  • Technology cooperation is a necessary factor for small and medium sized firms to be survived and developed because small and medium sized firms can make economy scale and economy scope by new advanced technologies obtained from technology cooperation. Therefore, the technology cooperation of small and medium sized firms can be thought as their specific resource. Due to the importance of technology cooperation, many previous studies paid an attention on its positive effect. Unlike the related studies, this study examined the link among uncertainty of technology environment, relationship characteristics(such as degree of technology cooperation and influential strategy), and relationship tie. The empirical results are reported as follows: Firstly, uncertainty of technology environment positively affected on degree of technology cooperation. Secondly, degree of technology cooperation positively affected on uncoercive influential strategies of both own firm and partner firm. Thirdly, degree of technology cooperation and uncoercive influential strategy of own firm have positive effects on relationship tie while uncoercive influential strategy of partner firm does not. The positive effect of uncoercive influential strategy of own firm means the importance of strategic countermeasures to promote relationship tie in technology cooperation of both own firm and partner firm.

  • The major objective of this research is to suggest the proactive strategy and management of public R&D for the active transfer of technology based on the influential factor analysis of technology transfer. This study identified influential factors which make the greatest impact on the success of public technology transfer and commercialization through three points of view-technology supplier's view, technology adopter's view and view of commercialization-which contribute to successful technology transfer and commercialization. The core influential variables for blocking technology transfer are identified such as additional technological development, search for technology adopter followed by mass production technology and testing of confidence. Technology adopter is to create new markets or expand existing markets through the superiority (innovation) of licensing technology, increasing the internal innovation capabilities and maximizing the impacts of technology. This research suggests two effective strategies for improving technology transfer such as technology planning and marketing in the view of technology license. The strategy of technology planning should be established and executed to meet both technology trends and adopter's needs. And strong patents should be secured in terms of licensing of technology. Also the technological performance should be evaluated at mid-term appraisal, confirming the needs of adopter and competitive advantage of technology and patent. In addition to this, the customized technology marketing strategy for different fields of applications is also required in order to improve the likelihood of technology transfer. If the performance of R&D organization could be evaluated by global technological competitiveness and spillover effects of commercialization rather than quantitative output, the flow of technology transfer and commercialization would be accelerated.

  • Internet of Things (IoT) is a term that has been introduced in recent years, and it defines objects being able to connect and transfer data through the internet. Although some IoT-related products are currently available in the market, there are still some IoT problems that need to be overcome, such as the technology issues and lack of confidence and understanding of IoT. This study aims to analyze the influential factors in building successful IoT system for smart supply chain. This study develops the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to evaluate the influential factors in IoT. This study finds that tangible factors (Technology, Value and Connectivity) are more important than the intangible factors (Operation and Intelligence). Finally, this study concludes that after enterprises build a good IoT connectivity system, it is essential to combine this with good IoT technology to create a successful IoT environment. The findings may help practitioners implement IoT in smart supply chains to deal with disruptions, risks and vulnerabilities in the post-pandemic era.

  • This study is aimed at considering the relationship between the influential factor in Smartphone purchase and consumer awareness. For this purpose, this study set up the influential factors in Smartphone purchase as advertising effect, brand effect and usability effect and corporate image effect, and considered the relationship between these influential factors and consumer awareness empirically. The research results can be summarized as following 3 parts: First, the four factors suggested as the influential factor in Smartphone purchase were verified to have a significant influence on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, and thus, it is thought that the bigger the influence of these factors, the more customer satisfaction and customer loyalty will increase. Second, among the factors suggested as influential factors in Smartphone purchase, the biggest factor in influencing customer satisfaction was found to be 'Usability Effect' while the biggest factor in influencing customer loyalty was revealed to be 'Brand Effect.' As a result, this study could learn that it's necessary that 'Usability Effect' should be considered more preferentially than other factors in order to enhance customer satisfaction while 'Brand Effect' should be preferentially considered in orderto raise customer loyalty. Third, it can be judged that in the relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, the bigger the customer satisfaction, the higher the customer loyalty. It is hoped that such research results could be applied as useful materials in time of establishing the marketing strategy. Nevertheless, this paper makes it clear that due to the constraints in the number of sample areas and samples, there is a limit in objectifying the research results into all areas.
