자동차산업 근로자의 직무스트레스와 근골격계질환 자각증상과의 연관성 (A Study on the Relationship between Job Stress and Subjective Symptoms Associated with Musculoskeletal Disorders of the Workers at Automobile Manufacturing Industry)

  • MSDs(Musculoskeletal Disorders) and Job Stress have been recognized as one of major problems in industry these days according to the results of most industrial health/safety studies. Specifically, MSDs have been growing problems in Korea as well as in US and European countries with higher incidence rate every year. This study tries to understand characteristics of job stress and association between MSDs and job stress for the workers at automobile manufacturing industry. This study also tries to understand the differences in terms of job stress between white collar and blue collar workers. The results showed that there was definite association between symptoms of MSDs and some of major job stress factors. However, there were big differences in terms of associations between two groups(white collar and blue collar workers). The first group(white collar workers) showed more associations between symptoms of MSDs and some of major job stress factors than that of the second group(blue collar workers) although symptom rate of the second group was higher than that of the first group. It could be concluded that symptoms of the first group had more effects from job stress while symptoms of the second group had more effects from typical job risk factors based on the results of the study.

서울시 일부 치과위생사의 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Seoul some dental hygienist in the factors affecting job satisfaction study)

  • Purpose : First, this study is to look into difference between dental hygienists' demographic characteristics and their job satisfaction by examining their demographic characteristics and job satisfaction. Second, this study is to analyze demographic factors of dental hygienists which influence their job satisfaction. Method : This study was made through mail survey with questionnaires for dental hygienists who are personally performing dental hygienist duties at dental clinics in Seoul between June 19 and July 24, 2008 by looking into factors influencing dental hygienists' job satisfaction in order to provide them as background data to enhance their job satisfaction. Total 180 questionnaires were distributed, and among these, 156 questionnaires excluding 24 questions of incomplete responses were statistically analyzed with SPSS 12.0. Result : First, the total mean of dental hygienists' job satisfaction was found to be 2.99 points out of 5 points, and that of their autonomy to be the highest as 3.26, and that of their salary to be the lowest as 2.55. Second, for relation between general characteristics and job satisfaction of dental hygienists, significant difference was found just in job experience(p<0.05), current position(p<0.05), average salary(p<0.001), and the expected period of engagement in dental hygienist duties(p<0.01). Third, descriptive power on demographic characteristics, which were used as an independent variable influencing their job satisfaction, was found to be 17.7%, and among the said factors, average salary had a statistically significant effect on their job satisfaction(p<0.01). Conclusion : The point of salary factor was lowest among 5 factors composing dental hygienists' job satisfaction, and as a result of multiple regression analysis, a factor influencing job satisfaction was average salary. Therefore salary system is required to be improved in order to increase their job satisfaction, and further studies on factors influencing their job satisfaction are also required to be made.

청년 고용 문제, 눈높이 때문인가? (High and Downwardly Rigid Reservation Wages are Responsible for the Youth Joblessness?)

  • 본 연구는 청년층의 고용문제가 눈높이 조절의 실패에 기인한다는 주장을 "한국노동패널"을 이용한 실증 분석을 통해 비판적으로 검토하였다. 의중임금의 동태적인 변화를 통한 분석을 통해, 눈높이 격차가 존재하는 것은 사실이지만, 기간의 경과에 따라 시장임금을 고려하여 의중임금이 조정되고 있음을 밝혔다. 또한 노동시장 이행경험을 노동시장 진입과정을 넘어서 노동시장 정착과정으로 확장하여, 직업경력에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것은 첫 일자리를 획득하기까지의 소요기간이 아니라 첫 일자리의 질과 불안정한 취업경험임을 밝혔다. 이는 청년층의 비취업 문제가 좋은 일자리만을 선호하기 때문이라기보다는 괜찮은 일자리의 감소와 노동시장의 이중화라는 노동시장의 구조적인 문제에 기인함을 시사한다.

유아교사의 직무만족도와 교사효능감 및 직무스트레스의 관계 연구 (A Study on the Relationships between Job Satisfaction, Teacher Efficacy, and Job Stress of Early Childhood Teachers)

  • The aim of this study is to examine the influence of job stress and teacher efficacy on early childhood teachers' job satisfaction levels. Data from 321 early childhood teachers working in kindergarten and child-care centers located in Incheon metropolitan city were collected. The data was analyzed by means of the SPSS 18.0 package. The results of this study were as follow; first, job stress was negatively correlated with job satisfaction. Job satisfaction levels were positively correlated with teacher efficacy. Secondly, job stress had a negative influence on job satisfaction levels. Teacher efficacy had a positive influence on job satisfaction levels. Thirdly, job stress had a directly negative influence on job satisfaction levels. It was also revealed that teacher efficacy had an indirect effect on the relationship between job stress and job satisfaction levels.

뷰티 종사자의 직무스트레스와 소진 및 직무만족의 관계 (Relationship between job stress, burnout, and job satisfaction of beauty workers)

  • This study examined the relationship between job stress, burnout, and job satisfaction perceived by 185 beauty workers. Analysis and structural model analyses were conducted to derive the main results. The results are summarized and presented as follows. First, the job stress perceived by beauty workers has a statistically significant positive effect on burnout. Second, job stress perceived by beauty workers has a statistically significant negative effect on job satisfaction. Third, burnout felt by beauty workers has a statistically significant negative effect on job satisfaction. Through the above results, job stress and burnout should be lowered in order to increase the job satisfaction of beauty workers, and in particular, job stress must effectively be lowered in consideration of the fact that job stress is a determinant that increases burnout and reduces job satisfaction. A method must be discovered to achieve this end.

콜센터 종사자의 직무스트레스와 직무만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Job Stress and Job Satisfaction of Call Center Employees)

  • Purpose - Although various studies have been conducted on the stress of service employees, there are still lack of studies regarding job stress and job satisfaction of call center workers. Especially there are quite few studies on the job stress according to employment type. This study focused on job stress and job satisfaction for call center employees and the correlation between the two factors and aimed to provide basic materials for seeking for the plans to reduce job stress and improve job satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology - Frequency, percentage, and mean value were calculated through descriptive statistics in order to find out demographic characteristics, level of job stress, and job satisfaction. Differences in job stress according to employment type were calculated by using one-way ANOVA. Correlation between job stress and job satisfaction were identified through empirical analysis with Pearson's correlation coefficient. 150 materials were used for final analysis. The collected materials were analyzed to get statistics by using SPSS 20. Results - First, as for the job stress of call center workers, overall mean value was 2.54 in 4-point scales. Among the six sub-factors, job demands had the highest score, which was 2.67. Second, as for the job stress according to employment type, others showed higher score than mean value followed by contract job and full-time job in that order, in terms of job insecurity and organizational system. In terms of inappropriate remuneration, contract job showed higher score than mean value followed by others and full-time job. Third, as for the satisfaction with job, the mean value was 2.37 in 4-point scale and "very much satisfied" was only 3.3%. Lastly, in terms of job stress and job satisfaction, all sub-factors except for job demands showed significant correlation. The more job stress increased, the more job satisfaction decreased. Conclusions - First, as a result of analyzing job stress according to the employment type of call center workers, job stress increased more when the employment type was not full-time. Therefore, it was assumed that self-rescue efforts should be followed for effective employment management of call center business where contract employment takes most part as well as efforts to transfer them to full-time job. Second, decrease in job satisfaction of call center workers may affect the performance of an organization as well as service quality of the company providing the service. Therefore, various supports are required to decrease job stress and increase job satisfaction for call center workers through the expansion of rest area or break time. Third, I could recognize that there were lack of academic research on call center business in the whole service industry. Therefore, further research should be conducted more actively in the future. In particular, this study has special significance in the aspect that there were few studies on the job stress of call center workers according to employment type.

University Student Characteristics of Type of Job Values and Key Competency

  • This study is aimed to determine types of job values which is searched by 242 university student in Gwangju, to study characteristics of each type, and to analyze key competency of each type. The data were analyed with PASW 18.0 using frequency analysis, k-mean cluster analysis, crosstabs and one-way ANOVA. According to findings, first of all, university student types of job values are divided into 4 groups; a type of intrinsic job values(27.7%), a type of active job value(32.2%), a type of external job value(12.4%), a type of passive job value(27.7%). Secondly, the type of job values showed statistically significant difference only in the monthly allowance of socio-economic variables. Thirdly, the type of job values showed statistically significant difference 'communication', 'mathematics', 'problem solving', 'self development', 'resource management', 'interpersonal skills', 'technical ability', 'understanding organizations' and 'work ethics'.

경호경비 관련인력 수급실태 분석 - 고용노동부의 직업분류를 중심으로 - (Analysis on Supply and Demand Status of Security Manpower - Focusing on Job Classification of Ministry of Employment and Labor -)

  • 본 연구는 경호경비 관련인력 수급현황에 대한 연구의 필요성을 인식하고 경호경비 관련인력 수급 실태 및 추이, 경호경비 관련인력의 직능별 미충원 실태 및 추이를 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위하여 MS-EXCEL 2010을 활용하여 그래프 및 추세선(3차 다항식)으로 추이를 분석하였다. 이를 통하여 도출한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2009년 상반기부터 2015년 상반기까지 경호경비 관련인력 수급 현황 및 추이를 분석한 결과, 전체 경호경비 관련인력 부족률은 1.2% ~ 1.6%로 나타났다. 둘째, 2009년 상반기부터 2013년 하반기까지 경호경비 관련인력의 직능별 미충원 현황 및 추이를 분석한 결과, 전체 경호경비 관련인력의 직능별 미충원 현황은 직능1수준 785명 ~ 2,557명 범위에서 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 경호경비 관련인력의 수급을 위해서는 (1) 인력수급 추이 및 전망에 따른 경호경비 관련인력 양성, (2) 직능별 수준을 고려한 경호경비 관련인력의 전문성 확보, (3) 국가직무능력표준(NCS)을 활용한 경호경비 전문인력 육성 등에 대한 관심을 제고하여야 할 것이다.

간호학과 신입생의 간호사이미지, 직업가치관이 간호전문직관에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Nursing Image, Job Value on Nursing Professionalism of First Year Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호학과 신입생들의 간호사 이미지, 직업가치관이 간호전문직관에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위함이다. 대상자는 D시에 소재하고 있는 대학교의 간호학과 신입생 306명이며, 2018년 5월 7일부터 5월 14일까지 설문조사를 실시하였고, 자료 분석은 SPSS 22.0 프로그램으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 대상자의 간호사 이미지 정도는 4.12점, 직업가치관은 3.12점, 간호전문직관은 3.98점이었다. 간호전문직관은 직업가치관, 간호사 이미지와 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 간호전문직관을 설명하는 유의한 변수는 간호사 이미지, 직업가치관이었고, 전체 설명력은 69%이었다. 따라서 간호학과 신입생의 간호전문직관을 높이기 위해서는 간호사 이미지를 높이는 제도적인 교육과 전략이 필요하며 간호사의 직업에 대한 가치관을 높일 수 있는 방안 마련이 필요하다.

공대생의 일 경험이 첫 일자리 성공에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Engineering College Students' Work Experience on the Success of the First Job Success)

  • 이 연구는 공과대학 재학 중 일 경험이 노동 시장 진입에 미치는 영향을 탐구했다. 이를 위해, 공학 전공자와 다른 전공 학생들의 취업 준비 행동 중 일 경험과 첫 일자리 성공 간 관계를 비교하였다. 다음으로, 공대생이 경험한 인턴십과 같은 직장 경험이 졸업 후 첫 직장에 적응하고 고용을 유지하는 데 미치는 영향을 분석했다. 특히, 공대생의 노동 시장 진입에 영향을 미치는 요인들의 상대적 영향력을 분석함으로써, 공대생의 취업 성공을 위해 대학 차원에서 어떤 정책적 노력이 이루어질 수 있는지 제시하였다. 연구 결과, 인턴십 등의 일 경험이 공학계열 학생들의 취업의 질에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 성별에 관계 없이 모든 공학계열 학생들에게 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 밝혔다.
