  • Flight instructors at aviation training centers are exposed to various stresses, such as stress caused by special work environments, stress caused by working conditions, and stress related to uncertain future airline employment. These stresses are expected to not only affect flight safety, but also adversely affect the job satisfaction of flight instructors, and consequently negatively affect the performance of high-quality flight education. Therefore, this study was conducted to understand the effects of these stresses on the job satisfaction of flight instructors by examining the stress experienced by flight instructors in flight, psychological, and physical aspects based on the results of previous studies on stress. To the end, this study conducted a survey of flight instructors belonging to aviation training centers, and as a result of analyzing the collected data, it was confirmed that the physical stress of flight instructors had a significant negative effect on their job satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore directions for improvement of teaching at college of engineering based on analysis of differences from course evaluation of students and instructors. Data was collected from 86 instructors' ratings on courses and their 3004 students' ratings on courses at college of engineering in a two-year, a three-year college and a University from 2010 to 2013. The results of the survey indicate significant differences in the statistics from the several questions between the instructors and the students as well as between the course in a two-year, a three-year college and in a University. First, instructors' self evaluation of the course is higher than students' satisfaction ratings of the course on the average. Instructors' self evaluation are high on the questions 'The subject was proper for the course', 'The course provided the latest theory and trend of the field', and 'Fairness and objectivity about the exams and the assignments'. Also, the difference between Instructors and students on the questions is significant in the statistics. The professor must make sure that students know well how to organize the course content and the method for feedback to test result and homework. Second, instructors have higher satisfaction ratings on the six questions and students have higher satisfaction ratings on the one question('Make students participate in the class effectively') at a two-year and a three-year college. However, students have higher satisfaction ratings on the three questions('Make students participate in the class effectively', 'Concern about students' learning process', and 'Use of E-learning and media equipments') and instructors have higher satisfaction ratings on the one question. It means instructors at a University feel pressure on a teaching and they are unsatisfied with their teaching skills. Third, the result of comparing six parts of the questions shows that students' satisfaction ratings are higher on 'Students participation' and 'Application of media equipments' parts whereas instructors' self evaluation are higher on 'Exams and assignments' part. Fourth, the question 'Make students participate in the class effectively' is significant in statistic based on comparison of instructors and students, and comparison of in a college and a University. Students' satisfaction ratings are higher than instructors' self evaluation.

A total of 54 instructors participated in the survey conducted at the end of the spring semester 2021 at C University located Gyeongsangnam-do. Findings revealed that instructors' satisfaction with their online classes was relatively low(2.80), and they negatively perceived their online classes. Also they show negative perception of the variable, interaction with learners(2.87). However, they show higher satisfaction with the next variables than the overall satisfaction; class management, online learning platform, and asynchronous online learning. Plus, a statistically significant result is that online learning platform have the biggest effect on the instructors' class satisfaction. Therefore, we need to know that instructors have to get familiar with the online learning platform and universities help them provide a variety of training sessions regarding online learning platforms. • This study examined the multicultural efficacy and job satisfaction of multicultural family visiting instructors. The subjects were 750 visiting instructors from 140 multicultural family support centers in Seoul, 6 metropolitan cities, 9 provinces, and other cities and counties. Data were analyzed through frequency, percentages, Pearson's correlations, One-way ANOVA, Scheff$\acute{e}$ post-hoc test, independent t-test, and stepwise multi-regression using PASW 18.0. The findings are as follows. First, there were statistically significant differences in all subscales of multicultural efficacy according to the teaching experiences of the multicultural family visiting instructors. On the other hand, there was a statistically significant difference only in trust in the relationships with multicultural families according to the teaching experiences of the multicultural family visiting instructors. Meanwhile, the independent t-test showed that there was a significant difference only in satisfaction regarding treatment and salary according to the assigned work. Second, the stepwise multi-regression models revealed that three subscales (job performance, trust in the relationships with the multicultural families, job aptitude) of job satisfaction were influenced by multicultural efficacy according to both the teaching experiences and assigned work, but this was no the case for satisfaction about treatment and salary. Regardles of teaching experience or assigned work, teaching efficacy in multicultural efficacy affected all subscales of job satisfaction except for satisfaction about treatment and salary. The implications for future studies are also discussed.

Learning styles are important, however, for new pedagogy for one new learning environment, types of task are definitely more important than learning styles. Depending on the study results, the instructors should pay more attention to types of task, and they should also use different strategies to facilitate the contents of tasks to improve achievement and satisfaction in an SNS environment.
