관측기 설계에 의한 시간지연 시스템의 강인한 제어 (Robust control of input time delay systems by observer design)

  • Most of time delay existing in industrial processes can be modeled as an input time-delay which causes a lot of difficulties. To implement a time-delay free control, loop transfer function is recovered through the direct state feedback. For the proper state feedback, and observer is designed based upon the factorization approach which is known as one of the most powerful tool for the design of various control systems. The design scheme is parctically applied for the control of a DC motro which suffers from input time-delay. Simulational results demonstrate that this new algorithm guarantess the stability of the time-delayed system, as well as performance improvement compared to the conventional PI control.

Time-Discretization of Delayed Multi-Input Nonlinear System Using A new algorithm

  • In this paper, a new approach for a sampled-data representation of nonlinear system that has time-delayed multi-input is proposed. That is largely devoid of illconditioning and is suitable for any nonlinear problem. The new scheme is applied to nonlinear systems with two or three inputs; and then the delayed multi-input general equation is derived. The method is based on thematrix exponential theory. Itdoes not require excessive computational resources and lends itself to a short and robust piece of software that can be easily inserted into large simulation packages. A performance of the proposed method is evaluated using a nonlinear system with time-delay: maneuvering an automobile.

  • 본 논문에서는 고속 데이터 송수신을 위해 2차원 iDFT(inverse Discrete Fourier Transform) 및 DFT(Discrete Fourier Transform) 연산을 이용하여 Delay-Doppler 스프레딩 영향을 고속 수신 처리하는 OTFS(Orthogonal Time Frequency Space) 변조 시스템과 OTFS-MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) 시스템을 평가하고 분석한다. 특히 OTFS 변조를 사용하는 MIMO 시스템은 높은 Doppler 효과가 존재하는 채널에서도 시스템의 용량 저하가 거의 없이 모든 데이터 스트림을 전송할 수 있다. 시뮬레이션 결과, $1{\times}1$ OTFS 변조 시스템의 전송률은 $2{\times}2$ OTFS-MIMO 시스템에서 한 스트림의 전송률과 유사함을 확인할 수 있다. 즉, $2{\times}2$ OTFS-MIMO 시스템은 높은 Delay-Doppler 영향이 존재하는 환경에서도 $1{\times}1$ OTFS 변조 시스템과 비교하여 거의 2배의 전송률을 확보할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있다.

Rate Proportional SCFQ Algorithm for High-Speed Packet-Switched Networks

  • Self-Clocked Fair Queueing (SCFQ) algorithm has been considered as an attractive packet scheduling algorithm because of its implementation simplicity, but it has unbounded delay property in some input traffic conditions. In this paper, we propose a Rate Proportional SCFQ (RP-SCFQ) algorithm which is a rate proportional version of SCFQ. If any fair queueing algorithm can be categorized into the rate proportional class and input is constrained by a leaky bucket, its delay is bounded and the same as that of Weighted Fair Queueing (WFQ) which is known as an optimal fair queueing algorithm. RP-SCFQ calculates the timestamps of packets arriving during the transmission of a packet using the current value of system potential updated at every packet departing instant and uses a starting potential when it updates the system potential. By doing so, RP-SCFQ can have the rate proportional property. RP-SCFQ is appropriate for high-speed packet-switched networks since its implementation complexity is low while it guarantees the bounded delay even in the worst-case input traffic conditions.

  • In this paper, a control problem of the Takagi-Sugeno(TS) fuzzy system with time-varying input delay is considered. It is well known that the delay is one of the major sources responsible for the instability of the controlled system. A systematic design technique is developed based on the Lyapunov-Razumikhin stability theorem. A sufficient condition for the global asymptotic stability of the TS fuzzy systems is formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The derived condition can deal with any time-varying input delay within the admissible bound. The effectiveness of the proposed controller design technique is demonstrated by a numerical simulation.

  • In this paper, we propose a new scheme for the discretization of nonlinear systems using Taylor series expansion and the zero-order hold assumption. This scheme is applied to the sampled-data representation of a non-affine nonlinear system with constant input time-delay. The mathematical expressions of the discretization scheme are presented and the ability of the algorithm is tested for some of the examples. The proposed scheme provides a finite-dimensional representation for nonlinear systems with time-delay enabling existing controller design techniques to be applied to them. For all the case studies, various sampling rates and time-delay values are considered.

  • This note is concerned with a robust sliding mode control(SMC) for a class of unmatched uncertain system with severe commensurate state time delay. The suggested method is extended to the control of severe state time delay systems with unmatched uncertainties except the matched input matrix uncertainty. A transformed sliding surface is proposed and a stabilizing control input is suggested. The closed loop stability together with the existence condition of the sliding mode on the proposed sliding surface is investigated through one Lemma and two Theorems by using the Lyapunov direct method with the concept of the control Lyapunov function instead of complex Lyapunov-Kravoskii functionals. Through an illustrative example and simulation study, the usefulness of the main results is verified.

  • In this paper trajectory tracking control problems are described for a robot manipulator by using pneumatic actuator. Under the assumption that the so-called independent joint control is applied to the control system, the dynamic model for each link is identified as a linear second-order system with input time-delay by the step response. Then, an optimal servo controller is designed by taking account of such a time-delay. The effectiveness of the proposed control method is illustrated through some simulations and experiments for the robot manipulator.

능동소음제어를 위한 망각형 지연 LMS 알고리듬을 이용한 이중루프제어 모델 (A Double Loop Control Model Using Leaky Delay LMS Algorithm for Active Noise Control)

  • 본 논문에서는 능동소음제어를 위하여 망각형 지연 LMS(least mean square) 알고리듬을 이용한 이중루프제어 모델을 제안하였다. 제안한 이중루푸제어 모델은 계산양을 줄이기 위해 이득과 음향시간지연인자를 이용하여 온라인으로 라우드스피커 특성 및 오차음경로를 추정한다. 이중루프구조를 통한 오차신호의 제어는 보다 견실한 제어시스템이 된다. 음향시간지연을 추정하기 위한 필터의 입력신호는 입력 마이크로폰 신호와 적응필터의 차를 사용한다. 망각형 지연 LMS 알고리듬은 비정상상태에서 계수들의 발산을 방지하기 위해 사용한다. 실제 소음신호에 대하여 제안한 이중루프제어 모델은 소음레벨이 평균 12.9dB정도 감쇠되었다.
