cd^{2+}+100{\mu}M\;zeatin\;and\;Cd^{2+}+200{\mu}M$ zeatin. Therefore, it could be concluded that zeatin clearly reduced the toxicities of $Cd^{2+}$ by reducing the absorption of $Cd^{2+}$.

규소 시용에 의한 오이 흰가루병 발병억제 (Effects of soluble silicon on development powdery mildew(Sphaerotheca fuliginea) in cucumber plants)

  • 본 시험은 오이 양액재배시 배양액내 규산칼륨($K_{2}SiO_{3}$) 처리에 의한 흰가루병 방제여부를 검토하기 위하여 규산 칼륨($K_{2}SiO_{3}$, $25{\sim}27%$$SiO_{2}$ Kanto)을 0.85 mM(50 $mg{\cdot}L-^{-1}$), 1.7 mM(100 $mg{\cdot}L-^{-1}$) 및 3.4 mM(200 $mg{\cdot}L-^{-1}$)의 농도로 배양액에 처리하고 1.7 mM, 8.5 mM, 17 mM 및 34 mM의 농도로 엽면살포하였다. 생육중기(정식 51일)에 규산 3.4 mM 배양액 처리구는 흰가루병 병반면적율이 2.3%로 0.95 mM 처리구의 38.3%에 비해 현저히 억제되었다. 그러나 1.7 mM과 3.4 mM 처리간에는 현저한 차이가 없었다. 배양액내 규산의 농도를 0.05 mM에서 4.10 mM까지 증가시켰을 때 잎당 병반수, 병반면적 및 발아관 길이는 규산의 농도 증가에 따라 감소하였다. 규산을 처리한 잎에서의 분생포자 발아율은 처리농도가 높아질수록 현저하게 감소하였으며, 저농도 처리구(1.40 mM 이하)에서는 $14.7%{\sim}20.3%$, 고농도처리구(1.85 mM 이상)에서는 $9.0%{\sim}12.4%$였다. 2% 물한천 배지에서의 농도시험에서는 발아율이 $1.1%{\sim}2.0%$로 일정한 경향을 나타내지 않았다. 규산칼륨을 17 mM의 농도로 희석하여 엽면살포한 결과 무처리에 비하여 흰가루병 발생이 현저히 억제되었으며, 방제효과 지속기간은 병원균 접종후 4일까지였다.

GROUP-FREENESS AND CERTAIN AMALGAMATED FREENESS

  • In this paper, we will consider certain amalgamated free product structure in crossed product algebras. Let M be a von Neumann algebra acting on a Hilbert space Hand G, a group and let ${\alpha}$ : G${\rightarrow}$ AutM be an action of G on M, where AutM is the group of all automorphisms on M. Then the crossed product $\mathbb{M}=M{\times}{\alpha}$ G of M and G with respect to ${\alpha}$ is a von Neumann algebra acting on $H{\bigotimes}{\iota}^2(G)$, generated by M and $(u_g)_g{\in}G$, where $u_g$ is the unitary representation of g on ${\iota}^2(G)$. We show that $M{\times}{\alpha}(G_1\;*\;G_2)=(M\;{\times}{\alpha}\;G_1)\;*_M\;(M\;{\times}{\alpha}\;G_2)$. We compute moments and cumulants of operators in $\mathbb{M}$. By doing that, we can verify that there is a close relation between Group Freeness and Amalgamated Freeness under the crossed product. As an application, we can show that if $F_N$ is the free group with N-generators, then the crossed product algebra $L_M(F_n){\equiv}M\;{\times}{\alpha}\;F_n$ satisfies that $$L_M(F_n)=L_M(F_{{\kappa}1})\;*_M\;L_M(F_{{\kappa}2})$$, whenerver $n={\kappa}_1+{\kappa}_2\;for\;n,\;{\kappa}_1,\;{\kappa}_2{\in}\mathbb{N}$.

  • 본 연구는 2050 탄소중립 정책으로 에너지신산업 분야 혁신기술개발 일환의 ICT기술에 기반한 디지털화 연구로서 각각의 에너지 설비의 외부 인터페이스와 연동하여 통합관리 할 수 있는 oneM2M 기반 IoT 서버 플랫폼 개발이다. 전력 공기업인 한전은 에너지 IoT 'SPIN(Smart Power IoT Network)' 구축을 통한 한전 e-IoT 표준 규격을 분석하고 oneM2M 및 LWM2M Gateway Platform을 개발한다. oneM2M은 기존 Release1 대신 최근에 발표된 Release2에 대한 규격을 확보 및 분석하여 R2를 기준으로 e-IoT 표준 oneM2M 플랫폼을 개발하고, 또한 한전 e-IoT 표준을 충분하게 구현할 수 있는 e-IoT Gateway 장치 규격을 선정하고 향후 확장성까지 고려한 고성능의 Gateway 장치를 개발하고 관련 시스템을 제안하였다.

The Effect of External Divalent Cations on Intestinal Pacemaking Activity

  • Electrical rhythmicity in the gastrointestinal (GI) muscles is generated by pacemaker cells, known as interstitial cells of Cajal (ICC). In the present study, we investigated the effect of external divalent cations on pacemaking activity in cultured ICC from murine small intestine by using whole-cell patch clamp techniques. ICC generated pacemaker currents under a voltage clamp or electrical pacemaker potentials under a current clamp, and showed a mean amplitude of $-500{\pm}50$ pA or $30{\pm}1$ mV and the frequency of $18{\pm}2$ cycles/min. Treatments of the cells with external 0 mM $Ca^{2+}$ stopped pacemaking activity of ICC. In the presence of 2 mM $Ca^{2+}$, 0 mM external $Mg^{2+}$ depolarized the resting membrane potential, and there was no change in the frequency of pacemaking activity. However, 10 mM external $Mg^{2+}$ decreased the frequency of pacemaking activity ($6.75{\pm}1$ cycles/min, n=5). We replaced external 2 mM $Ca^{2+}$ with equimolar $Ba^{2+}$, $Mn^{2+}$ and $Sr^{2+}$, and they all developed inward current in the sequence of $Ba^{2+}$>$Mn^{2+}$>$Sr^{2+}$. Also the frequency of the pacemaking activity was stopped or irregulated. We investigated the effect of 10 mM $Ba^{2+}$, $Mn^{2+}$ and $Sr^{2+}$ on pacemaking activity of ICC in the presence of external 0 mM $Mg^{2+}$, and found that 10 mM $Ba^{2+}$ and $Mn^{2+}$ induced large inward current and stopped the pacemaking activity of ICC (n=5). Interestingly, 10 mM $Sr^{2+}$ induced small inward current and potentiated the amplitude of pacemaking activity of ICC (n=5). These results indicate that extracellular $Ca^{2+}$ and $Mg^{2+}$ are requisite for the pacemaking activity of ICC.

M2M 어플리케이션 지원을 위한 무선 결합 전송 플랫폼의 전송률 분석 (Throughput Analysis of Wireless Transmission Platform using Multiple Wireless Chips for M2M Networks)

  • Various M2M applications have different quality-of-service(QoS) requirements to be implemented practically. QoS requirements are normally data rate and delay constraint. However, there are limited number of wireless communication chip solutions which cannot support QoS requirements for all M2M application. Hence, aggregated usage of plural wireless communication chip solutions should be needed to implement M2M applications. In this paper, we consider the case that two wireless communication chips using random access protocol work together to transmit data of an M2M application. In such case, data rate and delay performance are mathematically analyzed. In our results, practical data rate can be improved from 2.5 to 7 times while delay constraints are satisfied if we simply use two wireless communication chips together.

음이온 계면활성제를 사용한 modified Fenton 반응의 과수안정제 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study about Development of Hydrogen Peroxide Stabilizer in Modified Fenton Reaction Using Anion Surfactant)

  • 본 연구에서는 modified fenton 반응에서 과산화수소를 안정화하여 오염토양 정화의 효과를 증대시키고자 하였다. 오염토양을 모사하기 위하여 PAHs 계열의 대표적인 오염물질인 phenanthrene을 사용하였다. 과수안정제로는 음이온 계면활성제인 SDS(Sodium dodecyl Sulfate)를 사용하였다. Modified Fenton 반응에서 phenanthrene의 제거율을 확인하기 위하여 Fe(II) 4 mM, SDS 5~50 mM 및 $H_2O_2$ 102.897 mM를 phenanthrene 125 mg/kg으로 오염된 토양에 주입하였다. 과수안정제인 SDS가 30 mM이 사용된 경우 phenanthrene의 제거 효율이 95%로 가장 높게 나타났으며 30 mM이싱에서는 시스템에서 SDS가 scavenger로 작용하여 오염물질의 제거효율이 SDS 30 mM 일 때 보다 낮게 나타났다. 과수안정제를 사용한 뒤 과산화수소의 농도변화를 분석한 결과 Fe(II) 2 mM에서 48시간 이후 14.6995 mM 이상 남아있어서 가장 안정적이었지만, Fe(III)을 주입한 경우에는 과산화수소가 안정화되지 않았다. Modified Fenton 반응에서 철과 SDS 농도 사이의 최적의 비율을 찾기 위하여 SDS의 농도는 30 mM로 고정하고 철의 농도를 2~8 mM로 변화시켜 실험한 결과 Fe(II) 4 mM 및 SDS 30 mM에서 약 95%의 가장 높은 제거율을 보였다.

  • The fast implementation algorithm of M-band discrete wavelet transform is propsed using the factorization of lossless matrix when the length of discrete orthogonal wavelet bases equals to 2M. In computational complexity when direct filtering method is employed, the number of multiplicationand addition is (2M$^{2}$) and (2M$^{2}$ -M), respectively. But by proposed algorithm, it can be reduced to (M$^{2}$+M) and (M$^{2}$+2M-1), respectively. and it is possible to reduce the compuatational complexity further when unitary matrix employed to design the discrete or thogonal wavelet basis has the fast algorithm.

Microbial Conversion of Ginsenoside from the Extract of Korean Red Ginseng (Panax ginseng) by Lactobacillus sp.

  • Thirty-four strains of Lactobacillus species were isolated from soil and eight of these isolates (M1-4 and P1-4) were capable of growing on red ginseng agar. The M1 and P2 strains were determined to be L. plantarum and other strains (M2, M3, M4, P1, P3 and P4) were determined to be L. brevis. Fermentation of red ginseng extract (RGE) with strains M1, M2, P2 and P4 resulted in a low level of total carbohydrate content (174.3, 170.0, 158.8 and 164.8 mg/mL, respectively). RGE fermented by M3 showed a higher level of uronic acid than the control. The polyphenol levels in RGE fermented by M1, P1 and P2 (964.9, 941.7 and $965.3\;{\mu}g/mL$, respectively) were higher than the control ($936.8\;{\mu}g/mL$). Total saponin contents in fermented RGE (except M1) were higher than the control. RGE fermented by M2 and M3 had the highest levels of total ginsenosides (31.7 and 32.7 mg/mL, respectively). The levels of the ginsenoside Rg3 increased from 2.6 mg/mL (control) to 3.0 mg/mL (M2) or 3.1 mg/mL (M3). RGE fermented by M2 and M3 also had the highest levels of Rg5+Rk1 (7.7 and 8.3 mg/mL, respectively). Metabolite contents of ginsenoside (sum of CK, Rh1, Rg5, Rk1, Rg3 and Rg2) of M2 (13.0 mg/mL) and M3 (13.9 mg/mL) were also at a high level among the fermented RGE. Protopanaxadiol and protopanaxatriol content of ginsenoside of M2 (10.9 and 5.4 mg/mL, respectively) and M3 (11.0 and 5.7 mg/mL, respectively) were at higher levels than other fermented RGE.

Comparison of Various Single Chemical Extraction Methods for Predicting the Bioavailability of Arsenic in Paddy Soils

  • The Codex Committee of Contaminants in Food (CCCF) has been discussing a new standard for arsenic (As) in rice since 2010 and a code of practice for the prevention and reduction of As contamination in rice since 2013. Therefore, our current studies focus on setting a maximum level of As in rice and paddy soil by considering bioavailability in the remediation of As contaminated soils. This study aimed to select an appropriate single chemical extractant for evaluating the mobility of As in paddy soil and the bioavailability of As to rice. Nine different extractants, such as deionized water, 0.01 M $Ca(NO_3)_2$, 0.1 M HCl, 0.2 M $C_6H_8O_7$, 0.43 M $HNO_3$, 0.43 M $CH_3COOH$, 0.5 M $KH_2PO_4$, 1 M HCl, and 1 M $NH_4NO_3$ were used in this study. Total As content in soil was also determined after aqua regia digestion. The As extractability of the was in the order of: Aqua regia > 1 M HCl > 0.5 M $KH_2PO_4$ > 0.43 M $HNO_3$ > 0.2 M $C_6H_8O_7$ > 0.1 M HCl > 0.43 M $CH_3COOH$ > deionized water > 1 M $NH_4NO_3$ > 0.01 M $Ca(NO_3)_2$. Correlation between soil extractants and As content in rice was in the order of : deionized water > 0.01 M $Ca(NO_3)_2$ > 0.43 M $CH_3COOH$ > 0.1 M HCl > 0.5 M $KH_2PO_4$ > 1 M $NH_4NO_3$ > 0.2 M $C_6H_8O_7$ > 0.43 M $HNO_3$ > 1M HCl > Aqua regia. BCF (bioconcentration factor) according to extractants was in the order of : 0.01M $Ca(NO_3)_2$ > 1 M $NH_4NO_3$ > deionized water > 0.43 M $CH_3COOH$ > 0.1 M HCl > 0.43 M $HNO_3$ > 0.2 M $C_6H_8O_7$ > 0.5 M $KH_2PO_4$ > 1 M HCl > Aqua regia. Therefore, 0.01 M $Ca(NO_3)_2$ ($r=0.78^{**}$) was proven to have the greatest potential for predicting As bioavailability in soil with higher correlation between As in rice and the extractant.
