대공간 목구조 건축의 건립 현황과 구조시스템 특성 분석 (A Study on the Construction Status and the Structural System Features of Wooden Large Space Buildings)

  • In this research, the case of modern wooden structures since 1950 with span of 30m or more was investigated and analyzed the construction status and structural planning characteristics of wooden large space architecture. As a result, wooden large space buildings have built around Asia, North America, and Europe, in which cases of ice skating stadiums with span of 30m to 60m were concentrated. In the case of baseball parks and football stadiums, even a span of about 165m was built in a wooden structure. In addition, it was found that the structural systems used in wooden large space structures were a funicular arch and truss structure, in that cases, funicular arch system consisting of radial arrangements was used in the examples exceeded 150m and the two way truss system was also used in long span wooden structures exceeding 100m. As the truss structure with a tie-rod or the flexure+tension structure was partially investigated, it can be seen that various timber structural systems need to be devised and researched. Also, It was investigated that a technique in which some members of the truss are made of steel or a composite member of steel and timber is also possible to develop

  • The molecular structure influences the thermal behavior of HTM. For OLED the glass transition temperature and evaporation temperature are critical. We report how changes in structure cause changes on both parameters. The results may be of interest for chemists when they design new molecule structures for OLED.

  • 한국 남해안 거제도 앞바다에 투하된 인공용승구조물에 대한 해황 변화를 파악하기 위해 CTD를 이용하여 계절별 관측을 실시하였다. 동계의 수온, 염분 및 밀도의 분포를 살펴보면 표 ${\cdot}$ 저층간의 연직혼합에 의하여 그 차가 작게 나타났으며 춘계에는 표층 10m 이천에서 태양 복사열에 의한 가열현상을 볼 수 있었다. 하계는 표층 수온의 상승으로 표 ${\cdot}$ 저층간의 성층이 약 $10{\sim}20$ m에 형성되었으며 추계에는 하계에 존재한 강한 성층이 서서히 파괴되어 하계보다 약 20m 깊어진 수심 $30{\sim}40$ m 에 성층이 존재하였다. 수온의 기울기 분포를 보면 하계에는 해중산 동쪽보다 서쪽에서 크게 나타났으며, 추계에서도 서쪽에서 기울기가 크게 나타났다. 또한 인공구조물 구축 선과 후의 성층분포틀 비교하였을 때 그 형성수심의 변화를 볼 수 있다.

The Effect of Chemical Vapor Infiltrated SiC Whiskers on the Change in the Pore Structure of a Porous SiC Body

  • In this study, SiC whiskers were grown on a porous SiC diesel particulate filter for nanoparticle filtering. To grow the whiskers at the inner pore without closing the pores, we used chemical vapor infiltration with a solution source and a dilute. As the deposition time increased, the whiskers grew and formed a network structure. After 180 min of deposition, the mean diameter of the whiskers was 174 nm and the compressive strength was 58.4 MPa. The pores shrank from $10{\mu}m\;to\;0.4{\mu}m$ and, because the whiskers filed the inner pores, the gradient of permeability decreased as the deposition time increased. However, by using the network structure of whiskers deposited for 120 min and 180 min, we obtained a diesel particulate filter with pores of $0.98{\mu}m\;and\;0.4{\mu}m$, respectively. Furthermore, the filter shows better permeability than a porous body with pores of $1{\mu}m$. In short, by filtering the nanoparticulate materials, the network structure of whiskers improves the strength, reduces the pore size and minimizes the permeability drop.

  • The concept of the structure conformal vector field C on a Sasakian manifold M is defined. The existence of such a C on M is determined by an exterior differential system in involution. In this case M is a foliate manifold and the vector field C enjoys the property to be exterior concurrent. This allows to prove some interesting properties of the Ricci tensor and Obata's theorem concerning isometries to a sphere. Different properties of the conformal Lie algebra induced by C are also discussed.

  • Let M be an 0-minimal structure on the standard structure :=( , +, ,<) of the field of real numbers. We study Cr -G manifolds (0$\leq$r$\leq$w) which are generalizations of Nash manifolds and Nash G manifolds. We prove that if M is polynomially bounded, then every Cr -G (0$\leq$r<$\infty$) manifold is Cr -G imbeddable into some n, and that if M is exponential and G is a compact affine Cw -G group, then each compact $C\infty$ -G imbeddable into some representation of G.

ALMOST EINSTEIN MANIFOLDS WITH CIRCULANT STRUCTURES

  • We consider a 3-dimensional Riemannian manifold M with a circulant metric g and a circulant structure q satisfying $q^3=id$. The structure q is compatible with g such that an isometry is induced in any tangent space of M. We introduce three classes of such manifolds. Two of them are determined by special properties of the curvature tensor. The third class is composed by manifolds whose structure q is parallel with respect to the Levi-Civita connection of g. We obtain some curvature properties of these manifolds (M, g, q) and give some explicit examples of such manifolds.

  • Let M be a real hypersurface with almost contact metric structure (ϕ, ��, η, g) in a nonflat complex space form Mn(c). We denote S and R�� by the Ricci tensor of M and by the structure Jacobi operator with respect to the vector field �� respectively. In this paper, we prove that M is a Hopf hypersurface of type A in Mn(c) if it satisfies R��ϕ = ϕR�� and at the same time R��(Sϕ - ϕS) = 0.

  • The crystal structures of (Na0.3Sr0.7)(Ti0.7M0.3)O3 (M=Ta, Nb) compounds were determined using the Rietveld method. Due to the tilting of a oxygen octahedron, (Na0.3Sr0.7)(Ti0.7Nb0.3)O3 had a superlattice of doubled a, b and c of simple perovskite. The crystal structure of (Na0.3Sr0.7)(Ti0.7M0.3)O3 was tetragonal with a space group 14/mmm. The crystal structure of (Na0.3Sr0.7)(Ti0.7M0.3)O3 was a cubic with space group Pm3m, in which no tilting of oxygen octahedron was observed. The difference in the oxygen tilting of these two materials was due to the larger covalency of Nb-O bond than that of Ta-O bond, which induced a strong $\pi$Nb0 bonding in (Na0.3Sr0.7)(Ti0.7M0.3)O3. Therefore, the higher transition temperature of (Na0.3Sr0.7)(Ti0.7M0.3)O3 could be related to the larger tilting of oxygen octahedron.

알루미늄의 발수 표면처리 기술 개발 (Development of Surface Treatment for Hydrophobic Property on Aluminum Surface)

  • A hydrophobic surface has been fabricated on aluminum by two-step surface treatment processes consisting of structure modification and surface coating. Nature inspired micro nano scale structures were artificially created on the aluminum surface by a blasting and Ar ion beam etching. And a hydrophobic thin film was coated by a trimethylsilane ($(CH_3)_3SiH$) plasma deposition to minimize the surface energy of the micro nano structure surface. The contact angle of micro nano structured aluminum surface with the trimethylsilane coating was $123^{\circ}$ (surface energy: 9.05 $mJ/m^2$), but the contact angle of only trimethylsilane coated sample without the micro nano surface structure was $92^{\circ}$ (surface energy: 99.15 $mJ/m^2$). In the hydrophobic treatment of aluminum surface, a trimethylsilane coated sample having the micro nano structure was more effective than only trimethylsilane coated sample without the micro nano structure.
