Review of the certified dental hygienist system in Japan (일본의 인정치과위생사 제도 고찰)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to review the definition, qualification conditions, accreditation field, and system of Japanese recognized dental hygienists. It is expected that it will be used as basic data for the system introduction of the Korean advanced dental hygienists. Methods: From May to November 2020, a literature review was conducted on Japanese dental hygienists and Japanese certified dental hygienists. Results: The lifelong education system training courses to become Japanese certified dental hygienists consisted of basic training, special training, and specific training. Each training session lasted for 15 h, and the number of training hours required to complete the course was 30 h. The training items for the field of recognition A were prevention of lifestyle disease, home care, oral function management, rehabilitation for dysphagia, prevention of diabetes, and oral management by medical and dental partnership. The training items for the field of recognition B were dentistry for the disabled, dentistry for the aged, community oral health, and oral health care. Conclusions: The Japanese recognized that dental hygienist system is valuable as a demonstration model in introducing the Korean advanced dental hygienist system.

A Comparison of Materialistic Values and Interpersonal Relationship between Adult University Students and General University Students (성인대학생과 일반대학생의 물질주의 가치관 및 대인관계와의 비교)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between materialistic values and interpersonal relationship of adult university students and general university students and compare the two groups. The analysis was conducted using the SPSS Statistics 25.0 program targeting 228 adult students and 216 general students enrolled nationwide. First, as for the difference in the materialistic values of the adult and general university students according to the general characteristics, significant differences were found according to gender, religion, the type of school, grade, monthly income (allowance), monthly expense, items of expenditure, and hobby. Second, the analysis of the difference in the interpersonal relationship based on their general characteristics revealed differences based on gender, grade, monthly income (allowance), monthly expense, items of expenditure, and hobby. Third, the research subjects' materialistic values and interpersonal relationship showed a high correlation. Fourth, their materialistic values had significant effects on all the sub-factors of interpersonal relationship. The results of this study implies that materialistic values have negative effects on interpersonal relationship in both adult and general university students.

Factors related to the pros and cons of 'Jol-hon' of workers : the application of discriminant analysis (직장인의 '졸혼' 찬반 관련 요인 : 판별분석의 적용)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate factors affecting the pros and cons of 'Jol-hon' among workers. For this purpose, 288 workers were surveyed in Chungnam area. The main result are as follows. First, there were positively significant correlation among a hope, growth mindset, and organizational communication. Second, according to the discrimination analysis, the lower the age, the unmarried, the lower the hope, and the lower the organizational communication, the more favorable the 'Jol-hon'. In the case of married persons, there was no difference between the groups favoring and rejecting 'Jol-hon'. In the case of unmarried people, the lower the organizational communication, the more favorable the 'Jol-hon'. Finally, this study will present the theoretical basis for studying 'Jol-hon' in the future and suggest the policy implications to solve middle and senior couple problems.

A Study on Developing Flipped-MOOC Model in University (대학에서의 Flipped-MOOC 모형 개발)

  • The purpose of this research is to make a Flipped-MOOC model which can be applied and practiced in the college course after analyzing the characteristics and cases of MOOC and Flipped learning. For this, this study implemented the following tasks. First, this study analyzed the management and class types of MOOC and flipped learning through literature research. Secondly, flipped learning was applied in the course for a semester and the strong point and weak point of the course was analyzed and the alternative was suggested. Thirdly, the core ideas and strategies of Flipped-MOOC model was deducted for enhancing the participation and interaction of the students in the course which uses the MOOC content and applies flipped learning, and the instructional strategies and direction for the effective management in the real educational field was suggested. As a result, Flipped-MOOC model is expected to contribute for the educational revolution, change and quality improvement, and it is expected that Flipped-MOOC model might contribute to the lifelong education and educational competitiveness.

  • This study examined the meaning of employees' university-graduate school experiences for job conversion. For it, date was collected and analyzed by in-depth interview for 7 employees with university-graduate school experiences from Jun. to Doc. 2018. As a result, 3 great ranges and 8 sub-factors of the meaning of employees' university-graduate school experience for job conversion. were drawn. First is the change of value changing new view and recognition. Second is confidence improvement, motivation, and psychological change recovering interests and aptitudes. Third is changes of actual life that obtain pleasure of leaning, formation of personal network, and family supports. From the above results, employees' university-graduate school experience may let them challenge new works with confidence and be analyzed as appearance of identity finding the work suitable for their aptitude and living a subjective life.

Mediating Effect of Work-family Balance on the Relationship between Anger and Organizational Commitment (한국 직장인의 일-가정양립이 분노와 조직몰입 간의 관계에 미치는 매개효과)

  • The current study is to examine the effects of anger and work-family balance on organizational commitment. Two-hundred workers attending the Institute of Lifelong Education at a University in Seoul completed the instruments assessing anger, work-family balance, and organizational commitment. The results from structural equation modeling analysis showed that anger was negatively related to work-family balance and organizational commitment, and work-family balance was positively related to organizational commitment. Moreover, the relationship between anger and organizational commitment was partially mediated by work-family balance. These findings suggest that a way to focus on both anger and work-family balance than only anger is more productive in order to boost organizational commitment.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the satisfaction of students, teachers, and smaller businesses who participate in the apprenticeship. To get answers, it analyzed students and teachers in 4 technical high schools in Daegu city and 4 technical high schools in small and midium sized city in Gyeongsangbuk-do province, and analyzed field teachers and people in charge in the smaller businesses which entered into the program. This study results are as follows. First, It is shown that participation in apprenticeship school is helpful for emplyment and that apprenticeship system is helpful for student's career choice because the respondents who are willing to make aggressive invitation to juniors are high. Second, Satisfaction with teachers was company discovery to be difficult, but the need for the system was relatively positively evaluated. Third, when it comes to the satisfaction of the smaller businesses, The participating companies's matter of primary concern is continuous business growth and they have will to participate in the apprenticeship program depending on the demand for manpower.

  • This study is to make suggestions on the type and operation of community life SOC projects suitable for the use of idle facilities in elementary and secondary schools. To this end, we analyzed the types and operation of desirable utilization facilities according to regional characteristics through the analysis of cases utilizing Japanese idle classrooms and closed schools. As a result of the study, in areas with excellent accessibility to residents such as old downtowns and towns, libraries, entrepreneurship counseling and exhibition spaces, and lifelong education centers were desirable as part of the residents' convenience facilities. It was found that the facilities that could be used with families, such as an experiential training center, were being utilized.

Development of Core Competency Model for Adult College Students (성인대학생의 핵심역량모형 개발)

  • This study aims to develop a core competency model for adult college students. For this purpose, the core competencies of adult college students were derived by analyzing domestic and foreign literature studies. And the Delphi survey was conducted for the validity of core competencies. The SPSS 18.0 program was used for analysis. As results of the analysis, there are 11 core competencies of adult college students derived: communication, problem-solving and meta, interpersonal, personal management and development, digital information literacy, major knowledge, citizenship, convergence, character, professional job, and global. The core competency model of adult college students was developed by assigning numbers from 01 to 11 based on the results of the Delphi survey. Core competencies of adult college students were organically linked, so the cultivation of one core competency affects other core competencies.

A Qualitative Study on the College Life Adaptation obstacle of Adult Undergraduate (성인대학생 대학생활적응장애에 관한 질적연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore what obstacles adult undergraduate experience in adapting to college life. To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted with 32 adult undergraduate attending colleges in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. For the study, Colaizzi's phenomenological research method was used and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, eight factors such as relation obstacle, bachelor's and curriculum operation obstacle, social recognition obstacle, study ability obstacle, college environment obstacle, economic obstacle, personal disposition obstacle, and temporal obstacle were found. Through the above research results, it was found that the college environment, which is operated mainly by general college students, is expressed as various types of obstacle for adult undergraduate who work and study at various ages and experiences. Based on the derived obstacle factors, it is expected that a follow-up study will be conducted to develop a measurement tool that can empirically explore the obstacle of adult undergraduate to adapt to college life.
