  • A large number of sequences of polynomials and numbers have arisen in mathematics. Some of them, for example, Bernoulli polynomials and numbers, have been investigated deeply and widely. Here we aim at presenting certain interesting and (potentially) useful identities involving mainly in the second-order Eulerian numbers and Stirling polynomials, which seem to have not been given so much attention.

  • Several addition formulas for a general class of q-Appell sequences are proved. The q-addition formulas, which are derived, involved not only the generalized q-Bernoulli, the generalized q-Euler and the generalized q-Genocchi polynomials, but also the q-Stirling numbers of the second kind and several general families of hypergeometric polynomials. Some q-umbral calculus generalizations of the addition formulas are also investigated.

  • The article is themed to classify new (fully) degenerate Hermite-Bernoulli polynomials with formulation in terms of p-adic fermionic integrals on $\mathbb{Z}_p$. The entire paper is designed to illustrate new properties in association with Daehee polynomials in a consolidated and generalized form.

  • In this paper, we consider the q-Volkenborn integral of uniformly differentiable functions on the p-adic integer ring. By using this integral, we obtain the generating functions of twisted q-generalized Bernoulli numbers and polynomials. We find some properties of these numbers and polynomials.

  • The goal of this paper is to define p-adic Hardy sums and p-adic q-higher-order Hardy-type sums. By using these sums and p-adic q-higher-order Dedekind sums, we construct p-adic continuous functions for an odd prime. These functions contain padic q-analogue of higher-order Hardy-type sums. By using an invariant p-adic q-integral on $\mathbb{Z}_p$, we give fundamental properties of these sums. We also establish relations between p-adic Hardy sums, Bernoulli functions, trigonometric functions and Lambert series.

  • A remarkably large number of integral formulas have been investigated and developed. Certain large number of integral formulas are expressed as derivatives of some known functions. Here we choose to recall such a formula to present explicit expressions in terms of Gamma function, Psi function and Polygamma functions. Some simple interesting special cases of our main formulas are also considered. It is also pointed out that the same argument can establish explicit integral formulas for other those expressed in terms of derivatives of some known functions.

  • We first review Ramaswami's find Apostol's identities involving the Zeta function in a rather detailed manner. We then present corrected, or generalized formulas, or a different method of proof for some of them. We also give closed-form evaluation of some series involving the Riemann Zeta function by an integral representation of ζ(s) and Apostol's identities given here.

  • Let $F_0$ be the maximal real subfield of $\mathbb{Q}({\zeta}_q+{\zeta}_q^{-1})$ and $F_{\infty}={\cup}_{n{\geq}0}F_n$ be its basic $\mathbb{Z}_p$-extension. Let $A_n$ be the Sylow $p$-subgroup of the ideal class group of $F_n$. The aim of this paper is to examine the injectivity of the natural $mapA_n{\rightarrow}A_m$ induced by the inclusion $F_n{\rightarrow}F_m$ when $m>n{\geq}0$. By using cyclotomic units of $F_n$ and by applying cohomology theory, one gets the following result: If $p$ does not divide the order of $A_1$, then $A_n{\rightarrow}A_m$ is injective for all $m>n{\geq}0$.

  • In 1859, Bernhard Riemann, in his epoch-making memoir, extended the Euler zeta function $\zeta$(s) (s > 1; $s{\in}\mathbb{R}$) to the Riemann zeta function $\zeta$(s) ($\Re$(s) > 1; $s{\in}\mathbb{C}$) to investigate the pattern of the primes. Sine the time of Euler and then Riemann, the Riemann zeta function $\zeta$(s) has involved and appeared in a variety of mathematical research subjects as well as the function itself has been being broadly and deeply researched. Among those things, we choose to make a further investigation of the following subjects: Evaluation of $\zeta$(2k) ($k {\in}\mathbb{N}$); Approximate functional equations for $\zeta$(s); Series involving the Riemann zeta function.
