주의력결핍 과잉행동장애 위험요인에 따른 어머니의 양육스트레스, 우울 및 아동문제행동 간의 관계분석 (Analysis of Relationships between Parenting Stress, Maternal Depression, and Behavioral Problems in Children at Risk for Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder)

  • Purpose: In this study differences in behavioral problems between children at risk for Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) and normally developing children were identified. Further, relationships between parental stress, depression, and child behavioral problems according to ADHD symptoms were explored. Methods: Participants were 222 elementary school children and their parents. The ADHD risk group was determined by the Korean-ADHD Rating Scale. Data were collected using the Korean-ADHD Rating Scale, Korean version of Child Behavior CheckList (K-CBCL), Parenting Stress Index, and Beck Depression Inventory. Data were analyzed using t-test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and regression analysis. Results: 1) The ADHD risk group showed higher levels of behavioral problems, parenting stress, and maternal depression than the normal group. 2) There were significant relationships between ADHD scores and parenting stress (r=.66), maternal depression (r=.35), internal behavioral problems (r=.47), and external problems (r=.55), but, ADHD risk scores were negatively correlated with social competence (r=-.40). 3) The regression analysis revealed that ADHD levels affected the child's internal behavioral problems, mediated by maternal depression ($\beta$=.29, p<.001). Conclusion: The study results show that higher risk scores for ADHD indicate a significant effect for behavioral problems. Also, parenting stress and depression influence child's behavioral problems. These results suggest that identification of children at risk for ADHD and development of parental education programs would contribute to the prevention of behavioral problems and aggravation of the ADHD symptoms.

  • 비즈니스 모델 혁신이란 비즈니스 모델을 구성하는 여러 가지 요소를 다각도에서 변형시켜 차별화되는 가치를 창출해내는 것으로 기업의 외부 환경이나 내부 환경 중 어느 한 쪽에 집중하기 보다는 내부의 자원과 역량, 그리고 외부 환경이 만나는 곳에서 최적의 선택을 하는 것이다. 그러나 비즈니스 모델 혁신에 대한 명확한 정의가 없고, 핵심 비즈니스 모델을 잘 활용하지 못하는 관계로 기업이 비즈니스 모델 혁신을 통해 성장한다는 것은 매우 어려운 일이다. 본 논문에서는 비즈니스 모델 혁신에 대한 정의를 체계적으로 정리하고, 비즈니스 모델 혁신이 필요한 시기가 언제인지, 어떠한 유형의 비즈니스 모델 혁신이 있는지를 몇 가지 사례를 통해 살펴보았다. 기업의 가치 제안, 가치사슬과 가치네트워크를 통한 가치 창출과 수익모델의 혁신 사례를 통해 비즈니스 모델 혁신이라는 다소 추상적인 개념을 좀 더 친숙하게 접근하였다. 마지막으로, 이미 성공한 기업 역시 비즈니스모델 혁신과 적응우위 강화로 급변하는 시장 환경에서 새로운 가치를 창출할 수 있음을 사례분석을 통해 입증하였다.

Possibility of a Standardized System for Task-Related Hierarchal Positions of Dental Hygienists

  • Background: Despite the demand for greater competence of dental hygienists in recent times, and the consequent standardization of systems in the organizations, there is a lack of a proper system for hierarchal positions of dental hygienists. The aim of this study was to identify the tasks performed by Korean dental hygienists in various work settings and hierarchal positions to suggest a standardized system for task-related hierarchal positions. Methods: A survey was conducted by sending questionnaires to 966 dental hygienists, and responses from 757 participants were included in the final analysis. The survey comprised questions regarding participants' general characteristics, tasks, current positions, and the internal policies or standards of the respective organizations to define these positions. The participants' positions were analyzed as frequency and cross-sectional analysis with respect to their general characteristics, their place in the organizational charts, the size of their workplaces, and differences in the tasks performed. Results: Data showed that 82.6% of the hospitals and clinics in Korea have organizational systems to determine the positions, and there was a significant difference in the systems according to the size of the health facility (p<0.05). The standards or policies used to define positions within general or university hospitals were determined by internal regulations or bylaws, whereas work experience was the major determinant of positions in smaller dental hospitals or clinics. The main tasks performed by dental hygienists in Korea were dental assistance (81.2%), routine dental hygiene tasks (53.4%), and administrative tasks, such as reception and billing (46.1%). Conclusion: Most dental hygienists in Korea are actively involved in dental assistance. Therefore, their specific tasks and responsibilities should be standardized more effectively. The data obtained from this study can be used to establish a standardized position system.

한국판 아동용 부모자녀관계 척도 표준화 연구 (Standardization Study for the Korean Version of Parenting Relationship Questionnaire-Children)

  • The PRQ instrument is parental perspectives of the parent-child relationship. It measured parent-child dimensions that include attachment and involvement. Also, it provides additional information on parenting style, parenting stress and satisfaction with the child's school. This study tested reliability and validity of the Korean version of Parenting Relationship Questionnaire-Child (K-PRQ-C). The K-PRQ-C was administered to parents of 713 elementary school children including 362 boys and 351 girls. They were from 1st to 6th grade children who were recruited form 4 elementary schools in Korea. Reliability was tested through internal consistency. We conducted confirmatory factor analysis. Moreover, scale inter-correlation was conducted for validity test. Discriminant validity conducted through administration to the parents of clinical children with emotional and behavior disorders. Construct validity was also examined through Korean version of the Parenting Sense of Competence. The results of confirmatory factor analysis indicated that the similar factor structures exist for PRQ-C and K-PRQ-C. The results showed a high level of internal consistency as well as construct and discriminant validity. These results showed valid psychometric properties for the K-PRQ-C. The K-PRQ-C provides a reliable and valid means of gathering information about the parent-child relationship. We discussed Implications for the use of the K-PRQ-C as a clinical tool and as a research instrument.

ICT 활용 역량이 실시간기업(RTE)역량과 공급사슬 성과에 미치는 영향 (Impact of ICT Capability on Real Time Enterprise Capability and Supply Chain Performance)

  • Many companies make considerable efforts in implementing supply chain management systems to increase their competitiveness. In particular, there are significant investments in their ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and supply chain. However, considerable diversity exists in how well firms have been able to assimilate ICT and leverage the business value of it. In addition, studies on supply chains, particularly Real Time Enterprise (RTE) competence, which is cited for rapid information sharing and dynamic capabilities for each role in the supply chain, are insufficient. The purpose of this paper is to explore and evaluate effect of ICT utilization capabilities, including 'ICT internal cooperative capabilities' and 'ICT operational flexibility capabilities', on RTE capabilities (flexibility, visibility and prediction) and supply chain performance. To validate the research model proposed in the study, survey was conducted on companies using ICT along the supply chain of manufacturing industries. 216 data were used, SPSS and AMOS were used for the analysis methods. Study results showed that ICT internal collaboration capabilities affect agility, one of RTE capabilities, but not visibility and prediction, and ICT operational flexibility capabilities have affected all three RTE capacities. And, RTE capabilities had a huge impact on supply chain performance as expected. In this paper, it has been found that the ICT capabilities in manufacturing are an important factor in improving RTE capabilities that are important in the supply chain and improving the performance of the supply chain.

임상간호실습 현장지도자용 임상간호역량 평가도구 개발 (Development and Psychometric Testing of the Clinical Nursing Competency Scale for Clinical Preceptor Use (CNCS-CP))

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop and establish the psychometric properties of a clinical nursing competency evaluation tool to be utilized by clinical preceptors. Methods: The initial items were identified through in-depth literature review and field interviews based on a hybrid model. Content validation of the items was evaluated through three rounds of content validity testing. Participants were 34 clinical preceptors and 443 nursing students participating in clinical practice. Data were analyzed using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, convergence and discriminant validity, internal consistency and inter-rater reliability. Results: The final scale consisted of 23 items and four factors, fundamental nursing skills performance, critical thinking skills based on the nursing process, basic nursing knowledge, and professional attitude; these factor explained 69.7% of the total variance. The analysis with multi-trait/multi-item matrix correlation coefficients yielded 100.0% and 95.7 % convergence and discriminant validity, respectively. Cronbach's alpha for the total items was .95. The four subscale model tested by confirmatory factor analysis was satisfactory. Inter-rater reliability ranged from .912 to .967. Conclusion: This scale was found to be a reliable and valid instrument that clinical preceptors can apply for evaluating the clinical nursing competency of nursing students in clinical settings.

  • Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is online education that anyone can register for free and has internet access. MOOC is also called Education Revolution and is spreading rapidly all over the world. Although recent MOOC high-quality classes may enhance the value of MOOC, MOOC learning still needs much research. Since MOOC has low learning completion rate and continuous use rate, various studies on the reasons that learners give up at the beginning of learning have not been tried yet This research is studied for the continuous intention of use of MOOC applying self-determination theory and learning flow theory based on technology acceptance model. In particular, the research are conducted for cultural difference in continuous usage of MOOC between Korean and Chinese. The research results show that self-determination theory applying perceived autonomy, perceived competence, and perceived relatedness and learning flow is useful to explain continuous use of MOOC. The research also shows that Hofstede theory works well in explaining the cultural difference between Korea and China in continuous usage of MOOC. The result shows that korean is more influenced by perceived external motivation like perceived usefulness and chinese is more influenced by internal motivation like learning flow in continuous use of MOOC.

안동지역의 외래물리치료실 이용환자의 만족도 (Out-Patient Satisfaction with Physical Therapy Service in the Andong Region)

  • The purpose of this study was to contribute to the relatively neglected area of out -patient satisfaction with physical therapy service by measuring and determining the factors affecting patient satisfaction in the Andong region. One hundred and forty-five subjects (81 males and 64 females) at 11 facilities with a mean age of 39.2 years (SD=16.2) responded to the satisfaction questionnaire. Each questionnaire contained a set of demographic questions and 19 patient satisfaction items. Cronbach's alpha test of reliability was used as the measure of internal consistency . The satisfaction scale had a good reliability coefficient : Cronbach's alpha=.8688. The average satisfaction score (minimum score=19, maximum score=95) was 75.4 ranging from 38 to 90. Respondent variables including sex, education, marital status, religion, medical security, average monthly income, and number of physical therapy out-patient department treatment visits were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, and ANCOVA. Satisfaction with the service was largely unrelated to mallets of sex, education, occupation, or other demographic variables. However, marital status, age, average monthly income, and number of treatment visits in the out-patient department were significantly related to patient satisfaction. The analysis presented here could be replicatied with a larger sample in other areas. Other factors such as physical therapist availability, physical therapist competence, accessibility, waiting time, and atmosphere of the treatment area should be considered in further studies.

학령 초기 자녀의 부모용 양육행동 척도 개발 및 타당화 (The Development and Validation of a Parenting Behavior Scale for Parents of Early School-Age Children)

  • This study was conducted in order to develop a parenting behavior scale for parents of school-age children and to analyze the scale in terms of both reliability and validity. Data were collected from a sample of mothers of $1^{st}$ to 3rd grade students in four elementary schools located in Seoul. 778 mothers were administered a parenting behavior scale with 123 items, and 779 mothers were asked to verify the validity of the developed scale in which 45 items remained after a series of analyses. Data were analyzed by means of exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and correlation analysis. The results of factor analysis identified five factors, Warmth, Reasoning, Intrusiveness, Coercion, and Neglect. The Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ of each factor demonstrated results of .82~.86, suggesting that the scale had adequate internal consistency. Concurrent validity was established by using correlations between mothers' parenting behaviors and children's social competence. Moreover, cross-validation was also verified for the five factors. Considering the reliability and validity of this scale, it can clearly serve as a useful tool for assessing parenting behavior which is closely related to child development.

일개 간호대학에서 4년간 실시한 임상수행력평가 (Clinical Performance Examination for Nursing Students: 2006-2009)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to share the experience of clinical performance examinations (CPXs) using standardized patients, which was to test comprehensive clinical competence of fourth-year nursing students for four years. Methods: The assessment strategies for CPXs were developed. It included clinical scenarios, the roles of standardized patients, and appraisal criteria in the areas of fundamental and comprehensive nursing care. The CPXs were implemented to about 60-70 fourth-year nursing students of C University in G-city, South Korea, during every second semester from the year of 2006 to 2009. Results: The effects of CPXs were measured by 10 or 25-item rating checklist. Internal reliability of the checklists was distributed from .511 to .956 and interrater agreement between faculties and standardized patients was moderate (r=.250-.949). Students' satisfaction level was 4.27 out of 5 points for four years. Conclusion: The use of CPXs was an innovative educational strategy to evaluate nursing students' comprehensive performance ability including knowledge, skills and attitude. Further studies are needed to evaluate the levels of critical thinking and problem solving skills of clinical nurses who were taken CPXs as well as employers' satisfaction.
