기준 밀도계의 측정 오차 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Measurement Errors of Specific Gravity Meter)

  • 기준 밀도계는 기준 조건하에서 밀도를 측정하는 기기로서, 산업계에서 특히 대유량 천연가스 계량에 폭 넓게 사용된다. 본 연구에서는 기준 밀도계의 적정 설치 및 운영방안을 제시하여 천연가스 유량 측정 정확도를 향상시키고자 현장 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과, 교정가스로 메탄과 질소가스 대신 메탄과 표준가스로 교정한 실험결과가 작은 밀도오차를 발생하고, 정확한 밀도 측정을 위해서는 정기적인 교정이 필수적이며, 또한 기준 밀도계는 주위 조건에 민감하게 반응하여, 주위 온도가 높으면 오차가 증가하는 것도 확인되었다.

진동을 이용한 철도차량의 무게중심과 관성모멘트 현장 측정 (Field Measurement of the Center of Gravity and the Moment of Inertia of Railway Vehicles Using Vibration)

  • The center of gravity and the moment of inertia of railway vehicles are important parameters for running safety and stability in railway vehicle design. However, the exact measurement of those is difficult in manufacturing field. The weight measurement of a railway vehicle beneath the wheel using a weight scale is off by a large amount. This paper suggests a measurement method for the center of gravity and the moment of inertia of railway vehicles using vibration. For the measurement a railway vehicle is suspended using four wires. Direct measurement of the tension of the wires and the period of swinging motion of the suspended railway vehicle with calculations give the exact location of the center of gravity and the moment of inertia in x, y, and z directions, respectively. This implementation was demonstrated using an experimental device and verified numerically.

고등학교 지구과학 교과서의 중력 및 지구자기 관련 주요 개념의 분석 (A Main Concepts Analysis of Gravity and Geomagnetics of Earth Science Textbooks in High School)

  • This study is focused on the main concepts of gravity and geomagnetics which are introduced in the earth science textbooks of high school in 7th curriculum. This study examines the validity and accuracy of the Earth Science textbooks and shows some effective teaching plans by using the latest materials. This study also illustrates the main concepts of gravity and geomagnetics through presenting some effective and practical teaching-learning methods. The results of the study were as follows: First of all, a number of main concepts of six textbooks of high school were selected; the field of gravity, the direction and dimension of gravity, the measurement of gravity, the main reason of gravity anomaly and geoid, earth terrestrial magnetic field, secular variation of goemagnetics. Secondly, most Earth Science textbooks of high school explains the main concepts of the gravity and geomagnetics in similar ways. Those textbooks, however, don't put an emphasis on the essential contents which has been regarded as important thing in terms of the current educational course of study. The high school textbooks also use the material which is too old-fashioned and has some problems of accuracy and validity. Especially, many main concepts of the textbooks and scientific data(such as the direction of gravity, the measurement of gravity, the main reason of gravity anomaly, the use of geoid, secular variation) are different with those of South Korea, In addition, some materials(graphs and diagrams) are very old ones and they don't have authentic information.Finally, Among the various main concepts, some important ideas (the direction of the gravity and the method of measuring gravity, the measurement and use of gravity anomaly, the definition of geoid and secular variation of geomagnetics) should be corrected by showing the latest and authentic materials.

충주호 주변의 중력 측정에 의한 옥천계의 중력이상 연구 (A Study on the Gravity Anomaly of Okcheon Group based on the Gravity Measurement around Chung Lake)

  • 변성암복합체, 옥천층군, 조선누층군 및 화성암류에서 지하 지질분포 및 밀도 불연속면을 파악하기 위해 충주호 주변에 있는 256개 지점에서 중력측정을 실시하였다. 부게 중력이상은 옥천층군에서 높은 값을 가지며 조선누층군으로 갈수록 상대적으로 낮은 값의 분포를 보였다. 지하 밀도 불연속면의 평균심도는 약 2.0 km이며, 전반적으로 문주리층과 황강리층이 서창리층보다 중력기반 심도가 상대적으로 얇으며, 옥천계 동측에 위치한 조선누층군이 옥천층군보다 비교적 두꺼운 기반 심도로 분포된 것으로 파악되었다.

  • Differential pressure type level measuring systems have been using widely for industrial applications like drum level measurements in power plants. Because of difficulties in specific gravity compensation for vapor and liquid inside the vessel and the sensing lines, this type of measuring systems reveal significant measuring error. In this paper, the major reason causing errors on the differential pressure type level measurement is analyzed and a method of more accurate calculation for specific gravity compensation is introduced.

  • The long-period gravity wave, the wave period from some ten seconds to some minutes, induces not only the big sway of a ship moored and berthed in the harbor due to the horizontal long-distance motion of a water but also strong exfoliated flow and vortices near the harbor entrance. They muse serious problems on the safety navigation of vessels entering and leaving the harbor, but this gravity wave has not been searched sufficiently yet. Then it is quite important to reveal the characteristics of this long-period gravity wave ana to solve various problems induced by this wave. The long-period gravity wave measurement system with arrayed buoys installed the kinematic GPS was already proposed, which provides the precise propagating direction of the long-period gravity wave. In this paper, the observation results of the wave measurement system are shown by the MUSIC method And the propagating wave direction was estimated precisely enough in comparison with other results used other method.

  • In contracts for sales of natural gas between sellers and buyers, it is not suncient to only measure a volumetric quantity of gas in flowing conditions in metering station. Therefore the measured volumetric quantity must be converted to that of reference conditions. The density of the natural gas required in such a calculation can be measured directly or estimated from the equation of sate or any other experimental methods. The specific gravity meter is the apparatus used to measure the density of fluids under the reference conditions and it can be widely used in industrial areas, especially in massive flow rate natural gas industry. This study has been carried out in an attempt to improve measurement accuracy of natural gas flow rate calculation, providing the adequate installation and proper operation conditions of specific gravity meter. The test results are 1) the density measurement errors in case of using methane and standard gas as calibration gases are smaller than using methane and nitrogen gas, 2) the periodical calibration to maintain accurate density measurements is essential, and 3) the specific gravity meter is sensitive to changes of environmental conditions, especially environmental temperature surrounding the specific gravity meter.

CG-5 상대중력계를 이용한 중력관측 및 중력망조정에 관한 연구 (Research for Gravity Measurements Using CG-5 Autograv System and Network Adjustment)

  • 중력측량은 지구중력장 결정, 지각의 수직운동, 지오이드면의 변화, 해수면변화, 기후변화 등 측지학적, 지구동력학적 연구의 기초이다. 국토지리정보원에서는 최근 들어 FG-5 절대중력계를 도입하여 절대중력 기준망의 구축을 위한 틀을 마련하였고 다차원 다기능 기준점인 통합기준점을 전국에 약 1,200점을 설치하여 상대중력측량을 실시함으로써 한국의 고정밀 지오이드모델의 개발에 큰 기여를 할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 상대중력측량의 기본적인 이론 및 방법을 상세하게 설명하였고, 최신 상대중력계 Scintrex CG-5를 이용하여 총 21점에 대한 상대중력측량을 수행하였으며, 자유망조정 및 무게제한 망조정 방법을 이용하여 중력성과를 계산 및 비교 분석하였다. 결과, 두 가지 방법 모두 높은 정밀도의 중력성과 계산이 가능하지만 자유망조정이 무게제한 망조정 방법에 비해 상대적인 우위를 보여주는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 연구에서는 현재 활발한 연구가 진행되고 있는 고정밀 지오이드 모델 개발에 있어서 중요한 요소 중 하나인 지상중력자료를 획득하기 위해 상대중력계를 이용하여 중력을 측정 하였다. 1등 수준노선 총 58점의 수준점에 대하여 상대중력측량을 실시하였고 이렇게 얻어진 중력값으로부터 지구조석보정 및 기계고 보정 후 자유망조정 방법을 이용하여 중력성과를 계산하였다. 이와 같은 방법을 통해 얻어지는 지상중력자료들은 고정밀 지오이드 모델 개발에 큰 기여를 할 것으로 판단된다.

  • A gravity survey is a base of research earth gravity field determined, perception of the vertical motion, change of Geoid, sea-level changes, climate change etc. Recently, FG-5 was adopted in NGII. NGII has completed 4 points of absolute gravity survey and 1,400 points of relative gravity survey in 2009 to aim to observe 20 points of absolute gravity survey and 6,000 points of gravity control point by 2013. Using results of gravity survey, NGII will provide citizen with data for research about renewal of geoid model and geophysics. This study aims to go over examples of utilization of absolute gravimeter & method of utilization in korea.
