  • Recently, some authors [3, 4, 11, 12, 15] adopted the concept of the so-called generalized R-KKM maps which are used to rewrite known results in the KKM theory. In the present paper, we show that those maps are simply KKM maps on G-convex spaces. Consequently, results on generalized R-KKM maps follow the corresponding previous ones on G-convex spaces.

  • The purpose of this paper is to study an implicit iteration process with errors and establish weak and strong convergence theorems to converge to common fixed points for a finite family of generalized asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive mappings in the framework of uniformly convex Banach spaces. Our results extend, improve and generalize some known results from the existing literature.

  • In the present paper, we introduce fundamental results in the KKM theory for G-convex spaces which are equivalent to the Brouwer theorem, the Sperner lemma, and the KKM theorem. Those results are all abstract versions of known corresponding ones for convex subsets of topological vector spaces. Some earlier applications of those results are indicated. Finally, We give a new proof of the Himmelberg fixed point theorem and G-convex space versions of the von Neumann type minimax theorem and the Nash equilibrium theorem as typical examples of applications of our theory.

  • Let (X, D; ${\Gamma}$) be a G-convex space and Y a Hausdorff space. Then $U^K_C$(X, Y) ${\subset}$ KD(X, Y), where $U^K_C$ is an admissible class (dup to Park) and KD denotes the class of multimaps having the KKM property for open-valued multimaps. This new result is used to obtain a KKM type theorem, matching theorems, a fixed point theorem, and a coincidence theorem.

  • Let g : X ⟶ Y and f : Y ⟶ Z be two maps between real normed linear spaces. Then f is called generalized isometry or g-isometry if for each x, y ∈ X, ║f(g(x)) - f(g(y))║ = ║g(x) - g(y)║. In this paper, under special hypotheses, we prove that each generalized isometry is affine. Some examples of generalized isometry are given as well.

  • In this paper, we establish strong and ∆-convergence theorems for new iteration process namely S-R iteration process for a generalized α-nonexpansive mappings in a uniformly convex hyperbolic space and also we show that our iteration process is faster than other iteration processes appear in the current literature's. Our results extend the corresponding results of Ullah et al. [5], Imdad et al. [16] in the setting of uniformly convex hyperbolic spaces and many more in this direction.

  • In this paper, we study the following extended generalized variational inequality problem, introduced by Noor (for short, EGVI) : Given a closed convex subset K in q-uniformly smooth Banach space B, three nonlinear mappings T : $K\;{\rightarrow}\;B^*$, g : $K\;{\rightarrow}\;K$, h : $K\;{\rightarrow}\;K$ and a vector ${\xi}\;{\in}\;B^*$, find $x\;{\in}\;K$, $h(x)\;{\in}\;K$ such that $\xi$, g(y)-h(x)> $\geq$ 0, for all $y\;{\in}\;K$, $g(y)\;{\in}\;K$. [see [2]: M. Aslam Noor, Extended general variational inequalities, Appl. Math. Lett. 22 (2009) 182-186.] By using sunny nonexpansive retraction $Q_K$ and the well-known Banach's fixed point principle, we prove existence results for solutions of (EGVI). Our results extend some recent results from the literature.
