This paper deals with a 'Designeer' education program that has a specific objective of educating design to undergraduate students in mechanical engineering with the aim of enhancing their ability of collaboration with designers when they are going to work in the field after graduation. The entire curriculum of the Designeer education program is introduced first, the end of which two-semester Capstone Design Courses for senior students is offered to let them practice all the knowledge and skills in a project-based learning environment. Learning specific matters such as sketching & visual thinking, prototyping and user experience design is one thing and practicing those knowledge and skills into a Capstone Design project is another. At this point, design thinking process needs to be in place to give students a foresight of one-year journey and to ensure that they will produce a desirable, feasible and viable product at the end of the year when they define the right problem at the beginning. Their frustrations and discoveries while applying design thinking throughout the year is explained by taking an example of a Robot Vacuum Cleaner design project. Finally, we provide real examples of effective methods to practice divergent and convergent phases.
With the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, discussions on the use of artificial intelligence are actively taking place in many fields, and various policies for nurturing artificial intelligence talents are being promoted in the field of education. In this study, we propose a robot programming framework using artificial intelligence technology, and based on this, we use Python, which is used frequently in the machine learning field, and an educational robot that is highly utilized in the field of education to provide artificial intelligence. (AI) education program was proposed. The level of autonomous driving (levels 0-5) suggested by the International Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) is simplified to four levels, and based on this, the camera attached to the robot recognizes and detects lines (objects). The goal was to make a line detector that can move by itself. The developed program is not a standardized form of solving a given problem by simply using a specific programming language, but has the experience of defining complex and unstructured problems in life autonomously and solving them based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology. It is meaningful.

Studying abroad in and of itself should be a unique and transformational learning experience for university students. Too often, "study abroad" is a code word for "faculty vacation" or "easy credit hours". For an international learning experience to be truly transformational it must offer an intense and directed program that maximizes the time the student spends in the accumulation of information that is new or different from what the student has "learned" previously. "Study abroad" may be a misnomer because it is not only about studying in another country or culture, that is, taking courses that usually have an attendance time of a few hours a week, but it is also about living in another country which becomes a 24/7 learning experience. Providing these programs during the Covid-19 pandemic has been a keen opportunity for institutional learning. When this immersion in foreign culture is combined with academic rigor applied to a student's chosen field of study the growth can be exponential. So, what is the relationship between academic and personal growth? The National Association for Study Abroad has found that "students who have studied abroad are better able to work with people from other countries, understand the complexity of global issues, and have greater intercultural learning. One study found that students returned from their study abroad experiences more tolerant and less fearful of other countries, but with a greater sense of nationalism-a phenomenon they called 'enlightened nationalism'." It is often said that "you only really learn to appreciate things that are important to you when they are gone, when you miss them." The international learning environment can provide this opportunity. The restrictions on various societies in the past two years due to the international Covid pandemic have provided existing study abroad programs with a true testing ground for the validity of their programs. At the end of the day, American colleges and universities are not helpless in the face of these developments. A lot depends on how a university positions itself for a future based on the uncertainties of the past. As Winston Churchill was working to form the United Nations after WWII, he famously said, "Never let a good crisis go to waste". In another context, Churchill's insight on human nature can also be applied to the coming semesters and years as studying abroad rebounds. What new strategies will be developed and maintained? Institutional commitment without fear will be necessary to assure that "studying abroad" will continue to develop as a truly unique and transformational learning experience.
Purpose: This study aims to provide essential data for developing educational methods and content, tailored for the prehospital field situation, by analyzing the effects of education regarding the management of cardiac arrest. Methods: This study is a primitive experimental study of 55 new firefighters in C Fire Service Academy. Data were collected from the training which was imparted using the CPR virtual reality simulation program (CBS 2.0) in accordance with COVID-19 quarantine rules and social distancing. Data were analyzed utilizing SPSS version 25.0. Results: After VR simulation training, knowledge about performing CPR (14.85) and self-efficacy (4.12) were significantly high (p<.001). Learning immersion was also high (3.99±0.59), but learning satisfaction was even higher (4.34±0.62). Depending on the recruitment field, firefighters showed higher learning immersion (4.04±0.58 vs 3.68±0.63) and self-efficacy (4.16±0.55 vs 3.91±0.84) than 119 EMTs' but, there was no significant difference between them. In contrast, The quality of performance of CPR by EMT's was significantly higher than that of firefighters (p=.025). Depending on previous simulation experience, there was no significant difference among dependent variables. Conclusion: Virtual reality simulation shows positive results in learning immersion, learning satisfaction, self-efficacy, and performance of CPR. Therefore, we propose that virtual reality simulation training can be a new educational paradigm.

Under this research, the survey is made on the definitive influence of the first-year education process of the science focus school for each of humanities, science and science core courses and the level of satisfaction of the non-curriculum experiment activity program for each course to find out the effectiveness of the first-year education process of the science focus school. For this purpose, this research has set three research issues. First, By clarifying the research result through the first-year education curriculum for science core school, noticeable change was observed for science focus school students through the change of attitude related to science for each desired course of students. Second, in the self-directed learning characteristics change, there was meaningful change for each desired field of students. Students hoping for humanities curriculum had great help in improvement of creative thinking for openness, creativeness and the like, but the influence was slightly insufficient in the moderation and control capability on themselves in learning attitude. Third, By analyzing the research result comprehensively, the first-year education curriculum for science core school provides high level of tailored science learning for the science focus school students and the level of satisfaction for students was significantly high.
