  • In this paper, we shall show the existence of solutions of the following nonlinear partial differential equation $$ {^{divA(-\Delta u) = f(x, u, \Delta u) in \Omega}^{u = 0 on \partial\Omega} $$ where $f(x, u, \Delta u) = -u$\mid$\Delta u$\mid$^{p-2} + h, p \geq 2, h \in L^\infty$.

  • We study the following nonlinear problem $-div(w(x){\mid}{\nabla}u{\mid}^{p(x)-2}{\nabla}u)+{\mid}u{\mid}^{p(x)-2}u={\lambda}f(x,u)$ in ${\Omega}$ which is subject to Neumann boundary condition. Under suitable conditions on w and f, we give the existence of a positive infimum eigenvalue for the p(x)-Laplacian Neumann problem.

  • We study a class of quasilinear wave equations with strong and nonlinear viscosity. By using the perturbation method for semilinear parabolic equations, we have established the fundamental results on existence, uniqueness and continuous dependence on data of weak solutions.

  • We consider a class of discrete parameter processes on a locally compact Polish space $S$ arising from successive compositions of strictly stationary Markov random maps on $S$ into itself. Sufficient conditions for the existence of the stationary solution and the weak convergence of the distributions of $\{\Gamma_n \Gamma_{n-1} \cdots \Gamma_0x \}$ are given.

  • In this paper, we show the existence of a weak solution for a stochastic differential equation driven by an additive fractional Brownian sheet with Hurst parameters H, H' > 1/2, and a drift coefficient satisfying the linear growth condition. The result is obtained using a suitable Girsanov theorem for the fractional Brownian sheet.

  • We have discovered some parametics $\lambda$ in the Black-Scholes equation which depend on the interest rate $\gamma$ and the Volatility $\sigma$ and later is named the parametic interest. On studying the parametic interest $\lambda$, we found that such $\lambda$ gives the sufficient condition for the existence of solutions of the Black-Scholes equation which is either weak or strong solutions.

  • We study the existence of weak solution for the stationary Nordstr$\ddot{o}$m-Vlasov equations in a bounded domain. The proof follows by fixed point method. The asymptotic behavior for large light speed is analyzed as well. We justify the convergence towards the stationary Vlasov-Poisson model for stellar dynamics.

  • We study bifurcation for the following fractional Schrödinger equation $$\{\left.\begin{eqnarray}(-{\Delta})^su+V(x)u&=&{\lambda}f(u)&&{\text{in}}\;{\Omega}\\u&>&0&&{\text{in}}\;{\Omega}\\u&=&0&&{\hspace{32}}{\text{in}}\;{\mathbb{R}}^n{\backslash}{\Omega}\end{eqnarray}\right$$ where 0 < s < 1, n > 2s, Ω is a bounded smooth domain of ℝn, (-∆)s is the fractional Laplacian of order s, V is the potential energy satisfying suitable assumptions and λ is a positive real parameter. The nonlinear term f is a positive nondecreasing convex function, asymptotically linear that is $\lim_{t{\rightarrow}+{\infty}}\;{\frac{f(t)}{t}}=a{\in}(0,+{\infty})$. We discuss the existence, uniqueness and stability of a positive solution and we also prove the existence of critical value and the uniqueness of extremal solutions. We take into account the types of Bifurcation problem for a class of quasilinear fractional Schrödinger equations, we also establish the asymptotic behavior of the solution around the bifurcation point.

  • This paper considers an anisotropic polytropic infiltration equation with a source term $$u_t={\sum\limits_{i=1}^{N}}{\frac{{\partial}}{{\partial}x_i}}\(a_1(x){\mid}u{\mid}^{{\alpha}_i}{\mid}u_{x_i}{\mid}^{p_i-2}u_{x_i}\)+f(x,t,u)$$, where pi > 1, αi > 0, ai(x) ≥ 0. The existence of weak solution is proved by parabolically regularized method. Based on local integrability $u_{x_i}{\in}W_{loc}^{1,p_i}(\Omega)$, the stability of weak solutions is proved without boundary value condition by the weak characteristic function method. One of the essential characteristics of an anisotropic equation different from an isotropic equation is found originally.
