  • When a saturating control system has integral action, reset windup can cause instability as well as make the system performance unsatisfactory. An antirset-windup (ARW) limiter has been suggested to improve the stability and performance. It has been implemented with analog circuits and tested by simulations. This paper presents the stability condition of a double-integrator plant having the state feedback plus integral-action controller with the ARW limiter by using both Liapunov's second method and graphical method together.

  • In the process control applications of self tuning control, a major concern of the control problem is to handle an offset caused by load disturbances and random steps occuring at random instance of time. Conventionally an integrator is incorperated in the forward path of the controller to eliminate such an offset. But this approach causes a difficulty if the adaptive part of the resultant controller is to be evaluated. In this paper a method of analyzing the adaptive system and improving the offset effect is suggested for a class of referance model method in the self tuning adaptive control system.

  • Linear time invariant systems are considered. It is assumed that only partial state variables are observable for feedback control. In this study, a new method is presented for designing a stat e feedback controller. It is based on augmenting the original system by additional integrator and using time delayed feedback of observable variables. Several examples and its computer simulation results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • 본 논문에서는 데이터 플로우 표현방식을 이용한 비주얼 프로그램으로 개발하려는 소프트웨어의 프로토타입을 빠르고 쉽게 만들어 완성된 소프트웨어를 시뮬레이션 할 수 있는 환경을 제공하는 TOI(Task Operation Integrator) 시스템을 소개한다. 이 시스템은 Liveness를 제공하여 사용자가 효과적으로 프로그램을 작성할 수 있게 해주고 다양한 환경에 융통성 있게 확장 가능하다.

  • In this calculation of statical stability of a ship, mechanical integrator was used most popularly and the direct calculation method such as a Barn's wedge method was also adopted in some cases. Both of the above method was developed for manual calculation which include mechanical integration or drafting procedure on body plan. Therefore, the computerization of stability calculation by the above method is very difficult. In this paper a simplified method for stability calculation is suggested, with based on hydrostatic data and immerged wedged characteristics.

  • A scheme for installing the digital printing devices as an additional output system of photoelectric photometry is discussed. The digital printing devices consist of counter/integrator and printer interfaces for the digital printer HP 5055A. The integration gate time could be adjusted from 1 second to 99 seconds.

  • This paper deals with the parametric analysis of electric and magnetic fields generated by lightning discharges. The measuring system consisted of the plate-type electric field and loop-type magnetic field sensor, the voltage follower, the active integrator and LabVIEW software. The parameters of the electric and magnetic field waveforms produced by intracloud lightning strokes were presented.

  • 본 논문에서는 2차 일반화 적분기(Second-Order Generalized Integrator - SOGI)를 이용한 계통 위상각 검출시에 필수 정보인 계통 주파수를 퍼지제어를 통하여 빠르게 추정하고자 한다. DSOGI-FLL의 기존의 방법과는 다르게 비선형 특성이 강한 주파수 동기화의 동특성 모델에 퍼지제어를 적용함으로써 선형화 오차를 줄이고 계통 주파수 추정을 빠르게 할 수 있다. 제안된 방법은 시뮬레이션을 통하여 우수한 성능이 입증된다.

Optimal Control of a First Order System (일차계통의 최적제어에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, an optimal control of first order systems is discussed. The control system comprises a main controller and an auxiliary controller. The main controller is designed based on the LQ control scheme including an integrator to remove the off-set. The non-linear auxiliary controller is added parallely to the main controller to obtain a finite time settling control. The control parameters under variation of the system and various coefficients of the performance indices are computed numerically, and the control responses for the system with the proposed controllers demonstrated the usefulness of the control method.
