  • A low-cost and flexible potassium ion (K+) sensor was fabricated through a screen-printed process. Uniform and conformal coating of conductive inks was verified by scanning electron microscopy and optical microscopy measurements. The K+-sensors showed a high sensitivity, fast response time, and low detection limit. The sensitivity of K+-sensor was similar to that of both mechanically normal and bent states. The K+-sensor exhibited a good reproducibility with no hysteresis effect and excellent long term stability. In addition, the K+-sensor showed an excellent selectivity for K+ concentrations in the presence of other interfering cation ions. Successful measurements of K+ concentrations in sports drink samples were demonstrated by comparing K+ concentration values from K+-sensor to those of using a commercial K+-meter.

  • K-pop has gained its popularity all over the world, and its popularity is mostly concentrated in Asian countries. Korean wave which has started from Korean dramas has expanded its horizon to K-pop, which centers around idol singers since 2005. The K-pop's popularity is evident from fans imitating singers' dance moves, makeup, appearance, and even trying to learn Korean. This study tries to explore consuming behaviors of Asian K-pop consumers from China, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam, and the main reasons Asian consumers prefer K-pop over their own countries' pop. The study also analyzes on how K-pop influences K-pop consumers to build positive feeling toward Korea and give them intention to visit Korea. The results showed the differences among K-pop consuming behaviors, relationship among attributes of K-pop, positive feeling toward Korea, and intention to visit Korea among four Asian countries. Findings would be the stepping stone that could support K-pop to expand its market to other foreign countries.

  • This study investigates how adapting of K-IFRS effects NI and OCI affecting of credit rating on changing of the period and variable by using samples of around adapting of K-IFRS. First of all, after adapting of K-IFRS(2011-2013), it was noticeable that how NI affecting after adapting of K-IFRS(2007-2010) had been increased more than that of before affecting of K-IFRS. However, there was not a single difference in affecting OCI on credit rating comparing to the past of adapting of K-IFRS. Second, it seemed like NI affected more after adapting of K-IFRS(2011-2013). The first year of K-IFRS had bigger incremental effect than after adapting of K-IFRS. However, after adapting of K-IFRS, OCI affecting on credit rating had no ncremental effect. Third, it seemed like NI in the first year affected more than OCI on credit rating. After adapting(2012-2013) of K-IFRS, it seemed like NI and OCI do not affect on credit rating. To interpret this, NI and OCI affected the first year of adapting of K-IFRS; therefore, adapting of K-IFRS affected without affecting financial ratio on adapting credit rating. As the time goes on, it can be expected that adapting K-IFRS became stable; therefore, extra incremental effect will not be seen comparing to the early adaption. The implication of this study is when information users use credit rating, they have to concern of affecting of K-IFRS. This is because NI in financial ratio is affecting on credit rating.

  • The aim of this paper is to solve the open problem on product properties of digital covering maps raised from [5]. Namely, let us consider the digital images $X_1 {\subset}Z^{n_{0}}$ with $k_0-adjacency$, $Y_1{\subset}Z^{n_{1}}$ with $k_3-adjacency$, $X_2{\subset}Z^{n_{2}}$ with $k_2-adjacency$ and $Y_2{\subset}Z^{n_{3}}$ with $k_3-adjacency$. Then the reasonable $k_4-adjacency$ of the product image $X_1{\times}X_2$ is determined by the $k_0-$ and $k_2-adjacency$ and the suitable k_5-adjacency$ is assumed on $Y_1{\times}Y_2$ via the $k_1-$ and $k_3-adjacency$ [3] such that each of the projection maps is a digitally continuous map, e.g., $p_1\;:\;X_1{\times}X_2{\rightarrow}X_1$ is a digitally ($k_4,\;k_1$)-continuous map and so on. Let us assume $h_1\;:\;X_1{\rightarrow}Y_1$ to be a digital $(k_0, k_1)$-covering map and $h_2\;:\;X_2{\rightarrow}Y_2$ to be a digital $(k_2,\;k_3)$-covering map. Then we show that the product map $h_1{\times}h_2\;:\;X_1{\times}X_2{\rightarrow}Y_1{\times}Y_2$ need not be a digital $(k_4,k_5)$-covering map.

  • For two essentially bounded Lebesgue measurable functions 𝜙 and ξ on unit circle 𝕋, we attempt to study properties of operators $S^k_{\mathcal{M}({\phi},{\xi})=S^k_{T_{\phi}}+S^k_{H_{\xi}}$ on H2(𝕋) (k ≥ 2), where $S^k_{T_{\phi}}$ is a kth-order slant Toeplitz operator with symbol 𝜙 and $S^k_{H_{\xi}}$ is a kth-order slant Hankel operator with symbol ξ. The spectral properties of operators Sk𝓜(𝜙,𝜙) (or simply Sk𝓜(𝜙)) are investigated on H2(𝕋). More precisely, it is proved that for k = 2, the Coburn's type theorem holds for Sk𝓜(𝜙). The conditions under which operators Sk𝓜(𝜙) commute are also explored.

  • DuPont Teijin FilmsTM have developed engineered substrates for flexible electronics. Teonex(R) Q65 and Melinex(R) ST506/5004 are biaxially oriented semi-crystalline polyesters. Smooth planarised Teonex(R) Q65 and Melinex(R) ST506/504 emerge as suitable substrate materials for display backplanes and frontplanes. This contribution discusses the impact of applying a planariser coating to these films. Also, the effect of a more controlled finishing process treatment upon film shrinkage and CLTE is presented.

  • Let $\mathbb{Z}^n$ be the Cartesian product of the set of integers $\mathbb{Z}$ and let ($\mathbb{Z}$, T) and ($\mathbb{Z}^n$, $T^n$) be the Khalimsky line topology on $\mathbb{Z}$ and the Khalimsky product topology on $\mathbb{Z}^n$, respectively. Then for a set $X\;{\subset}\;\mathbb{Z}^n$, consider the subspace (X, $T^n_X$) induced from ($\mathbb{Z}^n$, $T^n$). Considering a k-adjacency on (X, $T^n_X$), we call it a (computer topological) space with k-adjacency and use the notation (X, k, $T^n_X$) := $X_{n,k}$. In this paper we introduce the notions of KD-($k_0$, $k_1$)-homotopy equivalence and KD-k-deformation retract and investigate a classification of (computer topological) spaces $X_{n,k}$ in terms of a KD-($k_0$, $k_1$)-homotopy equivalence.

  • For a family of graphs $\mathcal{H}$ and an integer k, we denote by $R^k(\mathcal{H})$ the corresponding k-Ramsey number, which is defined to be the smallest integer n such that every k-coloring of the edges of $K_n$ contains a monochromatic copy of a graph in $\mathcal{H}$. The local k-Ramsey number $R^k_{loc}(\mathcal{H})$ and the mean k-Ramsey number $R^k_{mean}(\mathcal{H})$ are defined analogously. Let $\mathcal{G}$ be the family of non-bipartite graphs and $T_n$ be the family of all trees on n vertices. In this paper we prove that $R^k_{loc}(\mathcal{G})=R^k_{mean}(\mathcal{G})$, and $R^2(T_n)$ < $R^2_{loc}(T_n)4 = $R^2_{mean}(T_n)$ for all $n\;{\ge}\;3$.
