빌헬름 볼러트의 주택 작품에 나타난 공간적 특성에 관한 연구 - 프로그램 구성, 공간구축, 다차원적 경험을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Spatial Characteristics in the Residential Designs by Vilhelm Wohlert - Focusing on Program Composition, Spatialization, Multidimensional Experience -)

  • Vilhelm Wohlert is the Danish architect who designed Louisiana Museum of Modern Art near Copenhagen. Because of Louisiana Museum's popularity, Vilhelm Wohlert's name was started to be aware since 1990s. Although he is a well-known architect in Denmark, unfortunately his name is unknown in other countries. He designed various design projects from small scale furniture design to large scale museum and public projects. There are three programmatic categories in his architecture: exhibition programs including Louisiana Museum, residential program including private houses, and public programs including churches and schools. This thesis focuses on his residential design projects. Even though he designed a multi-family houses, Wohlert's house design consists of mainly one-off large private houses located in a nice natural environment. In chapter 3, the general history of his house projects was studied. Among them, the first exhibition house for Forum was explained more deeply to show Wohlert's early house design philosophy. In chapter 4, three built house projects were analyzed in detail. Analytical diagrams were used to show the key elements in the residential space. They are program composition, circulation, spatialization elements, final construction. His buildings have been compared with Alvar Aalto, Frank Lloyd Wright, and other Scandinavian architects. But there are some major differences that make Wohlert's design unique. In chapter 5, the case analysis results were summarized together to highlight the specific design characteristics found in Wohlert's residential design process. The universal spatial quality found in his residential projects can be applied in contemporary spatial designs.

  • 오늘날 건설수요는 고도화, 프로젝트의 대형화, 공사여건의 복잡화와 같은 외부환경에 의해 변하고 있다. 이에 정부에서는 외부환경의 변화에 적절히 대응하고자 선진화된 발주방식을 도입하였다. 그러나 이러한 의도와는 달리, 기 발주된 프로젝트에서는 발주방식별 장${\cdot}$단점 등이 효과적으로 나타나지 못하고 있다. 이러한 원인은 사업의 기획단계에서 발주방식을 선정할 때 사업의 특성을 충분히 반영하지 못하는 현재의 "대형공사 입찰방법 심의기준"에서 그 원인을 찾을 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 프로젝트의 특성에 따른 적절한 발주방식을 적용하기 위하여 발주방식 선정기준을 위한 모델을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 다수의 시설물을 보유한 기관에서는 유지보수와 리모델링(M/R) 프로젝트들이 동시에 진행되고 있다. 내부기능인력에 의해 프로젝트를 수행하는 자원제약 환경에서 프로젝트 관리자는 각 프로젝트의 완료일과 기관내 가용한 자원에 대한 제한을 고려하며 프로그램을 계획하고 관리하게 된다. 다중 자원제약 M/R 프로그램의 효과적 관리를 위해 이 논문은 장기적인 프로그램 계획축과 단기적인 일정창으로 구성되는 2단계 계층관리모델을 제안한다. 프로그램 플랜을 위한 연동계획기법은 연속되는 프로젝트 요청의 불확실성에 대처하기 위해 제안되었다. 일정창 속에서 마스터-일정계획을 수립하기 위해 개발된 PCR 일정계획 알고리즘은 M/R 프로그램에서의 작업반내 기능인력의 배치계획을 제공한다. 스프레드쉬트 인터페이스를 활용하여 M/R 프로그램의 일정계획 시스템을 개발하였고, 연속된 3개의 일정창으로 설계된 시뮬레이션 실험을 통해 개발된 일정계획 알고리즘과 기존의 자원제약 일정계획 휴리스틱의 성능을 비교하였다.

Next-generation gene targeting in the mouse for functional genomics

  • In order to elucidate ultimate biological function of the genome, the model animal system carrying mutations is indispensable. Recently, large-scale mutagenesis projects have been launched in various species. Especially, the mouse is considered to be an ideal model to human because it is a mammalian species accompanied with well-established genetic as well as embryonic technologies. In 1990', large-scale mouse mutagenesis projects firstly initiated with a potent chemical mutagen, N-ethyl-N-nitrosourea (ENU) by the phenotype-driven approach or forward genetics. The knockout mouse mutagenesis projects with trapping/conditional mutagenesis have then followed as Phase II since 2006 by the gene-driven approach or reverse genetics. Recently, the next-generation gene targeting system has also become available to the research community, which allows us to establish and analyze mutant mice carrying an allelic series of base substitutions in target genes as another reverse genetics. Overall trends in the large-scale mouse mutagenesis will be reviewed in this article particularly focusing on the new advancement of the next-generation gene targeting system. The drastic expansion of the mutant mouse resources altogether will enhance the systematic understanding of the life. The construction of the mutant mouse resources developed by the forward and reverse genetic mutagenesis is just the beginning of the annotation of mammalian genome. They provide basic infrastructure to understand the molecular mechanism of the gene and genome and will contribute to not only basic researches but also applied sciences such as human disease modelling, genomic medicine and personalized medicine.

대규모 모듈러 건축 프로젝트 현장 시공 시 공장 생산량 및 현장 시공량 관리 모델 (Quantity Management Model for Manufacturing and Assembly of Large-scale Modular Construction Projects during Construction Phase)

  • 모듈러 건축은 공장 생산 과정을 토해서 품질과 정확도를 향상 시킬 수 있고 같은 유닛을 반복적으로 만들어내기 때문에 대규모 생산과 비용 절감이 가능하다. 특히, 현장 작업과 공장 생산을 동시에 진행 할 수 있기 때문에 공기 단축이 가능하다. 그러나 실제 모듈러 건축 프로젝트 조사 보고서에 따르면 모듈러 건축과 기존 건축의 평균 공사 기간에서는 큰 차이를 보이고 있지 못하다. 이는 모듈러 건축 프로젝트의 실제 시공 시 발생하는 공기 지연 문제 때문이다. 따라서 실제 시공 시 공기 지연 방지를 위한 대안 선택이 필요하며, 특히 대규모 모듈러 건축 프로젝트 현장 시공의 경우 현장에서의 모듈 양중 및 조립 과정이 공장 생산과 동시에 진행되기 때문에 대안 파악이 공장과 현장을 동시에 고려하여 수행되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 규모에 따른 모듈러 건축의 실제 시공 시 프로세스의 차이를 토대로 IDEF0 모델링을 통하여 대규모 모듈러 건축의 관리 요소를 파악하였고 이를 이용하여 공기 지연을 판단할 수 있는 공장 생산량과 현장 시공량 관리 모델을 개발하였다. 이를 이용하여 대규모 모듈러 건축 실제 시공 시 발생하는 공기 지연 문제를 감소시킬 수 있을 것이다.

소규모 건축공사의 적정 실적공사비 단가보정 모델 개발 (Development of an Unit Cost Modification Model for Proper Actual Cost Data in Small Building Construction Projects)

  • 정부는 2004년부터 원가산정체계를 실적공사비 중심으로 전환하였다. 이러한 실적공사비는 계약단가를 기준으로 산정되며, 현재 10억원 이상의 공공 건설공사에 적용되고 있다. 그러나 대형공사 위주의 평균단가로 구성되어 있는 실적공사비를 10억원 미만의 소규모 건축공사에 직접적으로 반영하게 됨으로써 소규모 건축공사의 실행금액이 계약금액 이상으로 증가되는 경우가 빈번히 발생하고 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 이에 따른 영업이익의 감소로 기업운영 및 생산성 등에 악영향을 미치는 등과 같은 여러 문제들이 야기되고 있다. 따라서 10억원 미만의 소규모 건축공사에 실적공사비를 적용하기 위해서는 사업의 규모 등을 반영할 수 있는 단가보정 방안이 있어야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 실적공사비를 10억원 미만의 소규모 건축공사에 적용하는데 발생할 수 있는 단가적용의 문제를 해결하기 위하여 실적단가를 보정할 수 있는 실적공사비 단가보정 모델을 개발하였다. 이 모델은 소규모 건축공사의 생산성과 적정한 이윤을 책정하는데 도움을 줄 수 있으며, 소규모 건설업체의 경영이 악화되는 것을 방지할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 그리고 발주처는 예산편성 시 현실성 있는 공사비를 확보할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

지방자치단체·LH 협력사업 도출을 통한 거버넌스 구축방안 : 제주특별자치도를 대상으로 (Establishment of governance through development of LH cooperation project with local government: Focusing on Jeju Area)

  • Recently, as the paradigm of regional development has been transformed into characterization, decentralization and cooperation, small and medium scale development is in the spotlight. In particular, as the transfer of planning authority to local governments accelerates, LH is in the process of seeking to transform itself into a system that is in line with local government demand. The purpose of this study is to elaborate the regional pending projects that meet the demand of the region. The Jeju Special Self-Governing Province is the area where land and housing prices have increased more than three times recently, which is the area of interest in recent years due to the various demand for development projects. Another objective is to establish a local government based on LH's system, it is aimed to derive a collaboration method with local government, province corporation and local researchers. The criteria for deriving the cooperation projects between the local government and LH are basically the ones that can be carried out by LH and future-oriented projects. The process of deriving has undergone the process of statutory planning, unscrupulous plan analysis, and consultation of experts' advisory committees. In order to derive the regional cooperation project, four criteria such as local uniqueness, future possibility, business promotion efficiency, and local cooperation project were set. Major projects of the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province are improvement of the surrounding traffic system, construction of the hinterland due to the construction of the second airport, and establishment of Cruise Port(Jeju Port, Seogwipo Port). The role of each entity in the implementation of regional cooperation projects is as follows. Local government should request subsidies for the projects in case of lack of budget support and secure them through competition with other regions. In addition, it should be responsible for the operation and management of the facility once it has been supported and completed smoothly. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport affects each region through approval and subsidy of the development plan. After the development project is completed, it evaluates the development project through monitoring and plays a role of continuously improving the system. As a business operator, the provincial corporation will carry out small-scale projects including non-physical projects such as community participation. In the case of LH regional headquarters, the general manager of the region will establish a comprehensive business plan, secure development availability, and carry out large-scale growth promotion projects.

Methodology for Developing Standard Schedule Activities for Nuclear Power Plant Construction through Probabilistic Coherence Analysis

  • Nuclear power plant (NPP) constructions are large scale projects that are executed for several years, and schedule control utilizing various schedules is a critically important factor. Recently Korea independently developed the Advanced Power Reactor (APR) 1400 and is building nuclear facilities applying this new reactor type. The construction of Shin-Kori NPP (SKN) Unit 3, which adopted the APR1400, was completed and commercial operation has begun, while, SKN 4, Shin-Hanul NPP (SHN) Units 1&2, and SKN 5&6 are currently under construction. Prior to the development of the APR1400, Korea built 24 reactors and accumulated the schedule data of various reactor types which provided the foundation for schedule reduction to be possible. However, as there is no schedule development and review system established based on the standard schedule data (standard activities, durations, etc.) by reactor type, the process for developing the schedule for new builds is low in efficiency consuming much time and manpower. Also all construction data has been accumulated based on schedule activities. But because the connectivity of activities between projects is low, it is difficult to utilize such accumulated data (causes for schedule delay, causes for design changes, etc.) in new build projects. Due to such reasons, issues continue to arise in the process of developing standard schedule activities and a standard schedule for nuclear power plant construction. In order to develop a standard schedule for NPP construction, i) the development of an NPP standard schedule activity list, ii) development of the connection logic of NPP standard schedule activities, iii) development of NPP standard schedule activity resources and duration, and iv) integration of schedule data need to be performed. In this paper, an analysis was made on the coherence of schedule activity descriptions of existing NPPs by applying the probabilistic methodology on activities with low connectivity due to the utilization of the numbering system of four APR1400 reactors (SHN 1&2 and SKN 3&4).This study also describes the method for developing a standard schedule activity list and connectivity measures by extracting same and/or similar schedule activities.

국책사업 예비타당성조사 평가항목별 중요도 분석 - 댐 개발사업을 중심으로 - (The Analysis of Assessment Factors for Preliminary Feasibility Study of Dam Project in Korea)

  • Among large developmental projects, those of the government and public institutions with the total budget of more than 50billion wons can be executed only when the feasibility of the project has been testified through the procedure of preliminary feasibility study. Multi-purpose dams are public structures that can supply water, produce electricity, and control flood, they belong to large national projects that require legal evaluation procedures such as preliminary feasibility study and environmental impact assessment(EIA). The index that should be considered to be important in dam plan is the migration of residents in submerged district. The importance in the preliminary feasibility study is 4.93 points(98.6 in the scale of 100 at maximum). Among the 12 assessment elements of the policy and economy in the preliminary feasibility study, the element of environment assessment is turned out to be 4.68 points in the assessment importance (93.5 in the scale of 100 at maximum), which is the second in the total ranking and the first in the field of policy, indicating that the element is very important in dam construction planning.

석탄회를 활용한 CLSM의 동결융해에 의한 강도 특성 (The Strength Characteristics By Freezing and Thawing of Controlled Low Strength Material Using Coal Ash)

  • Recently, the land area for many people has been limited because of industrialization and modernization in Korea. The large-scale constructions like the reclamation development projects have been progressed to resolve this problem mentioned above. Therefore, as many of the usefulconstruction materials as possible are needed to perform the large-scale construction projects. Many studies for the utilization of pond ash which has a similar characteristic of sand have been conducted and there has been often occurred many structural problems on roadbed in winter. Therefore, the characteristics of the freezing and thawing for Controlled Low-Strength Material (CLSM) using pond ash were analyzed and evaluated by unconfined compressive strength test in this study. As a result of this study, it was confirmed that new CLSM using pond ash with cement (8.2% by weight)was able to stand for the freezing and thawing behavior.
