  • In general tile evaluation process of rock slope stability is an ambiguous system which is made up of ideas subjected to practical experience of an expert. This paper aims to propose more effective methods that helps engineers to evaluate the stability of rock slope by using RMR(Rock Mass Rating for the Geomechanics Classification) and Stereo-graphic Projection and Fuzzy Approximate Reasoning Concept. the result of this paper is that a rational evaluation of rock slope stability and countermeasures can be achieved thorough RMR. and Stereo-graphic Projection and Fuzzy Approximate Reasoning Concept.

  • This paper presents a method for propagating fuzzy concepts through fuzzy IF-THEN-ELSE rules. A fuzzy IF-THEN-ELSE rule consists of a set of fuzzy condition and conclusion pairs. These pairs assumed to contain informations about a fuzzy mapping from fuzzy concepts of condition parts to the fuzzy concepts of conclusion parts. Conventionally, vectors are used to define fuzzy concepts and matrices are used to define a fuzzy mapping between fuzzy conditions and conclusions. This approach, however, does not satisfy the existing condition property, i.e., when a fuzzy input data exactly matches to a fuzzy condition, fuzzy output data should be mapped to a corresponding fuzzy conclusion. Alternatively, we propose a parameterized approach in which every fuzzy concept is described by a parameterized standard function, including fuzzy conditions and fuzzy conclusions. A fuzzy IF-THEN-ELSE rule takes the parameterized fuzzy concept as an input, and produces a standard function with new parameters as an output. New parameters are determined by a parameterwise interpolation. That is, each output parameters are determined by interpolating parameters of the same class contained in fuzzy conclusions. Obviously, the proposed scheme always satisfies the existing condition property.

  • After the introduction of fuzzy sets by Zadeh, there have been a number of generalizations of this fundamental concept. The notion of intuitionistic fuzzy sets introduced by Aranassov is one among them. In this paper, we apply the concept of an intuitionistic fuzzy set to commutative ideals in BCK-algebras. The notion of an intuitionistic fuzzy commutative ideal of a BCK-algebra is introduced, and some related properties are investigated. Characterizations of an intuitionistic fuzzy commutative ideal are given. Conditions for an intuitionistic fuzzy ideal to be an intuitionistic fuzzy commutative ideal are given. Using a collection of commutative ideals, intuitionistic fuzzy commutative ideals are established.

  • We introduce the concept of an interval-valued fuzzy generalized bi-ideal of a semigroup, which is an extension of the concept of an interval-valued fuzzy bi-ideal (and of a noninterval-valued fuzzy bi-ideal and a noninterval-valued fuzzy ideal of a semi-group), and characterize regular semigroups, and both intraregular and left quasiregular semigroup in terms of interval-valued fuzzy generalized bi-ideals.

  • We introduce the concept of fuzzy $r$-minimal ${\beta}$-open set on a fuzzy minimal space and basic some properties. We also introduce the concept of fuzzy $r-M$ ${\beta}$-continuous mapping which is a generalization of fuzzy $r-M$ continuous mapping and fuzzy $r-M$ semicontinuous mapping, and investigate characterization for the continuity.

  • In this study, an attempt is made to apply the concept of fuzzy-bayesian theory to the integrity assessment of structure system, and uncertainty states are represented in terms of fuzzy sets which define several linguistic variables such as "very good", "good", "average", "poor", "very poor", etc. Especially, the concept of fuzzy conditional probability aids to derive a new reliability analysis which includes the subjective assessment of engineers without introducing any additional correction factors. The fuzzy concept are also used as reliability indexes for the condition assessment based on the proposed models, the proposed fuzzy theory-based approach with the results of PEM and AFOSM are applied to retaining wall.
