  • The Train Networks has a goal which requires the fast and correct data communication for distributable equipment systems. For this, in 1999, some train makers had established the standard TCN(IEC61375-1) for the inter-operating between equipment systems. Recently, TCN is being used in EU, China and the requirement to use it is growing up by many other countries more and more. The TCN was adopted at Korea High-speed Train with first in Korea, and Rotem Company finished the design of TCMS with TCN network for Istanbul EMU and KTX-2 Train and tests them. TCN(Train Communication Networks) defines the set of communication vehicle buses and train buses. The MVB(Multifunction Vehicle Bus) defines the data communication interface of equipment located in a vehicle and the WTB(Wire Train Bus) defines the data communication interface between vehicles. This paper examines whether the result of on-board test is satisfied with the IEC61375-1(International Electrotechnical Commission 61375-1) which is the international standard of TCN and introduce the results.

  • In this paper, we develop a PC adapter board and application software that do not use mouse or keyboard but the infrared communication, which can control the operation remotely. The infrared communication adapter is made up of the infrared receiver part and the serial communication interface part. The infrared receiver part creates a suitable scan-code using the received signal from the infrared transmitter (remote-controller). The serial communication interface part transmits the scan-code to PC by a serial communication. We implement its application softwares to listen to music and see movies. We can control their operations such as play, stop, pause and volume control remotely.

  • In this paper, a control system of the PUMA 560 robot manipulator using a PC (Personal Computer) is presented. The hardware of the designed control system is composed of IBM-PC/AT, interface board, selection board, interrupt generating circuit, and the servo control unit of the PUMA controller. A robot control library is developed using assembly and C language, and is composed of several low-level functions and arm interface routines, world model routines, arm kinematics routines, and motion command service routines. Using the designed library, joint interpolated motion and Cartesian interpolated motion of the PUMA robot manipulator are realized. In the future, our system is expected to be a very helpful basis and a useful tool for developing various control algorithms of robot manipulator using sensory information.

  • Nowadays, it is animately studied on IoT(Internet of Things) on the strength of development of the short-range communications technology and smart device. In this paper, it made a interface board which is capable of short-range communications networks based on embedded linux and Android OS (operating system). and we also made a IoT sensor module and device driver module. This devices are easily separated and changed and also simply embodied in IoT, and It was implemented using the Android app that allows you to control the sensors.

  • In this thesis, remote conveyor control and monitoring system is designed and Implemented for shoes production process based on Lego prototyping mechanism by using the I/O interface control board for the ISA Interface control board. A conveyor server for real time profess control is implemented based on RTLinux(Real-Time Linux) so that users deride priority of work. And device driver is implemented bated on the RTLinux. Through this system, real-time Client/server monitoring environments Is implemented and tested. And the JMF(Java Media Framework) based monitoring system was implemented and the total processing status war monitored.

  • This paper presents a new architecture, called "Power Electronics Remote Wiring and Measurement Laboratory (PermLAB)", that translates a common gateway interface (CGI) string from a remote web user to a web server connected to a 3-dimension switching matrix board, can be used to switch on and off, and to control a cluster of instruments and components. PermLAB addresses real-time connection, switching, and data acquisition over the Internet instead of using simulated data. A software procedure uses a signature system to identify each instrument and component in a complex system. The Web-server application is developed in HTML, JavaScript and Java, and in C language for the CGI interface, which resides in a controller portion of LabVIEW. The LabVIEW software fully integrates the Web sever, LabVIEW data acquisition boards and controllers, and the 3-dimensional switching matrix board. The paper will analyze a half-wave rectifier (AC - DC converter) circuit connected over the Internet using the PermLAB. PermLAB allows students to obtain real data by real-time wiring of real circuits in the laboratory using a "virtual breadboard" on the Web. The software for the Web-based 3-dimensional system is flexible, portable, can be integrated into many laboratory applications or expanded, and easily accessible worldwide.

  • In this paper, we suggest a way of implementing ISDN S-Interface through two-wire premises telephone networks instead of using four wires as in the existing ISDN systems. This will help many developing or underdeveloped countries in the world to introduce ISDN services, where they have only two or low wires as in-building telephone networks. We suggest new physical-layer specifications for two-wire S-interface similar to that in ITU-T recommendations I.430 for four-wire systems, design a tranceiver according to the suggested specifications, and implement it using an FPGA We build a test board with the chip on it and succeed in connecting to Internet.

  • This paper rotates to tile FPGA that is reffered to as the UTOSPI. The design goal of the FPGA is to convert the UTOPIA-3 bus interface to the SPI-3 bus interface, so that the SAR chips on the ATM interface board can be interfaced to the packet processor through this FPGA. We Propose a new architecture that has two Dual Port RAMs and flow control signals. To buffer data, the UTOSPI has a Dual port RAM in the receive direction and the same size of that in the transmit direction. This design has been implemented, compiled, and tested using a Xilinx Virtex-I XCV-300E FPGA.

  • An inter-pin skew compensation scheme is proposed, which minimizes the inter-pin skew of parallel interface induced by unequal trace length and loading of printed circuit board (PCB). The proposed scheme measures the inter-pin skew and compensates during power-up with simple hardware. The proposed scheme is applied to 3.2-Gb/s/pin DDR4 SDRAM and implemented in a 0.18 m CMOS process. The inter-pin skew is compensated in 324-cycles of 400-MHz clock and the skew is compensated to be less than 24-ps.

  • This paper presents a link layer design of DisplayPort interface with a state machine based on packet processing. The DisplayPort link layer provides isochronous video/audio transport service, link service, and device service. The merged video, audio main link, and AUX channel controller are implemented with 7,648 LUTs(Loop Up Tables), 6020 register, and 821,760 of block memory bits synthesized using a FPGA board and it operates at 203.32MHz.
