This study is aimed to assess the general population's attitude toward the continuity of medical care and its related factors. Self administered questionnaire was performed on the 1,120 office workers in the C city, Gang-won province. The questionnaire included the attitude of the continuity of medical institute, the intention of medical service use on a given case, and the variables of the related factors. 58.8% of the total respondents agreed to sustaining treatment without changing medical institutes; on the other hand, 41.2% showed negative attitude. In case that a patient would gain a recommendation of a surgery, hospitalization, or a specific examination, the total respondents' 84.9%, 61.8%, and 50.8% of each recommended situation said that they would visit another doctor and gain a diagnosis. As a result of multiple logistic analysis of determinant factor on continuity, reliability of doctors was statistically significant factor. In order to reduce wastefully used medical resources and offer well-qualified medical service, a system of second opinion among peer group or beforehand agreement could be possibly adopted. In addition, improving the image and reliability of a doctor could be an important factor to make better the behavior of medical service shopping; therefore, an effort to improve the relationship between a doctor and a patient, and restore the reliability of doctors should be paralleled.

This study investigates English medium instruction (EMI) in an institution of higher education in Seoul, Korea to see whether this course creates cultural correction (reproduction of inequitable relations of power in EMI settings) or cultural continuity (opportunities for transporting students into a third space and enabling them to explore cultural diversity and to create new knowledge for themselves). A single site where EMI is carried out, a class on fairy tales and child education taught by a native English speaking professor, was chosen because it was hypothesized that the professor would display some of her unconscious dominant cultural orientation. The results of the study show that there more cases of cultural correction than there were of cultural continuity. Cases of cultural correction included lack of knowledge about the local context, fixing Korean classroom discourse as if it were American classroom discourse, and reproducing orientalism in the local educational setting. Cases of cultural continuity included using comparison to consider the cultural reality of the milieu, creating new knowledge for the local milieu, and learning as a dynamic ongoing process. Implications of this research are discussed including the important realization that EMI should be managed by subject specialists who are trained in language education and have knowledge of the students' needs and discourse in the L1 and in the local context.

In this paper, we show that for a pure hyponormal operator the analytic spectral subspace and the algebraic spectral subspace are coincide. Using this result, we have the following result: Let T be a decomposable operator on a Banach space X and let S be a pure hyponormal operator on a Hilbert space H. Then every linear operator ${\theta}:X{\rightarrow}H$ with $S{\theta}={\theta}T$ is automatically continuous.

The aim of this paper is to study and find characterizations of quasi-fuzzy continuous and quasi-fuzzy closed mappings between fuzzy bitopological spaces. The notion of quasi-fuzzy open sets is used to defined quasi-fuzzy Ti (i=0, 1, 2) and quasi-fuzzy regular spaces and these spaces are investigated under quasi-fuzzy continuity. Finally, quasi-fuzzy connectednss is introduced and studied to some extent.

Using data collected from franchisees from Busan, we empirically examined the relationship both structural (tie strength), relational (trust), and cognitive (shared value) of social capital and between those dimensions and the patterns of economic performance and noneconomic performance (relationship continuity intention). So we established 9 hypotheses to test the structural relationship among dimensions of social capital and performances like below. H1: A franchisee's perceived tie strength with its franchisor will positively influence its trust in the franchisor. H2: A franchisee's perceived shared value with its franchisor will positively influence its trust in the franchisor. H3: A franchisee's perceived tie strength with its franchisor will positively influence its economic performance. H4: A franchisee's perceived shared value with its franchisor will positively influence its economic performance. H5: A franchisee's perceived trust in its franchisor will positively influence its economic performance. H6: A franchisee's perceived tie strength with its franchisor will positively influence its relationship continuity intention with the franchisor. H7: A franchisee's perceived shared value with its franchisor will positively influence its relationship continuity intention with the franchisor. H8: A franchisee's perceived trust in its franchisor will positively influence its relationship continuity intention with the franchisor. H9: A franchisee's perceived economic performance will positively influence its relationship continuity intention with the franchisor. The conceptual model specifying the relationship among dimensions of social capital and performances is presented in Fig. 1. Tests of the hypotheses were performed using a structural equation model. This model also reflected a good fit to the data ($\chi^2$=101.12 df=62 p=0.004, RMSEA=0.050 GFI=0.936 AGFI=0.895 NFI=0.959 CFI=0.986). The standardized solution estimated by the AMOS 7 program was for interpreting the structural results (Table 1). As was expected, tie strength and shared value were founded to be significant predictors of trust (H1 supported; H2 supported). Tie strength and trust have a significant positive effect on economic performance (H3 supported; H5 supported). But shared value have not a significant effect on economic performance (H4 Rejected). Tie strength were not associated with relationship continuity intention (H6 Rejected). While on the other higher shared value, trust, and economic performance have a significant effect on the relationship continuity intention (H7 supported; H8 supported; H9 supported). The results show integratedly that, first, tie strength does not affect directly but affects indirectly on relationship continuity intention via trust and economic performance. Second, shared goals affect directly and do indirectly via trust on relationship continuity intention. But shared goals does not affect via economic performance on relationship continuity intention. Finally, the study suggests important implications for both research and practice for franchise system especially.

Since the late of 20th Century, philosophy, art, and aesthetics have attention to the movement of object that persue the dynamics and qualitative change, not existing fixed and quantitative object. Qualitative continuity, including discontinuity of specific spot and surface that occurs sudden change, is distinct characteristics considered in contemporary logo civilization, which combines and disperses according as various purpose among the different elements and objects. Therefore, I studied about the characteristics of qualitative continuity that creates the change and the differentiation continuously through the "formative characteristics of the continuity expressed in contemporary fashion" of my preceding paper. This paper is the following study of above mentioned paper, and Investigates about aesthetic consciousness leading to the various change. This is intends to consider the trans-aesthetic consciousness that accepts dynamic movement and change the different object and reforms new relationship continuously. This studies' conclusion is as follows; 1) sublimity-Infinity, de-constructive, excessive 2) jouissance - functional, structural 3) paradox-perceptual, spatial. A study about the trans-aesthetic consciousness would help to offer philosophical basis, and make a change building aesthetic foundation in explaining various relationship like as phenomenon of the retro, neo, post, fusion expressed since the late of 20th Century.

In this paper, we introduce a Stancu type generalization of genuine LupaŞ-Beta operators of integral type. We establish some moment estimates and the direct results in terms of classical modulus of continuity, Voronovskaja-type asymptotic theorem, weighted approximation, rate of convergence and pointwise estimates using the Lipschitz type maximal function. Lastly, we propose a king type modification of these operators to obtain better estimates.

In this paper, we first consider the existence and regularity of solutions of the semilinear control system under natural assumptions such as the local Lipschtiz continuity of nonlinear term. Thereafter, we will also establish the approximate controllability for the equation when the corresponding linear system is approximately controllable.

A $C^0$ FE model developed based on an efficient higher order zigzag theory is used for hygrothermal analysis of laminated composite plates. The $C^0$ FE model satisfies the inter-laminar shear stress continuity at the interfaces and zero transverse shear stress conditions at plate top and bottom. In this model the first derivatives of transverse displacement have been treated as independent variables to circumvent the problem of $C^1$ continuity associated with the above plate theory. In the present theory the above mentioned $C^0$ continuity of the present element is compensated in the stiffness matrix formulation by using penalty parameter approach. In order to avoid stress oscillations observed in the displacement based finite element, the stress field derived from temperature/moisture fields (initial strains) must be consistent with total strain field. Special steps are introduced by field consistent approach (e.g., sampling at gauss points) to compensate this problem. A nine noded $C^0$ continuous isoparametric element is used in the proposed FE model. Comparison of present numerical results with other existing solutions shows that the proposed FE model is efficient, accurate and free of locking.
