전자력학적 근사해법인 섭운이론을 횡정식계를 가한 N형 Silicon 반도체로 충만된 거형도파관내의 마이크로로파의 정변특성에 적용해서 전력의 식을 구했다. 이는 전자파의 Maxwell 방정식을 연산자에 의한 고유치문제로 다루어 개발했다. 특히 2개의 Magic-Tee를 사용해서 x만에 의해서 변화하는 전자성분을 검출한 9.61GHz의 TE 파에 의한 실험결과는 제1차사치와 아주 잘 일치했다.

In this paper, we introduce a new class of completely generalized strongly nonlinear quasivariational inequalities and establish its equivalence with a class of fixed point problems by using the resolvent operator technique. Utilizing this equivalence, we develop a three-step iterative scheme with errors, obtain a few existence theorems of solutions for the completely generalized non-linear strongly quasivariational inequality involving relaxed monotone, relaxed Lipschitz, strongly monotone and generalized pseudocontractive mappings and prove some convergence and stability results of the sequence generated by the three-step iterative scheme with errors. Our results include several previously known results as special cases.

이 논문은 디지털 영상에 대한 에지를 보존하는 새로운 영상 보간 방법을 제안한다. 일반적인 보간 기법은 선형 연산자를 이용한 저역필터를 사용함으로써 원 영상의 고조파 성분에 대한 정보를 손실하는바 high contrast 에지 부분에서 희뿌옇게 되는 현상과 톱니현상이 일어나 영상 선명도가 떨어지는 경향이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 개선한 새로운 보간 기법을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제시한 보간 알고리즘은 퍼지 연산자를 이용하여 입력 영상 데이터의 성질에 따라 고주파 성분과 저주파 성분을 달리 조절함으로써 원래 영상에 가까운 해상도를 얻을 수 있다.

In this paper, a generalized adaptive law is proposed which uses a rational function type operator for parameter adjustment. To satisfy the passivity condition of the adaptation block, we introduce a constant feedback gain into the adaptation block. This adaptation scheme is applied to the model reference adaptive control of a continuous-time, linear time-invariant, minimum-phase system whose relative degree is 1. We prove the asymptotic stability of the output error of this adaptive system by hyperstability method. It is shown that by digital computer simulations this law can give a better output error transient response in some cases than the conventional gradient adaptive law. And the output error responses for the several types of the proposed adaptation law are examined in the presence of a kind of unmodeled dynamics.

Using the projection operator technique, a reduced density matrix theory for linear absorption spectrum of energy transfer systems is developed for the theoretical absorption line shape of the systems with non-Condon transitions. As an application, we considered a model system of OH vibrations of water. In the present model calculation, the OH vibration modes are coupled to each other via intra-molecular coupling mechanism while their intermolecular couplings are turned off. The time-correlation functions appearing in the formulation are calculated from a mixed quantum/classical mechanics method. The present theory is successful in reproducing the exact absorption line shape. Also the present theory was improved from an existing approximate theory, time-averaged approximation approach.

In this paper, we introduce a new algebraic method to characterize rational PH plane curves. And using this method, we study the algebraic characterization of generic strongly regular rational plane PH curves expressed in the complex formalism which is introduced by R.T. Farouki. We prove that generic strongly semi-regular rational PH plane curves are completely characterized by solving a simple functional equation H(f, g) = $h^2$ where h is a complex polynomial and H is a bi-linear operator defined by H(f, g) = f'g - fg' for complex polynomials f,g.

In this paper, we introduce a new class of uniformly point-wise R-subweakly commuting self-mappings and prove several common fixed point theorems and best approximation results for uniformly point-wise R-subweakly commuting asymptotically I-nonexpansive mappings in normed linear spaces. We also establish some results concerning strong convergence of nearest common fixed points of asymptotically I-non-expansive mappings in reflexive Banach spaces with a uniformly G$\^{a}$teaux differentiable norm. Our results unify and generalize various known results given by some authors to a more general class of noncommuting mappings.

Let $\{U(t,s)\}_{t{\geq}s}$ be a periodic evolutionary process with period ${\tau}$ > 0 on a Banach space X. Also, let L be the generator of the evolution semigroup associated with $\{U(t,s)\}_{t{\geq}s}$ on the phase space $P_{\tau}(X)$ of all ${\tau}$-periodic continuous X-valued functions. Some kind of variation-of-constants formula for the solution u of the equation $({\alpha}I-L)^nu=f$ will be given together with the conditions on $f{\in}P_{\tau}(X)$ for the existence of coefficients in the formula involving the monodromy operator $U(0,-{\tau})$. Also, examples of ODEs and PDEs are presented as its application.

This paper presents an implementation of a multi-channel speech surveillance system over telephone lines using TMS320C31 DSP chips. The incoming speech into each telephone line are first compressed simultaneously in real-time by the popular vector-sum excited linear predictive (VSELP) speech coding algorithm at the rate of 8 Kbps. The compressed steech bit streams are then multiplexed with those of other users. The multiplexed speech bit streams are transferred to the system storage equipments with some other required information so that a system operator can later monitor the stored speech data whenever it is necessary. The host program runs under Microsoft Windows95 for an efficient man-machine interface and a future upgrade-ability. We have confirmed that the overall 64-channel system operates satisfactorily in realtime. We also have checked approximately up to 2,880 total hours of recording capability of the system on a playback module and two removable backup drives.

Using Minimax principle and Linking theorem in critical point theory, we prove the existence of two nontrivial solutions for the following second order superlinear difference systems $$(P)\{{\Delta}^2x(k-1)+g(k,y(k))=0,\;k{\in}[1,\;T],\;{\Delta}^2y(k-1)+f(k,\;x(k)=0,\;k{\in}[1,\;T],\;x(0)=y(0)=0,\;x(T+1)=y(T+1)=0$$ where T is a positive integer, [1, T] is the discrete interval {1, 2,..., T}, ${\Delat}x(k)=x(k+1)-x(k)$ is the forward difference operator and ${\Delta}^2x(k)={\Delta}({\Delta}x(k))$.
