Analysis of the difference between teaching & learning satisfaction and achievement of students financially supported and not supported by university

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there is a financial incentive effect by analyzing the difference of educational performance between the specialization department students who receive financial support and the students who do not receive support. This study collected survey data of 334 students including 290 students who were financially supported and 44 students who were not financially supported. Through the collected data, frequency analysis and descriptive statistics analysis were performed on the general characteristics of the subjects. T-test was conducted to analyze the difference of teaching & learning performance between students with financial support and those who did not, and then the difference analysis by grades was F-test. The average value of the subjects' teaching & learning satisfaction scores was 2.99, and the result was higher than that of the female students. The higher the age, the higher the grade, the higher the grade, the higher the financial support students were. The average of teaching & learning achievement composition items of the survey subjects was 2.27, and it was found that male students, older students, and students who received financial support had higher average of teaching & learning outcomes than students who did not receive financial support respectively. Students who receive financial support have higher teaching & learning satisfaction and outcomes than students who are not financially supported. The longer the period of financial support, the older the better, and the male students are more satisfied with the teaching & learning, the better the teaching & learning.

기업의 e-Learning에 대한 학습효과 및 전이에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing the Learning Effectiveness and Transfer of e-Learning in Business Organlizations)

  • The recent development of IT, consolidation of communication and multimedia technology have brought enormous changes in many organizations. Theses changes are enabling the new educational opportunities such as distance teaming and virtual class room. Recently, e-Learning has grown rapidly in business training field, In the context of companies, e-Learning has merits in terms of access convenience, costs reduction self-directed learning, reciprocity, and flexibility. In this regard, the primary purpose of this study is to investigate which factors of e-Learning influence the effectiveness of education and transfer of loaming in business organizations. Based on the prior studies of the education and business training field, research model and research hypotheses were developed. Factors studied in this paper were as follows: 1) learners' characteristics, 2) organizational support and 3) system environments. The results of our study are as follows. (1) Motivation perceived usefulness in Learner factors had an significant influence on both learning effectiveness and transfer of teaming, whereas Ability, expectation had an influence on transfer of teaming. (2) Support from peer, support from supervisor in Organization factors had an significant influence on both Loaming effectiveness and transfer of teaming, whereas support from organization had influence on learning effectiveness. (3) Appropriate contents in system circumstance had an significant influence on both teaming effectiveness and transfer of teaming, whereas interface design had an influence on learning effectiveness.

  • 본 연구는 학습조직화 사업에서 학습조직 구축수준이 학습조직화 사업 만족도에 미치는 영향과 강한 리더십의 조절효과를 검증하였다. 연구결과 학습조직 구축수준이 학습조직화 사업 만족도에 유의한 영향(p<.001, ${\beta}=.652$)을 미쳤으며 세부 요인별로 자아완성은 지식창출과 이전 및 재무적 성과에, 시스템사고와 팀학습은 학습인프라 구축에, 비전공유는 학습문화 및 활동 팀워크 및 네트워킹 재무적 성과에 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 상사의 강한 리더십에 따라 학습조직 구축수준의 팀학습 요인이 학습조직화 사업 만족도에 미치는 영향이 달라지는 조절효과가 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통해 학습조직 구축수준이 학습조직화 사업의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 밝힘으로써 학습이론과 실제 사업성과를 연결시켜 인과관계를 분석했으며 성공적인 학습조직 운영을 위한 시사점을 제공한 데 그 의의가 있다.

The Impact of State Financial Support on Active-Collaborative Learning Activities and Faculty-Student Interaction

  • Purpose - The goal of this study is to analyze the differences in education performances between students of the government's financial support program and those who do not receive support at a local university in Korea. Research design, data, and methodology - The questionnaire used was NASEL. NASEL is considered a highly suitable survey tool for professors, courses, and performances in Korean universities. The 290 students who participated and 44 students do not participate in the financial support program were surveyed for 10 days. The characteristics of students were investigated by frequency analysis and technical statistics. The analysis of student collective characteristics used independent t and f-tests,and one-way ANOVA with IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 for statistical purposes. Results - The p-value of the group receiving financial support and the group without financial support in active-collaborative learning is 0.167. The p-value of the economically supported group and the non-supported group of the faculty-student interaction is 0.281. The confidence coefficient of the active-collaborative learning questionnaire is 0.861. The reliability coefficient of the questionnaire for the faculty-student interaction questionnaire is 0.871. Conclusions - There are no clear differences in active-collaborative learning and faculty-student interaction between participating and non-participating students in the economic program.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the school parent and student's perception of Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics and to suggest plan to school parent of multicultural and learning disability families. The subjects of this study were elementary and secondary teachers who teaching Practical Arts or Technology Home Economics. The instrument of this study was questionnaire including five sections: influence on students by Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics, interest in Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics to school parents, school support with learning ability improvement, school parents support with home in Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics, data form of school parents support with home in Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics. The findings of this study were as follows; Sociality development of students is influential by Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics. School parents and students believe important subjects in Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics. Teachers ask for support with learning ability improvement for practical training space and programs in Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics. School parents ask for support with learning ability improvement of programs of teaching learning method for home education on Practical Arts and Technology Home Economics.

성인대학생의 사회적지지와 대학교육서비스품질이 학습몰입에 미치는 영향: 학습동기의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Impact of Adult College Students' Social Support and Service Quality of University Education on Learning Engagement: Focusing on Medium Effect of Learning Motivation)

  • 본 연구는 성인대학생의 사회적지지, 대학교육서비스품질, 학습몰입의 관계에서 학습동기의 매개효과를 검증하여 성인대학생의 학습효과 향상과 학습촉진 강화를 위한 학습체계 구축에 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 대구광역시와 경상북도에 위치한 2~3년제와 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 성인대학생 573명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회적지지와 학습몰입의 관계에서 학습동기는 부분 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학교육서비스품질과 학습몰입의 관계에서 학습동기는 완전 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과는 성인대학생의 학습몰입을 높이기 위해서는 다양한 지지체계 구축과 교육서비스 향상을 위한 지속적인 개발과 노력이 필요하다는 것을 시사한다.

유아코딩교육에 관한 원장의 지지, 보육교사의 학습공동체 참여 및 코딩교육 실행 의도 간의 구조적 관계 (The Effects of a Childcare Center Director's Support for Coding Education on the Intention of Childcare Teacher's Participation in Learning Communities and the Intention to Implement Coding Education.)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of a director's support for coding education perceived by childcare teachers on the participation of teachers in the learning community and the intention to implement coding education. Methods: The participants of this study were 312 early childhood teachers working at daycare centers in Seoul, Gyeong-gi, and In-cheon area. The data were collected through the survey questionnaires and analyzed using a structural model to explore the relationship between variables. Results: Verifying the mediating effect of infant teacher participation in the learning community between a director's support and infant teacher's intention to implement coding education positively mediates the director's support and infant teacher's intention to implement coding education. In particular, it was discovered that the intention to participate in coding-related learning communities had the greatest impact on infant teachers' intentions to implement coding education based on total effectiveness. Conclusion/Implications: The above analysis results suggest that in order to enhance the intention of infant teachers to implement coding education, it is necessary to support the learning community related to coding education and encourage participation from infant teachers.

  • 유비쿼터스 시대에서 새로운 교육형태인 유러닝(Ubiquitous Learning: U-learning)은 언제(Anytime) 어디서나(Anywhere) 어떠한 형태의 네트워크를 이용하여(Any Network) 어떠한 단말기로도(Any Device) 정보의 전달이 가능한 새로운 교육형태이다. 유러닝은 무선인터넷과 휴대단말기의 발달과 더불어 더욱 진화되고 있으며, 대중화되고 있다. 유러닝 지원시스템(U-learning Support System: ULSS)은 유러닝을 지원하는 포괄적인 시스템이다. 한편 최근들어 스마트폰(Smart Phone도 급속히 대중화되고 있으며, 교육 분야의 활용에도 각광을 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트폰 환경에서의 유러닝지원시스템을 정의한다.

A Proposal for Developing a Situated Learning Support Systems-Based on an MMORPG

  • The primary purposes of this study are to develop a Situated Learning Support System based on an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) and to investigate applications of Situated Learning theory both hypothetically and practically. In Situated Leaning theory, cognition is interpreted as a dynamic system related to situation, context and activity. According to this theory, learning context, social interaction and personal direct experience are also emphasized. A virtual reality learning system based on an MMORPG provides context, social interaction and a learning environment able to provide direct experiences. However, such a system has been difficult for teachers to develop. This study aims to develop a support system facilitating the construction of a Situated Learning System based on an MMORPG. This study proposes new research and practical applications of Situated Learning theory using educational games.

전문대학 공학계열 컴퓨터수업에서 학업만족도와 학업성취도 관련변인 연구 (Prediction of Academic Satisfaction and Academic Achievement Variables in Computer Education of Engineering College Class)

  • The purpose of the present study is to examine prediction of perceived usefulness of learning, school support and learning flow on academic satisfaction, academic achievement and absenteeism in computer education of engineering college. To meet the purpose of the present study, D university was chosen and, two surveys were conducted among the engineering students enrolled in the computer application class. The results of this study through multiple regression analysis indicated that perceived usefulness of learning and school support predicted significantly on satisfaction(${\beta}$ = .53, ${\beta}$ = .21), In addition, perceived usefulness of learning and learning flow predicted significantly on achievement(${\beta}$ = .23, ${\beta}$ = .24), but absenteeism didn't predict significantly on any variables in this study. The results of this study suggested that perceived usefulness of learning, school support and learning flow should be considered as the important elements for designing instructional courses to enhance students' satisfaction and achievement in college education.
