도시자연녹지(都市自然綠地)의 이용실태(利用實態)와 효율적(效率的) 활용방안(活用方案)을 위한 Greenway 시스템 도입(導入)에 관한 연구(硏究) : 대구광역시(大邱廣域市)를 중심(中心)으로 (The Adoption of a Greenway System for Enhancing the of Open Space in Urban Areas : The Case of City of Taegu)

  • 그린웨이는 도시의 자연녹지들을 연결하는 새로운 개념이다. 본 연구는 대구광역시의 3개 자연녹지 이용객을 대상으로 그린웨이 개발의 가능성을 검토하였다. 설문조사는 1999년 7월과 8월의 2개월간 조사지역을 찾는 방문자 446명을 대상으로 일대일 면접 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사내용으로는 이용객들이 인지하는 도시자연녹지의 이용행태, 편익과 이용의 문제점, 그리고 그린웨이 개발에 대한 지역주민의 의견 및 그린웨이 개발에 따른 경제적 편익을 조사하였다. 그 결과, 도시자연녹지를 이용객은 남성이 여성보다도 이용율이 높았으며, 교통수단은 승용차 이용이 약 절반을 차지하는 것으로 나타났다. 도시자연녹지의 편익에 대하여는 건강과 운동의 장소, 그리고 자연녹지보호에 대하여 높게 평가하였으나, 장애자들의 이용측면에서는 가장 낮은 만족도를 나타내고 있는 것으로 평가되었다. 한편, 도시 자연녹지의 문제점에 있어서는 취수대의 부족, 환경교육/해설에 대한 시설 부족, 등산로의 방향표시부족, 그리고 사전정보의 부족 순으로 나타났다. 그린웨이의 개발에 관한 시민들의 의식조사에서는 그린웨이 개발에 대하여 94.1%가 찬성하는 것으로 나타났으며, 개발후 이용에 관하여는 96.8%가 이용할 것이라 응답하여, 그린웨이 개발이 일반 시민들에게 매우 긍정적으로 받아들여지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그린웨이의 개발에 대한 비용에 있어서도 대부분의 시민들은 세금을 부담하더라도 비용의사를 지니고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 이때 평균 지불의사 금액은 방문객 일인당 약 10,200원으로 나타났다. 따라서 시민의 녹지공간의 접근용이성과 필요성에 대한 욕구를 충족시키기 위하여 그린웨이의 체계적인 도입은 매우 중요한 것으로 사료된다.

a-SiOx:H/c-Si 구조를 통한 향상된 밴드 오프셋과 터널링에 대한 전기적 특성 고찰 (Electrical Properties for Enhanced Band Offset and Tunneling with a-SiOx:H/a-si Structure)

  • a-Si is commonly considered as a primary candidate for the formation of passivation layer in heterojunction (HIT) solar cells. However, there are some problems when using this material such as significant losses due to recombination and parasitic absorption. To reduce these problems, a wide bandgap material is needed. A wide bandgap has a positive influence on effective transmittance, reduction of the parasitic absorption, and prevention of unnecessary epitaxial growth. In this paper, the adoption of a-SiOx:H as the intrinsic layer was discussed. To increase lifetime and conductivity, oxygen concentration control is crucial because it is correlated with the thickness, bonding defect, interface density (Dit), and band offset. A thick oxygen-rich layer causes the lifetime and the implied open-circuit voltage to drop. Furthermore the thicker the layer gets, the more free hydrogen atoms are etched in thin films, which worsens the passivation quality and the efficiency of solar cells. Previous studies revealed that the lifetime and the implied voltage decreased when the a-SiOx thickness went beyond around 9 nm. In addition to this, oxygen acted as a defect in the intrinsic layer. The Dit increased up to an oxygen rate on the order of 8%. Beyond 8%, the Dit was constant. By controlling the oxygen concentration properly and achieving a thin layer, high-efficiency HIT solar cells can be fabricated.

MZ세대의 조절효과를 중심으로 한 ChatGPT의 사용의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Intention to Use ChatGPT Focusing on the Moderating Effect of the MZ Generation)

  • 본 연구는ChatGPT 사용의 사용자 인식에 대한 연구로, 사용자 정책기대와 사용자 혁신성이 ChatGPT 기술수용과 사용의도에 미치는 영향 관계를 TRA(Theory of Reasoned Action) 등의 변수들을 활용하여 분석하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 정책기대, 사용자 혁신성이 유용성과 쾌락적 동기를 매개하여서 사용의도에 미치는 영향과 주관적 규범이 유용성과 사용의도에 미치는 영향을 연령변수를 이용하여서 MZ세대와 비 MZ세대로 구분하여 분석하였으며, 연령별 차이가 정책기대와 상호작용하여서 유용성에 미치는 영향에 조절효과가 있는지 검증하였다. PLS(Partial Least Square) 구조 방정식과 SPSS Package를 이용하여 ChatGPT사용자 300명을 대상으로 Online 설문을 실시하고, PLS와 SPSS을 통해 통계 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과에 따르면, 초기 사용자의 혁신성이 높을수록 ChatGPT 사용의도가 높아진다는 것을 확인하였다. 그리고, MZ세대와 비MZ세대의 차이를 비교한 조절효과분석에서는 정책기대가 ChatGPT사용의 유용성에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 효과를 보였다.

토털 아웃소싱 환경 하에서 IT서비스 수준관리(Service Level Management) 프로세스 성숙도가 정보시스템 성공에 미치는 영향에 관한 분석적 사례연구 (The Impact of Service Level Management(SLM) Process Maturity on Information Systems Success in Total Outsourcing: An Analytical Case Study)

  • As the utilization of information technology and the turbulence of technological change increase in organizations, the adoption of IT outsourcing also grows to manage IT resource more effectively and efficiently. In this new way of IT management technique, service level management(SLM) process becomes critical to derive success from the outsourcing in the view of end users in organization. Even though much of the research on service level management or agreement have been done during last decades, the performance of the service level management process have not been evaluated in terms of final objectives of the management efforts or success from the view of end-users. This study explores the relationship between SLM maturity and IT outsourcing success from the users' point of view by a analytical case study in four client organizations under an IT outsourcing vendor, which is a member company of a major Korean conglomerate. For setting up a model for the analysis, previous researches on service level management process maturity and information systems success are reviewed. In particular, information systems success from users' point of view are reviewed based the DeLone and McLean's study, which is argued and accepted as a comprehensively tested model of information systems success currently. The model proposed in this study argues that SLM process maturity influences information systems success, which is evaluated in terms of information quality, systems quality, service quality, and net effect proposed by DeLone and McLean. SLM process maturity can be measured in planning process, implementation process and operation and evaluation process. Instruments for measuring the factors in the proposed constructs of information systems success and SL management process maturity were collected from previous researches and evaluated for securing reliability and validity, utilizing appropriate statistical methods and pilot tests before exploring the case study. Four cases from four different companies under one vendor company were utilized for the analysis. All of the cases had been contracted in SLA(Service Level Agreement) and had implemented ITIL(IT Infrastructure Library), Six Sigma and BSC(Balanced Scored Card) methods since last several years, which means that all the client organizations pursued concerted efforts to acquire quality services from IT outsourcing from the organization and users' point of view. For comparing the differences among the four organizations in IT out-sourcing sucess, T-test and non-parametric analysis have been applied on the data set collected from the organization using survey instruments. The process maturities of planning and implementation phases of SLM are found not to influence on any dimensions of information systems success from users' point of view. It was found that the SLM maturity in the phase of operations and evaluation could influence systems quality only from users' view. This result seems to be quite against the arguments in IT outsourcing practices in the fields, which emphasize usually the importance of planning and implementation processes upfront in IT outsourcing projects. According to after-the-fact observation by an expert in an organization participating in the study, their needs and motivations for outsourcing contracts had been quite familiar already to the vendors as long-term partners under a same conglomerate, so that the maturity in the phases of planning and implementation seems not to be differentiating factors for the success of IT outsourcing. This study will be the foundation for the future research in the area of IT outsourcing management and success, in particular in the service level management. And also, it could guide managers in practice in IT outsourcing management to focus on service level management process in operation and evaluation stage especially for long-term outsourcing contracts under very unique context like Korean IT outsourcing projects. This study has some limitations in generalization because the sample size is small and the context itself is confined in an unique environment. For future exploration, survey based research could be designed and implemented.

  • 본 연구의 목표는 통합형 국가연구개발 사업에서 정보화사업, 공공조달 등 공공수요 기반의 상용화로 연계되는 복잡한 형태의 사업성과를 측정하고 관리하기 위한 과학적이고 효율적인 성과평가 프레임워크를 제안하는데 있다. 다수의 연구기관이 참여하여 하나의 최종성과물을 이루는 통합형 국가연구개발사업과 사업의 결과물이 수요기반의 실증 및 상용화까지 이루어지는 사업의 경우, 연구개발사업을 구성하는 세부과제의 단기적 산출물을 바탕으로 성과를 평가하는 기존의 평가체계로는 통합적 연구성과물에 대한 중장기적 효과와 실용성을 평가하기에는 한계가 있다. 더욱이 국가연구개발사업의 패러다임이 효율성을 중시하는 임무중심으로 변화함에 따라, 국가연구개발과제의 성과평가도 결과의 효과와 실용성을 중심으로 변화해야 할 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Hourglass 모델을 활용하여 각 국가연구개발과제의 성과가 단순한 단기적 산출을 넘어, 실제 그 효과성 등 실용적 관점에서 완성도를 평가하기 위한 구조적 관점의 성과평가 프레임을 제시한다. 이는 연구개발과제의 구조에 따라 Tool-System-Service-Effect로 이어지는 하향식(Top-down) 및 상향식(Bottom-up) 접근을 연계한 통합적 프레임이라 할 수 있다. 제시된 세부 평가지표와 성과평가 프레임을 실제 국가연구개발사업에 적용함으로써 지표의 타당성과 제안된 성과평가 프레임의 효용성을 검증하였으며, 이러한 결과는 향후 효율성을 강조하는 국가연구개발사업의 성과평가 체계에 대한 학술적, 정책적, 산업적 시사점을 제시할 것으로 기대된다.

수협 마아케팅에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Cooperative Marketing of Fishery Products in Korea)

  • In the field of fisheries, there is at the apex Central Federation of Fishery Cooperatives, established under the Fishery Cooperatives Law(1962), It is a multipurpose organization with a membership of 105 cooperatives, 87 regional cooperatives, 15 business-type cooperatives and 3 manufactures' cooperatives. Accordingly, this thesis examines the marketing of fishery cooperatives in Korea, and in particular considers the marketing channel strategy of fisheries products. No company can perform by itself all the activities involved in the production and distribution of its products and services to its final markets. It must work with other firms to get the job done. This thesis tries to attempt to improve the present Korean Fishery Cooperatives marketing activities. The purpose of the operation of fishery cooperatives is to guarantee the profits of fisherman as well as the interests of general consumers by eliminating the inordinate profits of middlemen and by narrowing other market margins. Fishery cooperatives marketing activity functions forming a self-helf organization for economic protection of producers themselves, and acting as a market reformational institution through its transaction by group. The following are the characteristics of fishery cooperatives marketing. \circled1 Fishery cooperatives is organized with an economic factor and a personnel factor. \circled2 Fishery cooperatives is non-profit organization. \circled3 The members of fishery cooperatives is independent constitution of economy, but they are closely connected with the cooperative. \circled4 Fishery cooperatives is a mutual aid organization. The objective of an efficient marketing strategy may be well described by the common saying provides the right product at the right time, the right place, and the right price. But it is quite true that the Korean Fishermen's Cooperative can be said to owe its development to the successful implementation of the marketing system. The use of the marketing system has resulted in the following marketing strategy. 1. The direct marketing system. \circled1 The cooperation between the fishery cooperatives and the other cooperative through the collection and delivery center. \circled2 The selling between the fishery cooperatives and the large scale retailers through the process industry. 2. The vertical marketing system. \circled1The fishermen's cooperative to be nominated by wholesaler in the terminal market. \circled2 Contracted vertical marketing system. \circled3 Abolition of selling by double auction in the landing and the terminal market. 3. The physical distribution system. \circled1 The need for adoption of cold chain system to connect production directly to consumption. \circled2 The need for more expansion of landing markets and terminal market facilities. Solutions to the problems of the Korean fishery are made possible through effective functioning of cooperative marketing activities of fishery products. The marketing concept of fishermen's cooperative lies in the satisfaction of consumer needs. According to the marketing concept fishermen's cooperative should try to satisfy customer's needs through a coodinated set of activities that allows the organization to achieve its goal. Providing satisfaction to customers is the major trust of the marketing concept. To do this, a business must find out what will satisfy customers. With this information the cooperative sells to the greatest possible number of customers through the most efficient sales and marketing channels. Economic rationality of fishermen's cooperative marketing lies in reduction of marketing cost and elimination of intermediate institutions. Cooperative marketing and direct marketing are both indispensable marketing factors for a new cooperative organization among the manu ways. The cooperation between the fishermen's cooperative and the others cooperative, and vertical marketing system are the most necessary ones. Propulsion of cooperative marketing system could not be successful without the support of the marketing instituion's help. Consequently, successful cooperative marketing ought to lead to the necessity not only for the improvement of marketing organization, but for the application of a new marketing concept in the fishermen's cooperative.

조리실습 교육에 대한 교사의 관심도, 실행 수준, 실행 형태 및 지원 요구도 조사 (A Study on Stage of Concern, Level of Use, Innovation Configuration, and Intervention demand of Teachers in Culinary Practice Education)

  • 본 연구는 Hord 등이 개발한 CBAM(관심에 기초한 교육과정 실행 모형)을 적용하여 제7차 교육과정에서의 조리실습 교육에 대한 교사의 관심도, 실행 수준. 실행 형태 및 지원 요구도를 알아봄으로써. 변화하는 시대와 새로운 교육과정에 맞는 조리실습 교육이 이루어질 수 있도록 질적 개선을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 5대 도시 중 고둥학교의 가정과 교사 500명을 대상으로 질문지를 우편 발송하였고, 회수된 193부 중 부실 기재된 6부를 제외한 187부를 SPSS/win 10.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도와 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, $X^2$ 분석, one-way ANOVA, 독립표본 t-test를 실시하였으며, 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조리실습 교육에 대한 가정과 교사의 관심 단계는 대체로 무관심 상태인 지각적 단계 즉 변화 초기에 해당하는 낮은 관심 수준에 머물고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 조리실습 교육의 실행 수준에 있어 조리실습을 실행하지 않는 수준은 없었고, 일상화의 단계가 가장 높았으며, 대체로 초기 단계로 나타났던 관심도와 달리, 실행 수준은 비교적 높은 특징을 보였다. 셋째. 제7차 교육과정 조리실습의 실행 형태를 알아본 결과, 전체적으로 약 30%의 교사가 제7차 교육과정과 전혀 부합되지 않는 실행을 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 목표와 내용 영역은 이상적인 실행 형태의 비율이 높았지만, 교수 학습방법과 교수 학습 자료, 평가 영역에서는 전혀 부합되지 않거나 부분적으로 부합되는 실행 형태가 높았다. 특히, 전혀 부합되지 않는 형태가 가장 높고 완전 부합 형태가 가정 적게 실행되고 있는 교수 학습방법 영역에 있어서 보다 많은 지원이 있어야 할 것으로 생각된다. 넷째, 조리실습 교육에서의 지원 요구도를 알아본 결과, 전반적으로 많은 지원을 원하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 지원적 분위기 조성 중 설비 제공 지원에 대한 요구도가 가장 높았고, 다음이 재정 확보 및 실습비 지원으로 나타났다.

신기술 사용 과정에 관한 비교 사례 연구: 기술 전유 과정의 근거이론적 접근 (A Comparative Case Study on the Adaptation Process of Advanced Information Technology: A Grounded Theory Approach for the Appropriation Process)

  • Many firms in Korea have adopted and used advanced information technology in an effort to boost efficiency. The process of adapting to the new technology, at the same time, can vary from one firm to another. As such, this research focuses on several relevant factors, especially the roles of social interaction as a key variable that influences the technology adaptation process and the outcomes. Thus far, how a firm goes through the adaptation process to the new technology has not been yet fully explored. Previous studies on changes undergone by a firm or an organization due to information technology have been pursued from various theoretical points of views, evolved from technological and institutional views to an integrated social technology views. The technology adaptation process has been understood to be something that evolves over time and has been regarded as cycles between misalignments and alignments, gradually approaching the stable aligned state. The adaptation process of the new technology was defined as "appropriation" process according to Poole and DeSanctis (1994). They suggested that this process is not automatically determined by the technology design itself. Rather, people actively select how technology structures should be used; accordingly, adoption practices vary. But concepts of the appropriation process in these studies are not accurate while suggested propositions are not clear enough to apply in practice. Furthermore, these studies do not substantially suggest which factors are changed during the appropriation process and what should be done to bring about effective outcomes. Therefore, research objectives of this study lie in finding causes for the difference in ways in which advanced information technology has been used and adopted among organizations. The study also aims to explore how a firm's interaction with social as well as technological factors affects differently in resulting organizational changes. Detail objectives of this study are as follows. First, this paper primarily focuses on the appropriation process of advanced information technology in the long run, and we look into reasons for the diverse types of the usage. Second, this study is to categorize each phases in the appropriation process and make clear what changes occur and how they are evolved during each phase. Third, this study is to suggest the guidelines to determine which strategies are needed in an individual, group and organizational level. For this, a substantially grounded theory that can be applied to organizational practice has been developed from a longitudinal comparative case study. For these objectives, the technology appropriation process was explored based on Structuration Theory by Giddens (1984), Orlikoski and Robey (1991) and Adaptive Structuration Theory by Poole and DeSanctis (1994), which are examples of social technology views on organizational change by technology. Data have been obtained from interviews, observations of medical treatment task, and questionnaires administered to group members who use the technology. Data coding was executed in three steps following the grounded theory approach. First of all, concepts and categories were developed from interviews and observation data in open coding. Next, in axial coding, we related categories to subcategorize along the lines of their properties and dimensions through the paradigm model. Finally, the grounded theory about the appropriation process was developed through the conditional/consequential matrix in selective coding. In this study eight hypotheses about the adaptation process have been clearly articulated. Also, we found that the appropriation process involves through three phases, namely, "direct appropriation," "cooperate with related structures," and "interpret and make judgments." The higher phases of appropriation move, the more users represent various types of instrumental use and attitude. Moreover, the previous structures like "knowledge and experience," "belief that other members know and accept the use of technology," "horizontal communication," and "embodiment of opinion collection process" are evolved to higher degrees in their dimensions of property. Furthermore, users continuously create new spirits and structures, while removing some of the previous ones at the same time. Thus, from longitudinal view, faithful and unfaithful appropriation methods appear recursively, but gradually faithful appropriation takes over the other. In other words, the concept of spirits and structures has been changed in the adaptation process over time for the purpose of alignment between the task and other structures. These findings call for a revised or extended model of structural adaptation in IS (Information Systems) literature now that the vague adaptation process in previous studies has been clarified through the in-depth qualitative study, identifying each phrase with accuracy. In addition, based on these results some guidelines can be set up to help determine which strategies are needed in an individual, group, and organizational level for the purpose of effective technology appropriation. In practice, managers can focus on the changes of spirits and elevation of the structural dimension to achieve effective technology use.

인터넷 커뮤니티에서 사용자 참여가 밀착도와 지속적 이용의도에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effects of User Participation on Stickiness and Continued Use on Internet Community)

  • The purpose of this study is the investigation of the effects of user participation, network effect, social influence, and usefulness on stickiness and continued use on Internet communities. In this research, stickiness refers to repeat visit and visit duration to an Internet community. Continued use means the willingness to continue to use an Internet community in the future. Internet community-based companies can earn money through selling the digital contents such as game, music, and avatar, advertizing on internet site, or offering an affiliate marketing. For such money making, stickiness and continued use of Internet users is much more important than the number of Internet users. We tried to answer following three questions. Fist, what is the effects of user participation on stickiness and continued use on Internet communities? Second, by what is user participation formed? Third, are network effect, social influence, and usefulness that was significant at prior research about technology acceptance model(TAM) still significant on internet communities? In this study, user participation, network effect, social influence, and usefulness are independent variables, stickiness is mediating variable, and continued use is dependent variable. Among independent variables, we are focused on user participation. User participation means that Internet user participates in the development of Internet community site (called mini-hompy or blog in Korea). User participation was studied from 1970 to 1997 at the research area of information system. But since 1997 when Internet started to spread to the public, user participation has hardly been studied. Given the importance of user participation at the success of Internet-based companies, it is very meaningful to study the research topic of user participation. To test the proposed model, we used a data set generated from the survey. The survey instrument was designed on the basis of a comprehensive literature review and interviews of experts, and was refined through several rounds of pretests, revisions, and pilot tests. The respondents of survey were the undergraduates and the graduate students who mainly used Internet communities. Data analysis was conducted using 217 respondents(response rate, 97.7 percent). We used structural equation modeling(SEM) implemented in partial least square(PLS). We chose PLS for two reason. First, our model has formative constructs. PLS uses components-based algorithm and can estimated formative constructs. Second, PLS is more appropriate when the research model is in an early stage of development. A review of the literature suggests that empirical tests of user participation is still sparse. The test of model was executed in the order of three research questions. First user participation had the direct effects on stickiness(${\beta}$=0.150, p<0.01) and continued use (${\beta}$=0.119, p<0.05). And user participation, as a partial mediation model, had a indirect effect on continued use mediated through stickiness (${\beta}$=0.007, p<0.05). Second, optional participation and prosuming participation significantly formed user participation. Optional participation, with a path magnitude as high as 0.986 (p<0.001), is a key determinant for the strength of user participation. Third, Network effect (${\beta}$=0.236, p<0.001). social influence (${\beta}$=0.135, p<0.05), and usefulness (${\beta}$=0.343, p<0.001) had directly significant impacts on stickiness. But network effect and social influence, as a full mediation model, had both indirectly significant impacts on continued use mediated through stickiness (${\beta}$=0.11, p<0.001, and ${\beta}$=0.063, p<0.05, respectively). Compared with this result, usefulness, as a partial mediation model, had a direct impact on continued use and a indirect impact on continued use mediated through stickiness. This study has three contributions. First this is the first empirical study showing that user participation is the significant driver of continued use. The researchers of information system have hardly studies user participation since late 1990s. And the researchers of marketing have studied a few lately. Second, this study enhanced the understanding of user participation. Up to recently, user participation has been studied from the bipolar viewpoint of participation v.s non-participation. Also, even the study on participation has been studied from the point of limited optional participation. But, this study proved the existence of prosuming participation to design and produce products or services, besides optional participation. And this study empirically proved that optional participation and prosuming participation were the key determinant for user participation. Third, our study compliments traditional studies of TAM. According prior literature about of TAM, the constructs of network effect, social influence, and usefulness had effects on the technology adoption. This study proved that these constructs still are significant on Internet communities.

스마트폰 산업에서의 주도권 이전: 중국의 부상과 우리나라의 쇠퇴에 관한 사례 연구 (Case Study on the Leadership Shifts in Smart Phone Industry: Rise of China and Falling Behind of Korea)

  • 스마트폰은 2000년대 중후반 본격 보급되었으며, 우리나라는 안드로이드 운영 체제의 빠른 채택, 피쳐폰에서 축적한 기술력 및 수직 통합 체제와 프리미엄 제품 포지셔닝에 기반한 공격적 제품 마케팅 전략에 힘입어 2011년 스마트폰 세계시장 점유율 1위를 차지하였다. 그러나 우리나라는 시장 점유율 1위를 달성한지 불과 4년만인 2015년 중국에 추격을 허용하였다. 이와 같은 빠른 산업 주도권 이전 현상을 논의하기 위해 본 연구는 추격 사이클의 관점에서 중국 스마트폰 산업의 부상을 견인한 기술, 수요, 그리고 제도 정책적 기회의 창과 이에 대한 중국 기업의 전략적 대응 및 우리나라의 실책을 분석하였다. 그 결과 시스템 온 칩 업체의 등장과 스마트폰 아키텍처의 모듈화는 스마트폰 산업 진입에 대한 중국 기업의 기술적 장벽을 크게 낮춤과 동시에 체계적 역설계를 통한 기술 학습을 촉진하는 기술적 기회로 작용하였다. 또한 중국 스마트폰 시장의 급격한 성장과 저가 보급형 중심의 세계 시장 성장과 같은 수요적 기회는 중국기업의 시장 개척을 용이하게 할 뿐 아니라, 세계 시장 진출을 가속화하는데 중요한 역할을 하였다. 이와 함께 중국 정부의 통신 기술자립화와 산업 생태계 조성 등의 노력은 중국 스마트폰 기업의 기술 역량 제고와 시장 성과 창출을 지원하는 정책적 기회의 역할을 하였다. 이와 같은 기회의 창에 대해 중국 기업은 외부 시스템 온 칩의 전략적 활용, 공격적인 저가 보급형 세분 시장 공략 및 원가 경쟁력 확보를 위한 스마트폰 외주 생산 확대 또는 부품 내재화를 통한 성능 향상 등의 전략적 대응을 통해 시장 점유율 1위를 달성하였다. 반면 우리나라는 과거 성공 전략 고수에 따른 저가 제품 출시 지연, 강력한 수직 통합 체계 구축으로 인한 부품 조달 변경을 통한 제품 개선과 원가 절감 등에 어려움을 겪으면서 산업 주도권을 중국에 넘겨주게 되었다. 본 연구는 산업 주도권 이전 현상에 대한 최신 실증을 추가함으로써 추격 사이클 이론의 발전과 심화에 기여할 것으로 기대되며, 향후 우리나라 스마트폰 산업 경쟁력 강화 정책 수립에 중요한 지침으로 활용될 것으로 사료된다.
