Objectives: To construct a structural equation model to explain and predict nursing performance in advanced beginner-stage nurses. Methods: This study was conducted from September 1 to October 10, 2017. Participants in this study were 220 nurses recruited from general hospitals with over 300 beds in P and K cities. Confirmatory factor and path analyses were conducted using AMOS 18.0. Results: Nursing performance was affected by self-leadership and self-efficacy; self-efficacy (${\beta}=.794$, p=.025) had a greater effect. Problem-solving competency was affected byself-leadership and self-efficacy ;self-efficacy(${\beta}=.712$, p=.016) had a greater effect. Self-leadership was affected byself-efficacy(${\beta}=.820$, p=.013). Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that a new program be developed and applied to improve advanced beginner-stage nurses' self-leadership and self-efficacy to enhance nursing performance.
The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of personal image on self-leadership. The experimental study showed relationship between the variables of personal image and self-leadership by using personal image questionnaires and a revised self-leadership questionnaire both extracted from the literature study. The results of this study are as follows. First, six factors of self-leadership were drawn as the reliability and validity of were verified. The factors of self-leadership and the components for personal images showed a significant correlation. Second, the satisfaction rates of the components for personal image showed significant effects on three factors(performed successfully imagination, self-set goals, as well as belief and assumption analysis) of self-leadership. Third, significant results were obtained from the analysis of differences in self-leadership according to the levels of satisfaction on the components of personal image. These are expected to have effects on self-leadership between the groups for some factors(performed successfully imagination, self-set goals, belief and assumption analysis, self-reward, self-cues).

Purpose: This study considers the variables related to self-leadership of Korean nursing students and verifies the results of precedent studies through meta-analysis. Methods: This study selected a total of 48 precedent studies regarding the investigation of the correlation between variables related to self-leadership of nursing students conducted between 2009 and 2019 and carried out a meta-analysis. Results: For the effect size of variables related to self-leadership of nursing students, individual characteristics had a medium effect size (ESr=.49) and the effect size was larger for meta-cognition (ESr=.65), emotional intelligence (ESr=.58), and self-efficacy (ESr=.54). The characteristics of nursing competency (ESr=.45) also had a medium effect size and the effect size was larger for professional self-concept (ESr=.60), social support (ESr=.58), and critical thinking (ESr=.56). This result shows that individual characteristics were highly correlated with self-leadership compared to the characteristics of nursing competency. Conclusion: This study is significant in that it verified the effect of variables related to self-leadership and presented the direction and preliminary data for a follow-up study. It is necessary to include variables considering individual characteristics in the development of an educational program for improving self-leadership in the future.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between children's gender role attitude measured by component model and social competency. Subjects were 232 elementary school children: 113 4th graders and 119 6th graders. The main results were as follows. First there were significant differences in mean scores of gender role attitude with age and sex variable. And among three dimensions of component model(i.e, gender label-component links within-component links between-component links) the difference was most discriminant in gender label-component links. Second there were significant relationship between gender role attitude and social competency. Among three dimensions of gender role attitude the most predictor variable for social competency was gender label-component links. The results were obtained. Second, the hypothesis 2 manager's leadership type (individual consideration: H21-1, intellectual stimulation: H2-2, charisma: H2-3, conditional compensation: 2-4, expected compensation: H2-5) is based on job satisfaction. As a result of verifying the impact relationship, all showed significant effect on job satisfaction. Third, it acted as a positive factor in the job satisfaction of the leader of the hypothesis 3-member organizational member. The hierarchical multiple regression analysis shows the following results. The communication competency of respondents turned out to be significantly higher in following groups: a group in which ego-resilience is higher, a group in which inkling is higher, and a group in which self-leadership is higher. The results show explanatory power of 57.0%.
