We investigated the characteristics of subjects in marine leisure activities and the wearing conditions of a rash guard through a consumer survey. The questionnaire examined the number of rash guards owned by different styles, wearing size, choice of rash guard compared with ordinary clothes, and the satisfaction in a rash guard (color, textile, size, quality, price, function, and design) using Likeret Scales. The subjects were 105 adult men and the data analysis utilized an SPSS 20.0 Package. The results were significant for wearing conditions correspondent with the marine leisure activities. More years of experience resulted in a higher number of rash guards owned. A higher level of participation in sport resulted in more different styles of rash guards. More years of experience resulted in an increase preference for tight rash guards. In the case of wearing L and XL size that selected the smaller rash guard over the ordinary clothes, it was evaluated at "satisfaction" level in color, textile, size, quality, function, design. In the case of wearing XS, S and M size that did the larger and same as ordinary, it was at "ordinary" level and bellow.

As Korea expanded the leisure time and improved national incomes, the interest and demand on marine leisure activities are increasing. However, most marina ports did not have port facilities to support these demands. This paper suggests the improvement for marina port based on researches and analysis of status on present domestic marina port and port facilities. This is for the improvement of marina management of user-centered marine leisure activities.

This study analyzes the operating conditions of domestic marinas in response to changes in coastal and marine leisure trends and demand for recreational boats, and suggests ways to improve services according to the types and functions of marinas. In order to popularize marine leisure and to foster coastal and marine tourism industry, the 'Act on the Development, Management, etc. of Marinas' was enacted in 2009 and 'The 1st Marina Basic Plan' was established, and more than 34 marinas are operated nationwide. In order for domestic marinas to be used as an infrastructure for marine leisure activities, measures for enhancing service functions should be prepared in accordance with the size and characteristics of marinas.

This study was initiated by the fact that Kangwon Land and large sized resorts was failed the financial benefit to the local residents. This research analyzed the best important tourist resource among the main tourist resource by perception interviewing local residents and related professionals. This study shows that the leisure resource was most important resource field in Jeong-Seon. So more attention to the leisure resources and investment them. Among natural attraction resources 'Hwa-Ahm cave and Hwa-Ahm mineral water' is estimated to have most potential for the strategic financial support. In leisure sector 'High One resort' is judged to be more important attraction resource by professionals but a case of local residents 'Dong-gang Rafting' and 'Rail Bike' were estimated more important resources rather than 'High One resort;. Lastly, in cultural resources, although the importance is a bit behind natural attraction and leisure resources, 'Jeong-Seon 5th day market' and 'Araree village' should be the core linking other related cultural resources. In order to activate tour industry and development of Jeong-Seon area, it is necessary to find identify of regional owned attraction resources and to build tourist attraction infra structure by selecting core bases of existing major attraction points and linking other various resources to those core bases.

The significance of this study lies in the fact that it looks into the function of games as one of the important leisure activities at the moment when negative perception on overall game industry is becoming an obstacle in settlement of sound game culture. Game is one of the activities enjoyed in leisure time. The main positive effects of game were analyzed classifying them into 10 types including the stress relief and alleviation of tension, diverse identity experience and positive socialization experience, strengthening of self-respect and ideal self-realization, strengthening of independent thinking and problem-solving capacity, motivation for learning, enhancement in physical capacity, decrease in aggressive tendencies, cultivation of awareness on equality, increase in familiarity with the civilization of technology, and strengthening of individuality based on diversity.

With the recent rapid growth in the number of people who enjoy marine and leisure activities in Korea, the marine leisure industry faces good opportunities for development. Korean brands are in between them. In this situation, new and innovative products related to an inflatable tube, which is one of the most popular marine leisure items, will help to increase sales of domestic companies and to pioneer a new market. Research methods are largely divided into 4: investigation, analysis & synthesis, development and evaluation. This paper introduces a "tube cushion" which is an inflatable tube covered by fabrics. It can be functioned at home 365 days a year as a cushion or a children's plaything. Tactile fabrics, neoprene and air-mesh, are used as the cover with a zipper, making it easy to open and close. Moreover, by putting together tubes and connecting them with snap fastener attached straps, the cushion can be transformed into a chair, a table, a tunnel, a train, and so on, serving as a creative plaything for children. With this paper, it is expected that new and innovative items differentiated from others, like this crossover tube cushion, will help to create a 'Blue Ocean' market for the marine leisure industry from the long-term perspective.

In this paper, we tackled the marine leisure business of the archipelago at the southwest sea area which has the natural advantage for marine leisure. We also discuss how to adapt the yacht business on the above area. At first, we will introduce the predominant case on the marine leisure business of the overseas. Next we will analyze the current situation of the domestic marine leisure and draw up a plan to solve its problem. Finally we apply an environment friendly marina establishment to the archipelago at the southwest sea area and evaluate its validity.

Song stream is located in the upstream of the Namhan River. Normal times, the stream flows down to the east sea through the drainage pipe but at rainy season, it flows to the Namhan River. There are large stock farm, leisure town and cultivated land in this basin. The pollutants from these contamination source cause eutrophication at lake Doam and deterioration of water quality in namdai stream. In this case, this study was carried out to evaluate water quality and environmental capacity as well as economical efficiency of each industry. The basin shape factor of subject stream was 0.315, slope is higher than usual basin. The BOD, T-N and T-P productive contamination loading from each contamination source was 2,690, 974 and 194 kg/day, respectively, and major contamination source was stock farm and cultivated land. Annual BOD, T-N, T-P distribution(median value) of Song stream showed 1.0~2.2 mg/L, 3.16~5.85 mg/L and 0.024~0.197 mg/L Doam lake showed 1.1~1.9, 2.51~3.89 and 0.042~0.114 mg/L, respectively. Being compared of water quality at main stream between past and present, it showed that the water quality has improved since last five years. BOD improvement rate was 8~50%. Run off loading of BOD, T-N, T-P was 366, 1129, 17.2 kg/day, and run off rate was 13.6%, 86.2%, 11.3% respectively. Finally, the result of productivity survey of each industry, leisure town, cultivated land and large stock farm was 118, 46, 50 billion won, per T-P 1kg productive, and productivity portion was 100, 39, 42% respectively, and the highest economical efficiency industry was leisure facilities.

This study aimed to investigate the formation of the social perception of domestic maritime sports using text mining analysis of keywords and topics from domestic media coverage over the past 10 years related to representative maritime sports, including yachting, rowing, and canoeing. The results are as follows: First, term frequency (TF) and word cloud analyses identified the top keywords: "maritime," "competition," "experience," "tourism," "world," "yachting," "canoeing," "leisure," and "participation." Second, semantic network analysis revealed that yachting was correlated with terms like "maritime," "industry," "competition," "leisure," "tourism," "boat," "facilities," and "business"; rowing with terms like "competition" and "Chungju"; and canoeing with terms like "maritime," "competition," "experience," "leisure," and "tourism." Third, topic modeling analysis indicated that yachting, rowing, and canoeing are perceived as elite sports and maritime leisure sports. However, the perception of these sports has been demonstrated to have little impact on society, public opinion, and social transformation. In summary, when considering these results comprehensively, it can be concluded that yachting and canoeing have gradually shifted from being perceived as elite sports to essential elements of the maritime leisure industry. Contrariwise, rowing remains primarily associated with elite sports, and its popularization as a maritime leisure sport appears limited at this time.

Petrochemicals contain a wide variety of monomers and their derivatives which are used in the production of plastics, fibers and synthetic rubber. Until now, petrochemicals have had a dramatic impact on our food, clothing, shelter and leisure because they are the least expensive, most readily available, and can be processed most easily into the end use products. Petrochemical industry, which is known as one of the typical cycle profitability businesses, is now moving downward. In order to overcome the anticipated loss of profit, petrochemical companies are making an effort to offer a value-added upgrading to conventional products. This lecture will discuss a few of issues on the current status and prospect of petrochemical industry.
