The purpose of this study is to analyze research trends in international development and cooperation on education and to suggest directions for the Korean teachers and teacher education to achieve 'Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).' The examination of 8 databases resulted in the identification of 2,945 studies, and 6 of these references met the inclusion criteria for systemic review. Major findings revealed that pre- and in-service teachers recognized the necessity of international development education but had a low degree of teacher efficacy. The teachers who participated in ODA education programs have experienced difficulties due to insufficient understanding of local sites and role performance. Then, a couple of studies of mathematics and early childhood education compared the Korean national curriculum and education system with developing countries'. Lastly, it is important to have a sustainable system which promotes all teachers, including retired ones, in global development and cooperation on education. For the successful achievement of SDGs, Korean teachers should develop their expertise, a deep understanding of partner countries, and stable quality education for the underprivileged.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect on child care teachers' self-efficacy in teaching science. Subjects were 297 childhood teachers who were working at a day care center. The data were collected by using three questionnaires(Science Teaching Efficacy Belief Instruments, Inventory of Science Attitude, and Attitude Test for Child Care Teachers). The data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation and step-wise Regression. The results of this study are as follows; First, there were positive correlations between aptitude for child care teacher and self-efficacy in teaching science. Second, there were positive correlations between science attitude and self-efficacy in teaching science of child care teachers. Third, the significant predictors of self-efficacy in teaching science were interest in science, social value of science, interpersonal relationship management abilities, and positive emotions. The results of this study can be used to develop effective teacher training programs for early childhood science education.

This study was conducted for the purpose of developing an education program using smart apps that supports free play of children based on STEAM education and verifying its effectiveness. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, contents for using smart apps based on STEAM education for children's free play were derived through literature and data collection and field surveys in related fields, and a program was developed based on this. This program is a teaching strategy in which teachers and children interact at the start, middle, and end of free play using the 'Free Play' app installed on a smartphone. An experimental study was conducted to verify the effectiveness of the program using smart apps that support children's free play. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that the application of this program improves the self-regulation of children. This study is a teaching strategy to support both teachers and children during free play time, the core of early childhood education, and developed and applied the program with the idea of convergence of engineering and education, and hopes that it will be a starting point for revitalizing education using smart apps in the future education field.

This study reviewed elementary school teachers' opinions on the integrated curriculum in terms of the 2007 curriculum draft revision, as well as surveying their requests in regards to the 2009 curriculum draft revision. This study was conducted by means of questionnaires with 183 elementary school teachers. Most agreed that a theme-based-integrated curriculum was better than studying separate subjects, but most also argued that it takes considerable time reorganize and implement the integrated curriculum. Successful implementation also requires further teachers' training and their cooperation. The theme-based texts have already been in use from 2009 for first and second grades. Teachers prefer training courses which focus on the integration of the subjects, understanding the nature of each subject and sharing ideas and tips. Such training can assist in identifying the gaps between the curriculum plans and real classroom applications. Furthermore it can present clear guidelines to help ensure that the curriculum is organized effectively and well managed. Networks of specialized personnel or programs were also found to be very good resources both in and out of school.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to understand the formation of organizational relationship necessary to the correct operation of daycare centers through the relations between mulitpliership of daycare directors, and teachers cooperation and colleague support of childcare teachers. Methods: The subjects in this study were 234 childcare center teachers in Seoul and Gyoungi Province in South Korea. Two different inventories were utilized. Multipliership scale, teacher cooperation scale and colleague support scale were used. As for data analysis, the frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis were conducted through SPSS 20.0 program. Results: First, the sub-factors of multipliership of daycare center directors such as working joyfully, settling productive discussion, increasing unity of members, and establishing personal value culture in order were the preceding factors having positive effects on the teachers cooperation of childcare teachers. Second, the sub-factors of multipliership of daycare center directors such as settling productive discussion, establishing personal value culture, working joyfully, and increasing unity of members in order were the preceding factors having positive effects on the colleague support of childcare teachers. Conclusion/Implications: This study suggests researches improve the quality of childcare, and also researches on the development of programs enhancing multipliership.

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of community child center service experience on the relationship between peer attachment and school adjustment. For the analysis, data from the 2nd Panel of Community Child Center(2017) were used. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics 20 program. As a result, peer attachment(peer trust) has a positive effect on their center experience and school adjustment, and the center experience has a partial mediating effect on the relationship between peer attachment and school adjustment. The relationship with a center teacher and the center service evaluation of the children who use community child center are important factors that affect their school adjustment. Therefore measures should be taken to improve the quality of the community child center programs and its teachers.

This study aims to planned Elementary Multicultural Education Program for Promoting Self Esteem. To this end, consider the application force of education and teaching system designed to reorganize the ADDIE Model study was carried out in accordance with the analysis, design, development, process evaluation. To this end, analyzing the between self-esteem and group theory related to them and the social identity theory and key concepts to consider in the context of multicultural education programs for elementary self-esteem enhancement identity, prejudice, cooperation and was composed of equality. Four key concepts are sub-elements of self-esteem individuals, homes, schools, set up a detailed learning objectives in accordance with the social and selecting the learning content and organization, which was composed of a total of 16 class periods. Considering the characteristics and interests of the target students, the teaching-learning method was designed to utilize various methods, including games, quizzes, and discussions, and each class was designed to be developed by organizing them into subjects-learning goals-activities(recognition-exploration-clearing). Since in the three-member expert review, modify the content on the basis of opinions and presented the final program. The program planned by this study, further research is required to verify the effectiveness and utilization in the educational field and expects effective multicultural education.

The purpose of this study is to identify the social perception characteristics of young children with disabilities over the past decade. For this purpose, Textom, an Internet-based big data analysis system was used to collect data related to young children with disabilities posted on social media. 50 keywords were selected in the order of high frequency through the data cleaning process. For semantic network analysis, centrality analysis and CONCOR analysis were performed with UCINET6, and the analyzed data were visualized using NetDraw. As a result, the keywords such as 'education, needs, parents, and inclusion' ranked high in frequency, degree, and eigenvector centrality. In addition, the keywords of 'parent, teacher, problem, program, and counseling' ranked high in betweenness centrality. In CONCOR analysis, four clusters were formed centered on the keywords of 'disabilities, young child, diagnosis, and programs'. Based on these research results, the topics on social perception of young children with disabilities were investigated, and implications for each topic were discussed.

This study is intended to look into parents' satisfaction of contracting-out system in employer-supported childcare centers. To achieve this, a survey was carried out to 400 parents who use national, public and private employer-supported childcare centers. The results were as follows. First, employer-supported childcare factors were the qualities of childcare environment, childcare program and early childhood teacher in both contracted-out and in-house services. The satisfaction with facility, program, operation and childcare training was improved in good employer-supported childcare factors And the satisfaction with the relationship between these factors could improve the expectation for the use of employer-supported childcare centers. Second, the difference in the operation of employer-supported childcare centers showed that the most preferred size was 50 to 74 children. The contracted-out services was more preferred than in-house services. And the location of on-the-job facility was more preferred than off-the-job facility. As stated above, the preference of employer-supported childcare centers was more raised than that of general kindergartens or childcare centers by an increase in the trend of working child parents' dual income. In other words, small and medium sized childcare centers of some 50 children were more preferred than large scaled childcare centers. Consequently, the retainment of childcare programs, facilities and quality teachers contracted out to professional childcare centers can improve the satisfaction with them.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between psychological well-being and resilience in child-care teachers. The subjects were 264 teachers working in child-care center. The method of this study were the questionnaires. Collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient using the computer program SPSS/PC 21.0. The study results were as follows. First, teacher's psychological well-being and resilience showed higher than average degrees. Second, there were significant positive relationship between psychological well-being and resilience in child-care teachers. and were significant correlation between all sub-domains. In order to improve the resilience of child-care teachers, psychological well-being is important, and it is necessary to develop and distribute various programs.
