  • In this paper we discussed Euler-Maruyama method for stochastic differential equations with jump diffusion. We give a convergence result for Euler-Maruyama where the coefficients of the stochastic differential equation are locally Lipschitz and the pth moments of the exact and numerical solution are bounded for some p > 2.

  • The interdisciplinary study explores the Euler's theology through his mathematical landmarks. From the mathematico-theological perspective, we first address Euler's theological backgrounds, and then show the implications of Euler's identity as his mathematical Christology.

  • We derive a family of non-linear differential equations from the generating functions of the Euler polynomials and study the solutions of these differential equations. Then we give some new and interesting identities and formulas for the Euler polynomials of higher order by using our non-linear differential equations.

  • We use the definition of Euler polynomials of the second kind with (p, q)-numbers to identify some identities and properties of these polynomials. We also investigate some relationships between (p, q)-Euler polynomials of the second kind, (p, q)-Bernoulli polynomials, and (p, q)-tangent polynomials by using the properties of (p, q)-exponential function.

  • We establish some new combinatorial identities involving Euler polynomials and balancing (Lucas-balancing) polynomials. The derivations use elementary techniques and are based on functional equations for the respective generating functions. From these polynomial relations, we deduce interesting identities with Fibonacci and Lucas numbers, and Euler numbers. The results must be regarded as companion results to some Fibonacci-Bernoulli identities, which we derived in our previous paper.

  • Degenerate versions of the special polynomials and numbers since they have many applications in analytic number theory, combinatorial analysis and p-adic analysis. In this paper, we define the degenerate poly-Euler numbers and polynomials arising from the modified polyexponential functions. We derive explicit relations for these numbers and polynomials. Also, we obtain some identities involving these polynomials and some other special numbers and polynomials.

  • In this paper, we introduce a new generalized (a, b)-cubic Euler-Lagrange-Jensen functional equation and obtain its general solution. Furthermore, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the new generalized (a, b)-cubic Euler-Lagrange-Jensen functional equation in orthogonality normed spaces.

  • In this study, the main focus is the simulation of acoustic wave scattering in trailing edge and the analysis of the generation mechanism of instability wave by the interaction of trailing edge, shear flow and initial disturbance. The numerical algorithm is based on CFD/CAA hybrid method with high-order computational aeroacoustic method. It is found that steady mean flow gradient terms play a crucial role on the generation of instability wave through the comparison of simulations of Simple Linearized Euler Equation and Full Linearized Euler Equation. Through the comparison with the results of Full Navier-Stokes Equation, it is reasonable and efficient to use the Full Linearized Euler Equation in the initial generation mechanism of the instability wave near the trailing edge.
