재난위기관리 단계에 따른 보안관리 정책의 효과성 - 호텔 종사자를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Factors that affect the Recognition of Policy Effectiveness in the Security Management : Focused on the Hotel Employee)

  • 이 연구는 한국에서 서비스업에 종사하는 이들의 차별화된 서비스 전략으로서 안전에 대한 인식을 살펴보고 국내외의 수요자들에게 서비스업 경쟁력 향상을 유도하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 서비스업의 대표적인 직종인 호텔 종사자들을 대상으로 재난위기관리 단계에 따른 보안관리 정책의 효과성 인식을 살펴보고자 한다. 구체적으로 연구대상은 서울, 부산, 경상남도, 경상북도에 위치하고 있는 주요 호텔에 종사하고 있는 직원들로 해당 호텔의 관리자와 사전 의견교환을 통해 연구의 취지를 설명하고 연구를 진행하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 재난위기관리 4가지 단계 중 완화, 준비단계와 대응단계를 제외한 복구단계에서만이 통계적 유의수준 하에서 보안관리 정책의 효과성 인식에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 호텔 종사자들이 인식하고 있는 보안관리 정책의 효과성은 가시적인 측면에 집중하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이는 실질적인 재난상황의 발생 유무와 상관없이 상시 진행하고 있는 사전적 예방활동 단계는 정책의 효과성 인식에 영향을 미치지 않았다는 의미로, 보안의 특성상 사후 대응적 활동보다는 사전 예방적 활동에 더욱 관심을 가져야된다는 함의를 도출할 수 있었다.

  • 급변하는 경영환경에 적응하기 위한 조직에서 변혁적 리더십과 창의적 분위기 개념이 중요함에도 실제로 조직구성원의 혁신성과와 관련된 실증적 연구가 부족하였다. 본 연구에서는 IT서비스 분야의 연구개발 조직을 대상으로 변혁적 리더십과 조직구성원의 혁신성과의 관계에 대해 검증하였다. 또한 그 관계에 있어 창의적 분위기의 매개효과와 조직구성원의 혁신성향으로 인한 조절효과에 대해서도 검증하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결론은 다음과 같다. 변혁적 리더십과 조직구성원의 혁신성과의 관계 및 창의적 분위기와 혁신성과의 관계도 유의미하게 나타났으며, 창의적 분위기는 변혁적 리더십과 혁신성과 관계에 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 혁신성향의 조절효과 역시 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 실증 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 조직의 혁신 성과에 있어서 리더십과 창의적 분위기 조성의 관련성을 증명하였다. 뿐만 아니라 조직구성원 개인 성향에 대한 이해를 기반으로 창의적 분위기 조성을 위한 리더의 역할이 중요함을 강조하였다. 이러한 시사점을 바탕으로 추후 연구를 위하여 선행 연구 모델의 개념을 확장한 '창의성 생성 모델' 개념을 제안하였다.

Strategic Bundling of HRM for Organizational Performance: an Empirical Study of Publicly Listed Companies

  • Strategic bundling of Human Resource Management (HRM) practices among themselves works together as an entire HRM system rather than individual HRM practices to achieve organizational objectives. The bundles of HR practices support the effectiveness of one another assuming the effectiveness of any practice depends on other practices in place. It is said that the greater the total degree of bundling among the various components of HRM policies and practices, the more will be the organizational outcomes. Realizing these facts, this study aimed to explore the level of strategic bundling and examined the impact of such bundling on organizational performance to the publicly listed companies of Nepal. This empirical study is based on description and exploratory design for which data collected through the questionnaire based on 5-point liker scale. Total population of the study at the time of data collection are 234 organizations publicly listed in Stock Exchange of Nepal. Questionnaire is distributed to all organizations listed, response received from 105 organizations, as a unit of analysis, which is fairly good response. The study of strategic bundling of HRM practices perhaps the first study in Nepal, found that only 32 percent organizations have followed high bundling HR practices and these high bundling organizations are significantly different with low bundling organizations. Business organizations are trying to practice being close association of HRM policies and practices within them except labor relation with employee participation and business strategies. Supporting to the international literature, strategic bundling of HRM practices among themselves shows statistically significant effects on quality of product or services, labor productivity, financial performance, employee satisfaction, rate of innovation, employee commitment and market share.

ESG 활동이 조직공정성을 통하여 종업원의 조직신뢰와 조직동일시에 미치는 영향 (The effect of ESG activities on organizational trust, and organizational identity through employees' organizational justice)

  • 본 연구는 한국 사회와 기업 경영의 주요 이슈가 되고 있는 ESG 경영 활동과 조직공정성에 대한 영향 관계와 조직공정성이 조직신뢰, 조직동일시에 미치는 영향 관계를 검증하였다. 또한, ESG 활동 인식과 조직신뢰 및 조직동일시 간의 관계에서 조직공정성의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 기업체 종사 종업원의 재직회사의 ESG 활동에 대한 인식은 조직공정성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것이 확인되었다. 둘째, 종업원의 조직공정성 인식은 종업원의 조직신뢰와 조직동일시에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것이 확인되었다. 셋째, 종업원의 ESG 활동 인식과 조직신뢰와 조직동일시 간의 영향 관계에서 조직공정성의 매개효과를 확인하였다. 이에 따라, ESG 활동 강화와 회사의 제도적 관행 개선을 통한 조직공정성을 높여서, 조직의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 종업원의 긍정적 태도와 행동을 이끌어 내어야 할 것이다.

S-헬스케어산업의 경제적 파급효과 분석 (Economic Effects of South Korea's Smart Healthcare Industry)

  • Objectives : Recently, concerns about the smart healthcare industry has increased worldwide. This study estimates the economic effects of the smart healthcare industry by employing input-output analysis. Methods : In this study, $29{\times}29$ sector statistics were also used as the major research method for the industry. The main analysis tools of this study, thus, included a comparison of backward and forward-linkage effects and the inducement effects of the own-industry and other industries, as well as inducement coefficients, including production, value-added, employee's pay, operating surplus, production tax, and employment. Results : The results of the analysis show that the industry has an immense economic impact, affecting major macroeconomic factors including value-added and forward - linkage effects. Additionally, the inducement effects of the smart healthcare industry are significant compared to other industries in terms of production, employee's pay, operating surplus, production tax, and employment. Conclusions : The smart healthcare industry is a growth engines for national development, because it is the industry of high value-added services. This paper offers alternatives for efficient industrial policies.

미용서비스의 과정적, 결과적 품질과 소비자 만족에 관한 연구 (Service Quality and Consumer Satisfaction in Beauty Service ; Relating to the Outcome Quality and the Process Quality)

  • The purposes of this study were 1) to examine the conceptual structure of outcome quality and process quality of beauty service, 2) to investigate the relationships among beauty service quality, consumer satisfaction, word-of-mouth reputation and perceived risk, and 3) to find out the effects of related variables on consumer satisfaction. The questionnaire was developed based on pretest and previous studies, and completed by 435 female consumers that experienced beauty service during about one month in Busan. First, factor analysis showed that the process quality of beauty services consisted of four factors, such as Employee Service, Physical Service, Time-saving Service, and Economic Service. And the outcome service quality consisted of two factors, such as Socio-psychological service, Functional service. Second, the higher word-of-mouth reputation and the lower perceived risk were the higher perceived beauty service quality and the more satisfied with service. Third, the process quality of beauty service, word-of-mouth reputation, socio-psychological service quality effected on consumer satisfaction. Especially, the employee service was very important on consumer satisfaction.

레스토랑 고객의 선택 속성에 관한 실증적 연구 (A Study on the Choice Properties of Restaurant Customer's Characteristics)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the properties of restaurant customer's choice and to present the desirable service of restaurants. The experimental data were collected from the questionnaire answered by 182 restaurant customers in Seoul. One-way ANOVA and $x^2$(Chi-square) verification analysis were performed with the SPSS WINDOW 10.0 program to investigate statistical significance of the data. As the results, it was revealed that the food factor was most important when the customers choose a restaurant. And then, the importance of the choice properties was in the following order, that is, the food factor, the hygiene and cleanness factor, the employee's service factor, the visiting convenience factor, the indoor mood factor, the menu factor, the amenity factor for children. In addition, it was confirmed that some choice properties of the customers are dependent on the general characteristics such as sex, age, occupation, income etc. Therefore, it is essential that restaurants should provide various services related with the choice properties by understanding the choice properties according to the customer's characteristics.

  • 스마트폰 확산에 따라 스마트 사회가 진행되면서 개인의 일상생활 방식이 변하고 있으며, 업무수행 방식도 스마트 워크화 되어감에 따라 업무 담당자는 시간과 장소의 제약 없이 원격지에서도 업무처리가 가능해지고 있다. 이러한 사회전반에 걸친 스마트화에 따라, 업무관련 구성원과 시스템은 상호 연결되어 개인화된 서비스를 받을 수 있는 환경으로 바뀌면서 유연한 근무가 가능해졌다. 본 논문에서는 중소기업 근로자의 업무인지와 업무수행간 스마트워크 환경의 조절효과를 탐색하고자 한다. 탐색연구 결과 업무가 복잡할 때 스마트워크 환경 수용은 협업 업무수행을 증가시키는 조절효과가 있다는 것을 알 수가 있었다.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide academic and practical implications based on the analysis results of similarities and differentiation of Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA) in healthcare institutes from 2007 to 2016. Methods: This study examined the characteristics and similarities, the changes made for the most importantly considered, a degree of improvement of patient satisfaction, and employee retention rate of the MBNQA awarded 8 healthcare institutes announced by NIST during the period of 2007-2016. Results: First, the MBNQA awarded 8 healthcare institutes that maintained and implemented effective plans for a long period of time to improve the quality of care services. Second, these organizations were selected among the top 10% of the institutional evaluations in the medical field in the United States. Third, they have tried to continuously improve patient and potential customer and employee satisfaction. Fourth, it is shown that the quality improvement efforts have made long-term and continuous improvement efforts on average 4-5 years. Lastly, the increased number of patients and the improved organizational performance are twice higher than those of other healthcare institutions. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that common and differentiation strategies of healthcare institutions should be a good benchmarking model for other competitive healthcare institutions.

The Relationship Between Human Resource Management Practices, Work Engagement and Employee Behavior: A Case Study in Vietnam

  • This study aims to identify the relationship between human resource management practices, work engagement, and proactive behavior of health workers in Gia Lai Province in Vietnam. Based on theoretical frameworks of human resource management, work engagement, and proactive behavior, this study developed a research model and tested its relationship between human resource management practices, work engagement, and the proactive behavior of healthcare workers in Gia Lai Province. This research has used a mixed research method with qualitative and quantitative research. The quantitative research was conducted by survey with 232 health workers. The hypotheses were tested by using structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings showed that human resource management practices have a positive and significant influence on proactive behavior, which directly influences healthcare workers' work engagement. Besides, work engagement plays a role in mediating the influence of human resource management practices on proactive behavior. This research implies that health care organizations should pay more attention to human resource management practices to improve work engagement that assists in increasing employee proactive behavior. Efficient human resource management practices help boost work engagement and, initiality, improve the quality of health care services and minimize errors in treatments.
