This paper presents a new representation algorithm which computes the representation for elements of a free group generated by two linear fractional transformations and also the justification of the algorithm in order to show how it operates correctly and efficiently according to inputs.

This study investigated the significant difference in the influences of pregnant couples' attachment representation for parents of origin on their psychological symptoms according to groups. One hundred and eighty two pregnant couples answered the questionnaire. Data were analyzed by means of frequency, percentages, t-test. Pearson's correlation using SPSS ver. 21.0 and multiple group structural equation modeling using AMOS ver. 20.0. The findings are as follows. First, there were significant differences in attachment representations according to parents of origin and psychological symptoms between pregnant women and spouses. Second, there were negative influences of attachment representations to parents of origin on psychological symptoms for both the pregnant women group and their spouses group, respectively. Last, the negative effects of attachment representation for parents of origin on their psychological symptoms according to groups were significantly different; consequently, the impact on the spouses group was stronger than the pregnant women group. The results imply that policies to help pregnant couples reduce psychological symptoms should be provided. In addition, the unexpected result on the weaker impact of pregnant women's attachment representation for parents of origin on their psychological symptoms suggests it is better to consider other factors simultaneously (such as a romantic attachment to spouses) that might provide a moderating role. The study results are meaningful because it is the first to apply a statistically advanced method to analyze pregnant women and spouses in relation to parents of origin on their psychological symptoms.

이 연구의 목적은 다중 표상 수업이 고등학생들의 글쓰기에서 나타난 다중 표상의 내재성에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이 연구는 광역시에 위치한 고등학교 자연계열 2학년 2개 학급 학생 74명을 대상으로 수행하였으며, 2개 학급 중 1개 학급 41명을 실험집단으로, 다른 1개 학급 33명을 비교집단으로 선정하였다. 실험집단에는 2차시의 다중 표상 수업과 7가지 주제에 대한 전통적인 방식의 수업을 처치하였고, 비교집단에는 다중 표상 수업을 제외하고 실험집단과 동일하게 수업을 진행하였다. 학생들이 작성한 Summary Writing의 분석 결과, 다중 표상의 내재성에 대한 실험집단의 평균이 비교집단에 비해 통계적으로 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다.

Throughout this paper, we denote that R is a near-ring and G an R-group. We initiate the study of R-substructures of G, representations of R on G, monogenic R-groups, faithful R-groups and faithful D.G. representations of near-rings. Next, we investigate some properties of monogenic near-ring groups, faithful monogenic near-ring groups, monogenic and faithful D.G. representations in near-rings.

본 연구는 연립일차방정식에 관한 문장제에서 IDEAL 문제 해결 모형을 바탕으로 "구조-표현"을 강조한 교수-학습을 실시하였을 때 학생들의 문제해결 과정을 탐구하였다. 연구 결과, 구조-표현을 강조한 학급의 학생들이 이를 강조하지 않은 학급의 학생들보다 문제해결 능력이 향상되었으며, 동치문제, 동형문제, 유사문제를 더 정확하게 구별하였다. 또한, 구조-표현을 강조한 학급의 학생들이 그렇지 않은 학급의 학생들보다 문맥에 대한 이해 및 불완전한 정보 추출에서의 오류, 미지수간의 내적 관계에 대한 수학적 기호표현으로의 불완전한 전이 오류, 적절하지 않은 방정식 생성 오류의 발생 빈도가 적었다. 그리고, IDEAL 문제 해결 모형의 문제의 확인 단계(I)와 문제의 정의 단계(D)에서 학생들이 문제 해결 계획을 수립하기 위해 문제를 읽고 이해하여 문제를 해결하는 과정을 중점적으로 분석한 결과, 직접 변환 모델과 구조 도식 모델이 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the first generation Korean-American mothers' attachment representation as well as the attachment representation of their second generation Korean-American college students. The subjects consisted of 25 first generation Korean-American mothers and 27 second generation college students residing in Los Angeles. The Adult Attachment Interview (George, Kaplan, & Main, 1985) was used for assessing attachment representation patterns. The results of this study were as follows. First, 36% of the subject mothers were classified as secure, 64% were insecurely attached and there was no unresolved/disorganized pattern in the insecure group. Second, 33% of the subject students were classified as secure. 67% were insecure on the AAI, and there was 4% unresolved/disorganized patterns in the insecure group. Third, a difference of 76% was found between the correspondence between the first generation Korean-American mothers' attachment representation pattern and the attachment representation of the second generation Korean-American college students.

In this short note, we consider a family of linear representations of the braid group and the fundamental group of a punctured torus bundle over the circle. We construct an irreducible (special) unitary representation of the fundamental group of a closed 3-manifold obtained by the Dehn filling.

In this work, the irreducible complex representations of degree 4 of $B_4$, the braid group on 4 strings, are classified. There are 4 families of representations: A two-parameter family of representations for which the image of $P_4$, the pure braid group on 4 strings, is abelian; two families of representations which are the composition of an irreducible representation of $B_3$, the braid group on 3 strings, with a certain special homomorphism $\pi : B_4 \longrightarrow B_3$; a family of representations which are the tensor product of 2 irreducible two-dimensional representations of $B_4$.

Subjects of this study were 621 children selected from 5th and 6th grades of elementary schools in Pusan. Factors associated with parents and peers varied by type of peer maladjustment(aggressive type and withdrawn type, compared with a control group). Particularly, the level of factors associated with peers varied from the control group by peer maladjusted types(aggressive types and, withdrawn types). Causal relationships of parents' rejection, victimization, negative representation by parents and by peers on child？s maladjustment varied by behavior types. Negative representation of peers had a direct effect only on withdrawal. On the other hand, negative representation of peers had no effect on aggression. Victimization had a first total effect on both withdrawal and aggression.
