This paper describes a new low-swing inverter for low power consumption. To reduce a power consumption, an output voltage swing is in the range from 0 to $V_{ref}-V_{TH}$, where $V_{ref}=V_{DD}-nV_{TH}$. This can be done by the inverter structure that allow a full swing or a swing on its input terminal without leakage current. Using this low-swing voltage technology, we propose a low-power $4\times4$ bit parallel multiplier. The proposed circuits are simulated with HSPICE under $0.35{\mu}m$ CMOS standard technology. Compare to the previous works, this circuit can reduce the power consumption rate of 11.2% and the power-delay product of 10.3%.

In this paper, we propose a new Low-Swing CVSL full adder for low power consumption. An $8\times8$ parallel multiplier is used for the comparison between the proposed Low-Swing CVSL full adder with conventional CVSL full adder. Comparing the previous works, this circuit is reduced the power consumption rate of $13.1\%$ and the power-delay-product of $14.3\%$. The validity and effectiveness of the proposes circuits are verified through the HSPICE under Hynix $0.35{\mu}m$ standard CMOS process.
This paper describes a new low-swing inverter for low power consumption. To reduce a power consumption, an output voltage swing is in the range from 0 to VDD-2VTH. This can be done by the inverter structure that allow a full swing or a swing on its input terminal without leakage current. Using this low-swing voltage technology, we proposed a low-power 16$\times$16 bit parallel multiplier. The proposed circuits are designed with Samsung 0.35$\mu$m standard CMOS process at a 3.3V supply voltage. The validity and effectiveness are verified through the HSPICE simulation.. Compared to the previous works, this circuit can reduce the power consumption rate of 17.3% and the power-delay product of 16.5%.
The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the muscle activations between the professional golfers without low back pain symptom and the professional golfers with low back pain symptom, and so identify the stress related to golf swings, and provide the basic data to minimize the low back pain and the injury risk. Using surface electrode electromyography, we evaluated muscle activity in 6 male professional golfers during the golf drive swing. Surface electrodes were used to record the level of muscle activity in the Abdominal Oblique, Elector Spinae, Rectus Abdominis, Gluteus Maximus muscles during the golfer's swing. These signals were compared with %RVC(Reference voluntary contraction) which was normalized by IEMG(Integrated EMG). The golf swing was divided into five phases: take away, forward swing, acceleration, early follow through, late follow through. we observed patterns of trunk muscle activity throughout five phases of the golf swing. The results can be summarized as follows: RES(Right Elector Spinae) had statistically significant difference in take away phase, LGM(Left Gluteus Maximus), LRA(Left Rectus Abdominis), LOA(Left Oblique Abdominal) had statistically significant difference in forward swing phase, RES(Right Elector Spinae), RGM(Right Gluteus Maximus), ROA(Right Oblique Abdominal) had statistically significant difference in acceleration phase, RES(Right Elector Spinae), RGM(Right Gluteus Maximus) had statistically significant difference in early follow-through phase, LES(Left Elector Spinae), RGM(Right Gluteus Maximus) had statistically significant difference in late follow through phase.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the weight transfer patterns under the different golf swing types which are full swing control swing and putting stroke. Two women golfers participated in this study, one(165cm, 94.3kg)being classified as a low-handicap(LH)player, the other(165cm, 54.5kg) being classified as a high-handicap(HH) player. Both players are right-handed. Two force plates(Kistler, 9286AA) were synchronized with a motion capture system(Qualisys ProReflex MCU240). Anteriorposterior, mediolateral, and vertical forces were used as an indicator of the pattern of swing. Four discrete positions which are address, top of backswing impact, and finish were identified as an event and three phases which are backswing downswing, and follow-through between he events were also identified. The results showed that, at impact, the total force was 1.24BW ring the full swing 1.17BW during the control stroke, 1.00BW during the putting stroke. Depending on the golf swing types, the differences are existed. At impact, the distribution of forces is different with a low-handicap(LH) player and a high-handicap(HH) player. A LH player has 26% in right foot and 74% in left foot during the full swing 49% in right foot and 51% in left foot during the control swing 49% in right foot and 51% in left foot during the putting stroke. A HH, on the other hand, has 74% in right foot and 26% in left foot during the full swing 62% in right foot and 38% in left foot during the control swing 54% in right foot and 46% in left foot during the putting stroke. From address to top of backswing the amount of vertical forces are changed 43:57(right foot: left foot) to 76:24 during the full swing 47:53(right foot: left foot) to 75:25 during the control swing 50:50(right foot: left foot) to 54:46 during the putting stroke. The biggest weight transfer pattern took place in full swing and the control swing is next, and the putting stroke is the final.

Low back pain is a common phenomenon among the golfers. In an attempt to understand low back pain, the kinematic changes and golf swing motion analysis has been performed to focus on lumbar spine in pro. golfers. According to the swing pattern, significant variations of the lumbar joint forces and loads has related with muscles activities so the motion analysis of lumbar spine were discussed. The purpose of this study was to analyze motion of lumbar spine and it was to compare joint force during golf swing in pro. golfers. The swing motion of the subjects was tracked using a 3D motion analysis system by Motion Analysis Ltd. and SIMM software. The angle changes of lumbar spine rapidly in vx direction during the top back swing and the finish and in vy direction during the follow through and in vz direction during the down swing and the impact(Subject A). The angle changes of lumbar spine rapidly in vx direction during the top back swing and in vy direction during the down swing, the impact and the follow through and in vz direction during the down swing(Subject B). In conclusion, subject A and B both show sudden angle changes between 1st-3rd lumbar spine and 4th-5th lumbar spine during the stage from address to top back swing which caused by over upper body twisting.
In the present study, modelling and optimization of ethanol-n-heptane separation process were performed using pressure-swing distillation. The pressure-swing distillation process optimization was performed to obtain high purity ethanol and high purity n-heptane into a low-high pressure columns configuration and a high-low pressure columns configuration. The results of pressure-swing distillation process simulation and optimization using high-low pressure column configuration showed a reduced total reboiler heat duty at 5.8% which confirmed a more economical energy consumption.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the Seesaw & Swing Early Intervention Program on the positive changes of young children from low-income families. The Seesaw & Swing program was developed by the Community Chest of Korea (Hwang et al., 2009). The subjects for this study consisted of 534 3~6-year olds (177 in the service group, 357 in the control group) from low-income families. The instrument used was the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales, second edition (Sparrow, Cicchetti, & Balla, 2005). The results of this study indicated that the Seesaw & Swing intervention program produced positive effects in all of the domain areas under examination : namely, the communication abilities, life skills, socialization, physical development, and adaptive behaviors of young children. In conclusion, the Seesaw & Swing Early Intervention Program for young children from low-income families can be said to be an effective early intervention program which goes some way towards ending the intergenerational transition of poverty in Korea.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the Seesaw & Swing early intervention program on the positive changes of mothers with young children who come from low-income families. It measures their child-rearing efficacy and their child-rearing behaviors. The Seesaw & Swing early intervention program was developed by the Community Chest of Korea [13]. The subjects for this study consisted of 96 mothers (49 in the service group, 47 in the control group) from low-income families. The instruments used were the child-rearing efficacy scale [4] and the child-rearing behavior scale [29]. The results of this study indicated that the Seesaw & Swing early intervention program produced positive effects in child-rearing efficacy as well as in child-rearing behaviors: namely, healthy-rearing abilities, guidance abilities, and discipline abilities in child-rearing efficacy; and affection, rational guidance, authoritative control, encouragement and concern in child-rearing behaviors. In conclusion, for mothers with young children coming from low-income families, the Seesaw & Swing early intervention program can be said to be an effective parent education program, which goes some way towards ending the intergenerational transition of poverty in Korea.
