드롭 착지 시 착지의 높이와 키 높이 깔창이 충격흡수 기전에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Raised Heel Insole and Landing Height on the Shock Absorption Mechanism during Drop Landing)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyse the effect of the drop height on lower extremity and lower back kinematics and kinetics during drop landing with the use of raised heel insole. Furthermore we investigated the change that occurred in our body. Joint ROM, eccentric work and contribution to total work were calculated in 11 male college students performing drop landing with 8 motion analysis cameras and 1 forceplate. The result were as follows. First, the ROM and eccentric work were increased in all joints with the increase of the drop height. Second, the ankle ROM and eccentric work were decreased with the use of the insole. Third, the use of the lower back was increased as the use of the ankle decreased with the insole. Based on these results, we can infer that putting on the insole may contribute to chronic injury. We recommend not to use the insole during physical activity.

  • Proportion of falling from height accident at construction work accounts for more than 40%, and the number of injuries is getting increased. So without considering falling from height, we can say that it's hard to achieve our goal(accident prevention). Another critical point that we have to think about theses days is the fact that construction workers are getting older. To be specific, the number of workers who are above 50 years old accounts for 65.6% among the fatalities(2007~2011, KOSHA inspection). Accordingly, to effectively prevent construction accedents, especially falls from height, we need to focus on motion analysis of older construction workers and then make suitable measures for growing accident rates at construction work.

  • 로프엑세스에 의한 고소작업은 해양플랜트를 포함한 많은 산업현장에서 사용되고 있고 작업 위험성 때문에 작업자에게 IRATA 자격증을 요구하는 것이 세계적인 추세이다. 또한 우리나라 산업재해의 사망사고 원인 1위가 추락사고임에도 불구하고 고소작업자에 대한 교육훈련은 거의 전무한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 IRATA의 자격증 종류, 교육방법 및 회원자격 등에 대하여 소개하고 이를 우리나라에 도입하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • A welding bead height is closely related to the efficiency of welding work, and the height of 3mm is used in the conventional practice of butt welding. in the present paper, the modification of bead height from 3mm to 6mm is considered to increase the efficiency and work productivity of butt welding on bottom plate (of BONGA FPSO actually built in SHI shipyard). Therefore, fatigue analysis has been carried out using simplified method based on the DNV Rules. It is found that the minimum fatigue life is about 594 years and the butt welding details with 6mm bead height has sufficient strength and resistance against fatigue.

노인을 위한 부엌 작업공간의 계획지침 연구 (A Study on Guidelines for the Kitchen Workspace of the Aged)

  • The purpose of this study was to devise guidelines for the kitchen workspace of the aged by examining current usage. To achieve this objective, surveys were conducted and measurement were taken between June 15 and lune 30, 2005. The data were gathered from 50 women over 65- years-old who live in the downtown and suburbs of Seoul, Korea. The collected data were processed using SPSS 12.0 for Microsoft Windows and resulted in the following conclusions: The kitchen for the aged needs to be laid out in ㄱ-shape and the refrigerator needs to be positioned prominently. The height of the work counter is relative to the user's height (${\times}0.49{\sim}056$). and the length varies depending on the available space of the house and the type of work counter needed: however it was found that it should be at least 270cm Concerning the depth of the work counter, the standard sizes (60cm) currently on the market did not cause any inconvenience. It was found that the sink must be designed to allow for some space at the bottom so as to ensure comfortable sedentary work. Also, an electrical oven was preferred over a gas-fuelled one. Finally, the height of the upper cabinet should be relative to the user's height at ${\times}0.85{\sim}1.0$ from the floor to the bottom of the cabinet.

Transmittance and work function enhancement of RF magnetron sputtered ITO:Zr films for amorphous/crystalline silicon heterojunction solar cell

  • Recently, TCO films with low carrier concentration, high mobility and high work function are proposed beneficial as front electrode in HIT solar cell due to free-carrier absorption in NIR wavelength region and low Schottky barrier height in the front TCO/a-Si:H(p) interface. We report high transmittance and work function zirconium-doped indium tin oxide (ITO:Zr) films with various plasma (Ar/O2 and Ar) conditions. The role of (Ar/O2) plasma was to enhance the work function of the ITO:Zr films whereas the pure Ar plasma based ITO:Zr showed good electrical properties. The RF magnetron sputtered ITO:Zr films with low resistivity and high transmittance were employed as front electrode in HIT solar cells, yield the best performance of 18.15% with an open-circuit voltage of 710 eV and current density of 34.63 mA/cm2. The high work function ITO:Zr films can be used to modify the front barrier height of HIT solar cell.

  • An experimental study of the characteristics and the behavior of flames, and the aerodynamic flow pattern was carried out in the present work on a down draft kiln for gas firing. The aim of this work is to establish a behavior of flames and to know the extent to which the flow pattern is affected by the height of baffle plate. The measurements of temperature, concentrations of fuelgas, and kiln pressure were conducted at different temperature in kiln, and at different height of baffle plate. From the obtained results, it was found that the characteristics of thestagnation zone are greatly affected when changing over the height of baffle plate, and the best condition of that was 115m/m.

  • This field study was conducted to survey the effect of seating & lighting conditions on work. The results were as follows ; Discomfortable parts of body caused by unsuitable sitting postures on work were low back 52.05%, leg 15.75%, neck 14.38% and arm 9.59%. Work conditions of sitting postures were needed arm rest, back rest of seat and adjustable seat height. Effect of work efficiency by lighting conditions were statistically significant relationship between glaring state of workstation and lighting state.

  • In developing criteria for establishing workstation reach limits, it is essential to select the appropriate anthropometric stereotype for solving a specific design problem. The most important factor for comfortable workstation is to eliminate trunk flexion from the neutral (upright) posture. A solution to this design can be developed using population stature and link length data. This paper provides a methodology for design of comfortable workstation using anthropometric stereotype. Application of this methodology can be utilized in various designs for work space including standing and sitting workplace. For the purpose of this study, the data are measured by some parts on body such as stature, arm length, wrist height, elbow height, and shoulder hight. The samples for this study are randomly chosen from university students in Seoul and Kangnung during sixteen months (2003.3-2004.6).

  • A high-rise building construction in Korea has some problems in engineering, construction and management technologies although the high-rise building construction is recently booming. In addition, the lack of skilled construction labors is increasing, so the development for methods is needed to reduce the labors by prefabrication and mechanization. A re-bar work is one of very important works with regard to cost and schedule management in the high-rise building construction. Nevertheless, the re-bar work has some problems that it is needed many re-bars for joints linking and much time for lifting due to high-rise buildings, and it is difficult to level the skill of labors. So, in this study, the pre-fabrication of three-story height in column re-bars is proposed and the results of an implementation are analyzed and explored by a case study. As the results of case study, the pre-fabrication of three-story heights in column re-bars could reduce the cost in the re-bar work and accelerate the time in the structural frame work. In addition, the pre-fabrication of three-story height in column re-bars could solve the problems such as the waste of many re-bars for joints linking, and the lack of the skilled labors.
