As social distancing strengthened after the COVID-19 incident, people looked for things they could do alone. Additionally, as people have more financial resources, they purchase products they had previously considered purchasing, and the phenomenon of giving gifts to oneself has also appeared. Accordingly, this study analyzed fashion product reviews of KakaoTalk Gift, the service to exchange gift via SNS mobile app, to discover the phenomenon of self-gifting and the differences from interpersonal-gifting. For post-hoc data, in collected 18,354 pieces after excluding unnecessary data using a Python-based web crawling technique. The self-gifting behavior of KakaoTalk Gift different from the previous study for self-gift. Regardless of the gift-giving contexts, it determines that most self-gift products are material items. There are differences in product types and price levels when choosing gifts for others and oneself. As a self-gift, people typically buy luxury jewelry and branded bags/wallets to wear and show off. As interpersonal, among fashion products, people usually buy beauty products that reflect less personal tastes. When gift-giving to others, people buy products to appropriate prices to reduce the burden on both. When gift-giving to oneself, people buy wanted products regardless of the price. This study is significant because it suggests a new direction in self-gift research by limited online places to give gifts.
This study was conducted to investigate whether WGB (Work-Growth Balance), an area of WLB (Work-Life Balance) improves Interpersonal Harmony, Creative Effort and Innovative Behavior in the organization, and whether Interpersonal Harmony and Creative Efforts have indirect effects on the relationship between WGB and Innovative Behavior. To test the hypothesis of this study, PROCESS Macro by Hayes (2013) was used. The results showed that WGB, Interpersonal Harmony, and Creative Effort influenced Innovative Behavior and WGB were variables that influenced Interpersonal Harmony. The variables influencing Creative Effort turned out to be WGB and Interpersonal Harmony. The indirect effect of Interpersonal Harmony and Creative Efforts was also confirmed in the relationship between WGB and Innovative Behavior. In addition, the magnitude of the effect between parameters was examined through Process Macro analysis. It turned out that there is a synergy relationship between WGB, Interpersonal Harmony, Creative Efforts and Innovative Behaviors. In future, more researches on WGB among various industries as well as mediating variables are expected. Further research is needed to study the various parameters of WGB and innovation behavior, and to Balance of Work-Family and Balance of Work-Leisure.
Purpose: The role of sex role identity types and health promoting behaviors in relation to premenstrual symptoms and interrelatedness among the three variables were examined. Methods: A cross sectional descriptive study was employed with 327 female university students. KSRI, HPLP, and MDQ were used as measurement tools. Results: Four types of sex role identities were classified; undifferentiated(33.7%), androgyny (32.7%), masculinity(16.8%), and femininity(16.8%) in order. Premenstrual symptoms(F=3.11, p= .027) and health promoting behaviors(F=12.74, p= .000) were significantly different by sex role identity types. As determinants of premenstrual symptoms, health promoting behaviors for all subjects, stress coping for the feminine type, and interpersonal relationships for the undifferentiated type were identified. In discriminating between the feminine type and undifferentiated type, premenstrual symptoms and self responsibility were shown as significant factors. Conclusion: Interrelatedness among sex role identity, health promoting behaviors and premenstrual symptoms imply the importance of a psychosocial aspect in premenstrual symptoms. Therefore, these three variables should be applied more specifically for nursing assessment and management of women having premenstrual symptoms.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of appearance instrumentality on body satisfaction and appearance management behaviors by adolescent' sex. The subjects were 750 adolescents in Daejeon and Chungnam province. The research method was a survey and the measuring instruments consisted of appearance instrumentality, body satisfaction, appearance management behaviors, and subjects' demographics attributions. The data were analyzed by Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, factor analysis, cluster analysis, ${\chi}^2$ test, and t-test, using SPSS statistical program. The results were as follows. First, 3 dimensions(the utility of interpersonal relationship, social achievement and sexual partnership) were emerged on appearance instrumentality, and adolescents were divided into 2 groups(unreceptive and receptive group) by appearance instrumentality. Second, appearance instrumentality had significant effects on female adolescents' body satisfaction; receptive group was more dissatisfied with their bodies, especially weight, hip, abdomen, and body shape than unreceptive group. However, it had no significant effects on male adolescents' body satisfaction. Third, appearance instrumentality had many significant effects on male and female adolescents' appearance management behaviors. Especially, female receptive group had higher intention to perform professional care by a sliming club, beauty salon, and dermatology, and face plastic surgery than unreceptive group.
This study examines the relationships between elementary school students' multiple intelligences, prosocial behaviors, and school adjustments. The sample included 367 students from two elementary schools, and data were collected using the multiple-intelligence index, the prosocial behavior inventory, and the school adjustment index. A statistical analysis was conducted using t-test, a one-way ANOVA (Duncan's test), and a multiple regression analysis. According to the results, there were significant differences in the students' prosocial behaviors according to their multiple intelligences in terms of their sharing, kindness, cooperation, help, sympathy, and protection. In addition, there were significant differences in their school adjustments according to their multiple intelligence in terms of their adjustments to their teachers, friends, studies, and rules and events. The students' multiple intelligence was a significant predictors of their prosocial behaviors and school adjustments. In particular, their interpersonal intelligences, intrapersonal intelligences, and linguistic intelligences were significant predictors of their prosocial behaviors and school adjustments. These results suggest that elementary school students should be encouraged to develop their multiple intelligence to facilitate their prosocial behaviors and school adjustments.
As customers' participation in B2C e-commerce increases, customers are getting more involved in the delivery of services, which may even go beyond the completion of service transactions. To examine such proactive extra-role online customer behavior, we delve into organizational citizenship behavior framework, which has been recently extended to examine customer citizenship behavior (CCB) in the service market area. Although CCB is vital for online retailing success, MIS and e-commerce research efforts have generally focused on the customer's customer coproduction that are customer in-role behaviors. Moreover, although the effect of information created by anonymous strangers on other customers increase, interpersonal trust research have focused on only the relationship between a seller and a customer. Therefore, this study attempts to answer two research questions: What are motivational factors that affect CCB? How differently do the two kinds of interpersonal trusts (trust in online retailer and trust in customers) influence customers?
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of eHealth literacy on health promoting behaviors, thereby providing basic data for the development of interventions for health promoting behaviors among university students. Methods: Data were collected from 242 university students aged 19 and over in a university located in K province in South Korea. Participants responded to structured questionnaires in September 2018. eHealth literacy and health promoting behaviors were measured by eHealth Litaracy (EHL) and a translated version of the Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile (HPLP-II), respectively. The correlation between eHealth literacy and health promoting behaviors were analyzed using Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analysis was carried out to examine the influence of eHealth literacy on health promoting behaviors. Results: The participants had a moderate level of eHealth literacy with the greatest score recorded in the sub-domain of functional eHealth literacy and the lowest in the sub-domain of critical eHealth literacy. Female students and students who majored in healthcare had higher levels of eHealth literacy than male students and those with non-healthcare majors. The degree of health promoting behaviors was moderate or lower with the highest score being in the sub-domain of interpersonal support and the lowest in the sub-domain of health responsibility. Health promoting behaviors had significant relationships with eHealth literacy, exercise hours, subjective health status, and health concerns. Multiple regression analyses revealed that the participants engaged more in health promoting behaviors when they had greater eHealth literacy (β=.18, p<.001), interest in their own health (β=.33, p<.001), exercise hours (β=.18~.23, p<.001), and subjective health status (β=.17~.18, p=.007~.031). Conclusion: In order to facilitate health promoting behaviors of university students, interventions for health promoting behaviors need to be developed including strategies to improve competencies relevant to critical eHealth literacy and to increase exercise hours.

Purpose : This research is a descriptive study that aimed to identify the levels of health promotion behaviors, fatigue, and depression of nursing students and confirm the effect of health promotion behaviors on fatigue and depression. Methods : Data were collected from September 27 to October 15, 2021 through survey questionnaires on 178 nursing students of 2 universities in G-do who voluntarily agreed to participate. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0, the general characteristics of nursing students were analyzed by frequency and percentage, and the levels of their health promotion behaviors, fatigue, and depression of nursing students was analyzed by mean and standard deviation. The relationship among the health promotion behaviors, fatigue, and depression was analyzed by Pearson's Correlation Coefficient. Multiple regression analysis was performed for the effects of health promotion behaviors on fatigue and depression of nursing students. Results : The nursing students' health promotion behaviors averaged 2.25±.43 points out of 5, and for each sub-factor, interpersonal relationship was the highest at 2.66±.49 points and physical activity was the lowest at 2.01±.60 points. Fatigue was 4.89±1.02 points out of 7 and depression was 10.52±9.10 points out of 63. A statistically significant correlation was found among health promotion behaviors, fatigue, and depression. Health promotion behaviors that significantly affected fatigue were stress management (𝛽=-.263, p=.004) and physical activity (𝛽=-.208, p=.026), which showed 35 % explanatory power on fatigue. Health promotion behaviors that significantly affected depression were spiritual growth (𝛽=-.342, p=.002), and physical activity (𝛽=-.231, p=.016), which showed 31 % explanatory power for depression. Conclusion : This study is meaningful in that it provided basic data to develop an effective health promotion behavior program to prevent and manage nursing students' fatigue and depression, by identifying and analyzing the sub-factors of health promotion behaviors affecting their fatigue and depression.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to effects of education program of smoking prevention and cessation through the linkages between subjects on smoking knowledge, grit, health promoting behaviors of college students in some area. Methods: A non-equivalent control group pre-post test design was used. The intervention group received the education program for 6 weeks from October 1 to November 15, 2019. The control group lived only usual daily life. Results: t-test showed that Smoking Knowledge (t=3.78, p<.001) and grit (t=3.75, p<.001) were significant differences between the two groups. In terms of health promotion behaviors, total(t=2.89, p=.002) and physical activity(t=3.20, p=.002), health responsibility(t=3.90, p<.001), spiritual growth(t=1.99, p=.049), interpersonal relations(t=2.61, p=.010) were significant difference between the two groups, in other hands nutrition(t=0.89, p=.372) and stress management(t=1.69, p=.092) were no significant difference between two groups. Conclusions: the education program of smoking prevention and cessation through the linkages between subjects was founded to be an effective education program in improving smoking Knowledge, grit, health promoting behaviors of college students in some area.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of type D personality on health status and health promoting behaviors in middle-aged women. Methods: A cross-sectional study design was used with 220 middle aged women. All participants completed 3 measuring tools: a 14-item Type D Personality Scale, a 12-item Short Form Health Survey Questionnaire version 2, and Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile-version II. All were completed in November 2010. Results: The prevalence of type D personality was 34.5%. Type D women had significantly lower physical (p=.020) and mental health status (p<.001) compared with non-type D women. In addition Type D women reported significantly poorer performance of health responsibility (p=.015), physical activity (p=.001), nutrition (p=.027), spiritual growth (p<.001), interpersonal relations (p<.001) and stress management (p<.001) techniques in health behaviors than non-type D women. Conclusion: Type D personality is a vulnerability factor that affects health status and is associated with poor health promoting behaviors in middle aged women. Therefore, screening for Type D personality is important to detect women at risk for health status and quality of life in community settings in Korea.
