  • In this study, we use the generalized Tanaka-Webster connection on a trans-Sasakian manifold of type (${\alpha},{\beta}$) and obtain the curvature tensors of a trans-Sasakian manifold with respect to this connection. Also, we investigate some special curvature conditions of a trans-Sasakian manifold with respect to generalized Tanaka-Webster connection and finally, give an example for trans-Sasakian manifolds.

  • We prove the stability of a generalized Cauchy functional equation of the form ; $$f(a_1x+a_2y)=b_1f(x)+b_2f(y)+w.$$ That is, we obtain a partial answer for the open problem which was posed by the Th.M Rassias and J. Tabor on the stability for a generalized functional equation.

  • In this paper, we study a class of variational inequalities, which is called the generalized set-valued mixed variational inequality. By using the properties of the resolvent operator associated with a maximal monotone mapping in Hilbert spaces, we have established an existence theorem of solutions for generalized set-valued mixed variational inequalities, suggesting a new iterative algorithm and a perturbed proximal point algorithm for finding approximate solutions which strongly converge to the exact solution of the generalized set-valued mixed variational inequalities.

  • Skewed t distributions have attracted significant attention in the last few years. In this paper, a generalization - referred to as the skewed generalized t distribution - with the pdf f(x) = 2g(x)G(${\lambda}x$) is introduced, where g(${\cdot}$) and G (${\cdot}$) are taken, respectively, to be the pdf and the cdf of the generalized t distribution due to McDonald and Newey (1984, 1988). Several particular cases of this distribution are identified and various representations for its moments derived. An application is provided to rainfall data from Orlando, Florida.

  • In this paper we study the Fibonacci numbers and derive some interesting properties and recurrence relations. We prove some charecterizations for $F_p$, where p is a prime of a certain type. We also define period of a Fibonacci sequence modulo an integer, m and derive certain interesting properties related to them. Afterwards, we derive some new properties of a class of generalized Fibonacci numbers. In the last part of the paper we introduce some generalized Fibonacci polynomial sequences and we derive some results related to them.

  • The use of the zeros of Chebyshev polynomial of the first kind $T_{4n+4(x}$ ) and second kind $U_{2n+1}$ (x) for Gauss-Chebyshev quad-rature and collocation of singular integral equations of Cauchy type yields computationally accurate solutions over other combinations of $T_{n}$ /(x) and $U_{m}$(x) as in [8]. We show that the coefficient matrix of the overdetermined system has the generalized inverse. We estimate the residual error using the norm of the generalized inverse.e.

  • In relation to the generalized Tanaka-Webster connection, we consider a new notion of parallel structure Jacobi operator for real hypersurfaces in complex two-plane Grassmannians and prove the non-existence of real hypersurfaces in $G_2({\mathbb{C}}^{m+2})$ with generalized Tanaka-Webster parallel structure Jacobi operator.

  • In this paper we introduce generalized weakly semi-conformally symmetric manifold, a generalization of weakly symmetric manifold. We study some basic properties and obtain the forms of the scalar curvature of such manifold. In the last section an example is given to ensure the existence of such manifold.

  • In this paper, we introduce the notion of symmetric bi-generalized derivation of lattice implication algebra L and investigated some related properties. Also, we prove that a map $F:L{\times}L{\rightarrow}L$ is a symmetric bi-generalized derivation associated with symmetric bi-derivation D on L if and only if F is a symmetric map and it satisfies $F(x{\rightarrow}y,z)=x{\rightarrow}F(y,z)$ for all $x,y,z{\in}L$.
