  • Nowadays, IT that leads information era is closely connected to our lives. The importance of training human resources for global empowerment on IT is being emphasized all over the world. With the growth of international society, the cultivation of global human resources now includes the cultivation of future human resources and the educations related with the career development program. However, the programs that colleges are operating for the cultivation of global human resources have been limited only to supporting the participation in international training program, operating camp and conferences, etc. On the contrary, to give many learners chances of experiencing courses for global empowerment and employment capability, We are operating the Internet of Everything online education program with Cisco Networking Academy Korea. Based on the management cases of Internet of Everything online education program, this thesis is suggesting a career program on global empowerment that many learners can experience, different from the limitation of the existing program.

정신장애인가족의 임파워먼트와 자기옹호 증진을 위한 프로그램의 효과 (The Effectiveness of Program to Promote Empowerment and Self-Advocacy of the Mentally Disabled Persons' Families)

  • Purpose: This study was to verify the effectiveness of group program for promoting empowerment and self-advocacy of the the mentally disabled persons' families. Methods: This program was set up for the mentally disabled persons' families to share their experiences, do consciousness raising, advocate themselves through group process. A pre-post control group design was used for this study. Results: The results of this study verified that group program was effective to promote empowerment and self advocacy of the mentally disabled persons' families. Also group program helped to express and ventilate family burden actively. Conclusion: This study suggests as follows. In the mental health social work practice we need to develop group programs for family to talk about themselves, to ventilate their emotions, to understand their circumstances and to initiative the change of mental health circumstances as well as education and coping skills about mental illness. For this, there is a need for mental health social worker to have a macroscopic viewpoint and work with family. Also there is a need for mental health social worker to promote family self-help groups and to support their construction and growth.

지역역량강화 프로그램의 효과성 평가 - 대관령면 지역을 중심으로 - (Effectiveness Evaluation of Community Empowerment Program - Focusing on Daegwallyeong-Meyeon -)

  • This study conducted monitoring and outcome evaluation of three newly-established programs in 'Community Empowerment program in 2019' in Daegwallyeong-myeon. The purpose of the study is to find out the organic relationship between the process and result of the program and its effect on participants by performing two evaluation methods in parallel on the target program. As a result of the research, first, it was found that there was a difference in the degree of acceptance of feedback depending on the instructor who is charging each program. Second, there were two categorized results such as the depth and direction which is changed by the number of monitoring, or similar content being repeated. Third, there was an organic relationship between monitoring evaluation and outcome evaluation. Therefore, it can be said that it is highly likely to lead to more systematic and meaningful results if the community empowerment program is monitored as a process evaluation and outcome evaluation.

임파워먼트와 사회적지지가 소방공무원의 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향 (How Empowerment and Social Support Affect Occupational Stress of Firefighters)

  • 본 연구는 소방공무원들의 임파워먼트 수준과 사회적지지 수준이 직무스트레스와 직무스트레스 하위요인들에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 대구 경북지역 소방공무원 230명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 전체 조사대상 소방공무원들의 사회적지지 수준이 높을수록, 임파워먼트 수준이 높을수록 직무스트레스는 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 직무스트레스 하위요인들 중 특히 직무자율성은 임파워먼트에 의해서만 영향을 받았고 보상부적절과 직장문화는 사회적지지의 영향을 가장 크게 받았다. 그 외 근무경력과 출동횟수가 직무스트레스와 직무스트레스 하위요인들에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변수로 나타났다. 직무특성에 따른 집단별 직무스트레스 수준에 대한 분석의 결과는 화재분야가 구급분야보다 유의하게 높은 직무스트레스를 보였으며 주당 4-7회 출동횟수가 주당 8회 이상 출동횟수보다 유의하게 높은 직무스트레스를 나타내었다. 연구결과에 따라 사회적지지와 임파워먼트 증대를 초점으로 하는 직무스트레스와 세부직무스트레스 관리 프로그램 개발을 제안하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the current performance of the public services for families in crisis by analyzing the family empowerment service in Healthy Families Support centers. We analyzed performance data of the family empowerment service provided by 25 Healthy Families Support Centers from 2011 to 2013. The results are as follows; First, the number of families in crisis which received public services from the family empowerment service by the Healthy Family Support Centers in 2013 were less than the number in 2011, but increased from 2012. Second, according to the types of crisis, school violence was the most service needed family crisis in 2011, and it was suicide in 2012 and 2013. Third, in the specific services in emergency support for families and family function recovery program, Psychological and emotional support services were the most offered services during 3 years. Accordingly, efficiency of the programs and services in terms of budget is higher than that of any other services. Fourth, analysing the evaluation results of amily empowerment services in 2014, we found that its network is still heavily weighted in certain side by the lack of the utilization and the foundation of the network.

결혼이주 베트남여성의 부부친밀감, 배우자지지, 성적자율성과 임파워먼트 관계 융합연구 (Convergence Study on Marital intimacy, spousal support, sexual autonomy and empowerment on married immigrant Vietnamese women in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 결혼이주 베트남여성을 대상으로 부부친밀감, 배우자지지, 성적자율성 및 임파워먼트를 측정하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료수집은 2018년 5월부터 9월까지 한국남성배우자와 살고 있는 베트남 여성 119명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 자료의 분석은 ANOVA와 Pearson's correlation coefficient로 분석하였다. 부부친밀감은 $3.17{\pm}0.69$, 배우자지지 $3.45{\pm}0.94$, 성적자율성 $3.70{\pm}0.83$, 임파워먼트는 $3.41{\pm}0.57$이었고, 부부친밀감, 배우자지지와 성적 자율성 간에는 높은 정의 상관을 보였고(p<.001), 임파워먼트는 배우자지지와 성적자율성 간에 정적 상관을 보였다(p<.005). 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 결혼이주 베트남여성들의 임파워먼트를 높이기 위한 방안 모색 및 중재 프로그램을 개발이 필요하다고 사료된다.

The Effect of an Empowerment Program on the Health-promoting Behaviors of Iranian Women Workers: A Randomized Controlled Trial

  • Objectives: The workplace is an ideal place for encouraging health-promoting behaviors. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to determine the effect of an empowerment program on the health-promoting behaviors of women workers. Methods: This randomized clinical trial was conducted with 80 women workers employed at a food packaging facility in 2020. The subjects were selected using convenience sampling and were classified into intervention and control groups using block randomization. An empowerment program for women workers was conducted across 6 sessions based on an empowerment model. Data collection tools included a demographic questionnaire and the Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile-II, which participants completed both before the program and 8 weeks after the last session. Data analysis was performed in SPSS version 16 using descriptive analysis and inferential statistics. Results: There were no significant differences between the 2 groups in various health-promoting behaviors before the program. However, the intervention group's scores for nutrition (34.92±1.09 vs. 27.87±4.23), physical activity (24.40±2.94 vs. 17.40±5.03), stress management (26.35±2.60 vs. 23.05±4.27), spiritual growth (34.02±3.00 vs. 30.22±5.40), interpersonal relationships (30.82±2.38 vs. 27.60±4.61), and health responsibility (31.60±2.71 vs. 28.22±4.59) were significantly higher than the control group's 8 weeks after the program had ended. Moreover, there was a significant difference in the total score of health-promoting behaviors for the intervention group compared to the control group (179.00±9.22 vs. 151.42±20.25, p=0.001). Conclusions: An empowerment program for women workers led to significant improvements in the health-promoting behaviors of the participants. Similar programs can ultimately improve women's health in the workplace.

요양병원 간호사의 임파워먼트, 감염관리 조직문화, 감염관리 인지도가 감염관리 수행도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Empowerment, Infection Control Organizational Culture and Infection Control Awareness on Performance among Nurses in Long-Term Care Hospitals)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of empowerment, infection control organizational culture, and infection control awareness on infection control performance among nurses in long-term care hospitals. Methods: A descriptive survey study was conducted with 125 nurses as subjects who had been working for at least six months in four long-term care hospitals located in Busan metropolitan city and Gyeongsangnam-do Province. Data were collected from September 30 to October 28, 2021 and analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 26.0. Results: The results showed that infection control performance had significant correlations with empowerment (r=.36, p<.001), infection control organizational culture (r=.51, p<.001), and infection control awareness (r=.75, p<.001). Multiple regression analysis for infection control performance revealed that the most powerful predictor was infection control awareness (β=.70, p<.001). Empowerment, infection control awareness and awareness of infection control guidelines explained approximately 60.0% of the variance in infection control performance. Conclusion: Findings indicated that various factors are related to the infection control performance among nurses in long-term care hospital. Based on the results of this study, further development and application of the programs to enhance empowerment and infection control awareness are needed in order to improve the infection control performance of nurses in long-term care hospitals.

종합병원 간호사의 임파워먼트와 직무소진이 감염관리 수행에 미치는 영향 (The effect of Empowerment and Job Burnout on Infection Control Performance in General Hospital Nurses)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 종합병원 간호사의 임파워먼트와 직무소진이 감염관리 수행에 미치는 영향요인을 확인하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 대상자는 D시에 소재한 종합병원에서 근무하고 있는 간호사 총 210명을 대상으로 2023년 9월 15일부터 10월 31일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 25.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Sheffe, Pearson's correlation, multiple regression을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 임파워먼트와 감염관리 수행은 양의 상관관계를 보였으며, 임파워먼트가 감염관리 수행에 가장 영향을 미치는 요인으로 분석되었으며, 14.8%의 설명력을 보였다. 따라서 간호사의 임파워먼트를 향상시킬 수 있는 효율적인 감염관리 수행을 위한 프로그램 및 정책반영이 필요하다.

엔카운터 집단상담에 참여한 장애인들의 임파워먼트 경험에 관한 연구 - 지체장애인과 뇌병변 장애인 중심 포커스 그룹 인터뷰 (A Study on the Empowerment Experiences of People with Disabilities Participating in Encounter Group Counseling Program - Using Focus Group Interview for People with Physical Disabilities and Brain Lesions)

  • 본 연구에서는 전체 장애인의 50%를 차지하고 있는 지체장애인, 뇌병변 장애인을 중심으로 장애인들이 엔카운터 집단상담 을 통해 임파워먼트 된 경험을 분석하여 향후 다수의 장애인들이 임파워 할 수 있는 실질적인 개입전략의 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 연구문제는 첫째, 장애인들은 엔카운터 집단 상담을 통해 임파워먼트 경험을 하였는가? 둘째, 장애인들은 엔카운터 집단상담을 통해 어떠한 임파워먼트를 경험하였는가? 이다. 또한 엔카운터 집단프로그램을 통한 장애인의 임파워먼트 경험을 질적으로 평가하고자 프로그램의 참가자들을 대상으로 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 연구대상은 서울에 위치하는 장애인 자립센터에서 2015년부터 2019년까지 엔카운터 집단상담을 받았던 지체장애와 뇌병변 장애를 가진 장애인들이었다. 자료분석 결과, 7개의 범주, 17개의 하위범주가 도출 되었으며 1) 자기와의 관계 회복 2) 타인과 새로운 관계 형성 3) 사화와의 연대감 실현의 세주제로 묶을 수 있었다. 이를 통해 엔카운터 집단상담 프로그램이 장애인의 개인적, 대인 관계적, 정치사회적 임파워먼트에 미치는 영향에 초점을 두어 연구결과를 논의 하였고 마지막으로 연구의 제한점 및 후속연구를 위한 제언점을 제시하였다.
