Teleoperating system has been developed for several decades, and many control schemes for it have been suggested. But the implementation for real application needs very simple but effective controller. In this paper, an advanced control scheme for this purpose is suggested, which is the combination of a modified internal model controller and variable filter for force reflection. And we verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme through the experiment. We use PUMA-560 as the slave robot, which is operated by velocity servo loop with geared motor. Both the responses of free motion and contact motion are shown.

In this paper, the problem of delay-dependent stabilization for singular systems with multiple internal and external incommensurate constant point delays is investigated. The condition when a singular system subject to point delays is regular independent of time delays is given and it can be easily test with numerical or algebraic methods. Based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach and the descriptor integral-inequality lemma, a sufficient condition for delay-dependent stability is obtained. The main idea is to design multiple memoryless state feedback control laws such that the resulting closed-loop system is regular independent of time delays, impulse free, and asymptotically stable via solving a strict linear matrix inequality (LMI) problem. An explicit expression for the desired memoryless state feedback control laws is also given. Finally, a numerical example illustrates the effectiveness and the availability for the proposed method.

This paper considers an active vibration control system based on pole placement incorporating the internal model principle when the system is subjected to disturbances which are generated by a linear dynamical system. Experimental results are presented which show the effectiveness of the method when the system is excited by a sine wave disturbance and system parameters are knwon. An adaptive control design is also discussed.

In general a hydraulic system which uses a single rod hydraulic as an actuator is modeled as a nonlinear system and reveals uncertain Parameter characteristics such as the density variation of hydraulic oil and is subject to load variations and severe disturbances during operation. A variable design-parameter fuzzy PID controller is adopted to solve these undesirable internal and external problems and its effectiveness is verified through computer simulations for control performance and real time control possibility.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the predictors influencing on educational intervention for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) after analyzing the relationship among teachers' internal-external locus of control, leadership type and educational intervention for ADHD. Methods: A cross sectional study design was conducted with 255 teachers in three schools located in D, K and Y city. The data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression using SPSS 20.0. Results: Internal locus of control showed significantly positive correlations with educational intervention for ADHD. Efficient leadership type, harmony-oriented leadership type showed significant differences in inefficient leadership type on educational intervention for ADHD. Significant factors of the educational intervention were efficient leadership type, harmony-oriented leadership type, task-oriented leadership type and internal locus of control that were explained by 20.0% (F=12.5, p<.001) of educational intervention for ADHD. Conclusion: Based on the findings of this study, it is necessary to have teacher's efficient leadership type focused on ADHD symptoms. Teachers need to enhance their positive domain of internal-external locus of control towards students with ADHD to increase the effectiveness of their educational interventions for ADHD.

Parameters in the internal combustion engines are variable depending on the operating points. Therefore, it is necessary to compensate for the uncertainties. Form this point of view, this paper gives a controller design method and a robust stability condition by LMI approach for engine torque control which satisfies the gives H$\infty$ control performance in the presence of physical parameter perturbations. To the end, the robustness of the system in the presence of perturbation is guaranteed in the all engine operating regions. Its effectiveness is demonstrated by simulation.

In robotics and other fields of engineering, techniques for artificial reality or virtual reality are focused on and studied extensively, e.g., virtual existence for tele-operator systems in robotics, and virtual reality of designed objects in architecture. In order to realize the system we should create physical stimulations according to internal models created by experiences in a human brain. The internal model does not have to have direct connections to the real world, however, the stimulation must be signals such that the internal model are retrieved in a human brain. In this paper we propose a technique for tele-virtual reality of dynamic mechanical models, which means that one dynamic mechanical model can be shared by peoples in distant places. Since a stability issue due to time delays arises in the system, we employed a scattering technique developed for a tele-operator system and a kind of passive adaptive controllers. Furthermore, restrictions due to a simple digital implementation of the scattering transformation are discussed and some conditions for stability are shown. The proposed method is applied to a remote tug of war system and the effectiveness is verified.

The research aims to measure the control procedures' effectiveness, followed by the University of Northern Borders employees. A questionnaire was developed and distributed to the target sample of financial and auditing affairs employees at the university, where the researcher followed the existing descriptive-analytical approach. The researcher relied on the field survey, and statistical analysis (spss) was used. The researcher has found that the control procedures used are highly efficient in reducing public money waste. The researcher has presented recommendations that may contribute to developing the work of oversight in combating waste of public money. These recommendations include: Increase the interaction between the General Oversight Office and the internal oversight departments at the University of Northern Borders, the incentives provided to the oversight and accounting staff for their efforts to combat public money waste. It encourages them to maintain public money and work to obliging employees to undertake training courses periodically to develop their skills and rehabilitate them in line with modern control procedures. Also, more studies and scientific research on the waste of public money and types of administrative and financial Corruption and the law in all state sectors and reach conclusions and recommendations will help decision-makers amend laws and regulations to serve the public benefit of the university and the state.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to construct the Organizational Effectiveness Model that explains and predicts the effectiveness of a nursing unit from the organizational-behavioral perspective. Furthermore, this study arms to develop a comprehensive organizational effectiveness model. Method : The subjects of this study consist of two groups: 455 nurses and 538 patients. Staff nurses who were employed and twenty patients from each ward in four university hospitals located in Seoul, Pusan and Kyungki were involved. Data were collected from October 4th to October 14th in 2000 by self-report questionnaire. Data were analyzed by the SAS for the general characteristics of the subjects, descriptive statistics, test for the reliability and correlations. Fitness of the hypothetical model were tested using Lisral 8.12(a) program. Result : With the findings from this study, duration of employment and the locus of control among the characteristics of the nurses, job enrichment among the characteristics of nursing job were direct or indirect predictors of the organizational effectiveness of the nursing units. Group dynamics in the nursing units and the characteristics of organizational behavior were mediating variables for the organizational effectiveness of the nursing units, and affect directly and indirectly on the individual outcome and group outcome to the great extends. Conclusion : Therefore, nursing managers ought to develop career ladder program and based job enrichment program in order to improve the organizational effectiveness of the nursing units. Additionally, programs to improve organizational effectiveness via improve group dynamics and characteristics of the organizational behaviors should be developed.

Objectives: This study evaluated the effectiveness of Sayeok-san for treating insomnia. Methods: We conducted a search using keywords, such as "Sayeoksan", "Si-ni-san", and "insomnia" in eight databases (CNKI, Wanfang, Pubmed, Embase, Cochrane, NDSL, OASIS, RISS) on July 17, 2012. There was no limit placed on the publication period of the papers, and we used Cochrane's risk of bias tool to assess their quality. Meta-analysis was classified according to the outcome measurements, such as total effective rate and PSQI. Results: Nine RCTs were selected. Meta-analysis showed that the treatment group, which used Sayeok-san, had a higher total effective rate than did the control group that used only Western medicine. The treatment group also had a lower average of PSQI and TSS (TCM symptom score) than did the control group. Conclusion: This study suggests that Sayeok-san is effective in treating insomnia. However, these findings should be interpreted cautiously due to unknown or high risk of bias of the included trials.
