Purpose - The current distribution enterprises have realized the necessity for integrated and specialized images in their stores. From those reasons, visual merchandising has been considered as a powerful means towards brand value judgement as well as maximizing both brand and corporate identity. This research intends to study and discuss the current situations in Korean visual merchandising and its future concept setting. Based on the research findings, this paper tries to propose the basic concept for development strategies of visual merchandising in Korean distribution market. Although the studies on visual merchandising in Korean traditional markets have been continued, visual merchandisers have been distorted by display control centers in real situations. Therefore, this study tries to set both current and future concepts in visual merchandising for further discussions and a new complement formulation. Research design, data, and methodology - This study has investigated previous studies with the way of normative study by comparing, organizing concepts and relating terms on visual merchandising. In order to be an exact research, it seems to be more appropriate to analyze this study with a deductive analysis way rather than inductive as for getting the core of visual merchandising. Besides, this study changed the term 'visual merchandising' into 'VMD', and used it as an unified one. Results - Visual merchandising has an important key in retail planning. With focusing on organizing visual merchandising concepts, it should be adequate for domestic circumstances because there are various visual merchandising concepts with different perspectives. Thus, it is necessary to establish a concept including modern and Korean features through previous studies and data. Visual merchandising can be defined as followings. It enhances the value of shop images from visual aspects and conveys brand concepts effectively. Its task is to plan and manage products sales by combining three merchandising domains such as interior, display, and merchandising. Conclusions - There are some limitations on setting academic concepts in visual merchandising due to its features as to be taken in the field focused studies. More meaningful case studies should be performed as an area of future studies. Therefore, it is necessary to perform an effectiveness analysis on empirical visual merchandising state and present the course of development.

학교수학에서 정적분과 치환적분법의 개념은 확률밀도함수의 도입, 연속확률변수의 기댓값, 정규분포의 표준화와 관련하여 수학적 연결성을 가진다. 그러나 개정교육과정의 '미적분과 통계 기본', '적분과 통계' 과목의 교육과정해설서와 검인정 교과서 및 익힘책에서 적분단원과 통계단원 사이의 수학적 연결성 고려가 어려움을 발견하였다. 본 연구는 학교수학에서 확률밀도함수의 도입, 연속확률변수의 기댓값, 정규분포의 표준화에 대하여 적분단원과의 수학적 연결성을 고려한 지도방안 마련을 목적으로 한다. 세개념에 대한 학생대상 실태조사와 개정교육과정의 교육과정해설서, 교과서, 익힘책, 그리고 국내 외 통계학(확률론) 도서(국내 13종, 국외 22종)의 내용을 비교하였다. 이를 바탕으로 세 개념에 대한 지도내용을 개발하여 실제 수업에 적용해보았고, 교육과정개정이나 교과서의 내용구성 변화에 대한 시사점을 발견하여 그 결과를 제언하였다.

Power automation system to operate power distribution systems can be distinguished by distribution SCADA with remote monitoring and control; and distribution automation system with basic functions such as service restoration to the distribution SCADA; and distribution management system which is operated by various applications in order to enhance distribution system operation performance based on the distribution automation system. In the technological change, a technical boundary of information technology (IT) and operation technology (OT) is being blurred by that new concepts such as interoperability. In addtion, IT/OT convergence has been proposed by the improvement of ICT and power system technology. At the viewpoint, advanced distribution management system (ADMS) to have the new concepts and to increase distribution system operation efficiency through global information and functions from the other systems has been proposed. In order to implement the ADMS, IT and OT have to be employed together on the ADMS; and the concept-based IT/OT convergence concept has been presented. Therefore, this paper introduces ADMS and IT/OT convergence and proposes a design of IT/OT convergence based ADMS system design with configurations and functions.

Statistical concepts and methods are routinely utilized in a number of design and management problems in engineering hydrology. This is because most of hydrological processes have some degree of randomness and uncertainty. Thus, the concepts of risk and uncertainty are commonly utilized for designing and evaluating hydraulic structures such as spillways and dikes. Therefore, in this study, uncertainty analysis considering the variance of design floods is performed to evaluate the uncertainty of the hydrologic risk of flood related hydraulic structures using frequency analysis.

Lehmann [13] introduced the concept of positive(negative) dependence together with some other dependence concepts. Since then, a great numerous multivariate inequalities have been obtained. For a references of available results, see Karlin and Rinott [12], Ebrahimi and Ghosh [8] and Sampson [14]. Whereas a number of dependence notions exist for multivariate processes (see Friday [10]), recently, Ebrahimi [7] introduced some new dependence concepts of the hitting times of stochastic processes.

The purpose of the study was to examine early childhood teachers' content knowledge of economic education. The subjects, 60 early childhood teachers, were asked to draw concept maps about early childhood economic education. Their concept maps were analyzed in terms of superordinate and subordinate concepts by contents and frequencies. The results were as follows. First, 248 superordinate concepts were shown, and they were categorized into nine representative terms: 'Scarcity and Choice,' 'Decision Making,' 'Monetary Value,' 'Production,' 'Consumption,' 'Distribution,' 'Restrain,' 'Reuse,' and 'Economic Education Activity.' Second, 1,440 subordinate concepts were shown, and 'coin,' 'bill,' 'saving,' 'bank,' and 'money' were frequently shown. Third, the mean numbers of subordinate concepts per superordinate concepts showed that early childhood teachers had more knowledge about 'Consumption,' 'Monetary Value,' and 'Economic Education Activity' than other superordinate concepts. The results showed the need for early childhood teachers to have more systematic and hierarchical pedagogical content knowledge on economic education.

본 연구의 목적은 초등 예비교사가 가지고 있는 천문 관련 개념을 조사하여 오개념의 분포를 분석하는 것이었다. 연구는 우리나라 중부지방에 위치한 초등교사 양성 대학 2학년에 재학 중인 예비교사 43명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 천문 개념에 대해 초등 예비교사들의 오개념은 다양한 분포를 나타냈다. 특히 많은 선행 연구에서 지적되었던 계절의 변화와 관련하여 초등 예비교사들은 여전히 오개념을 가지고 있었다. 둘째, 초등 예비교사들은 천문 개념에 대해 단순 암기 수준의 개념을 형성하고 있었으며, 다양한 사례에 알고 있는 개념을 적용하는 데에는 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 앞으로의 천문 관련 교육이 단순 암기가 아닌 다양한 사례의 적용과 응용을 통해 천문 현상을 이해하는 방향으로 이루어져야 하며, 교사 양성 과정이나 교사 연수에서도 이를 반영하여 천문 교육이 실시되어야 할 것으로 생각한다.

본 논문에서는 지금까지의 양자 키 분배 기술에 대한 기본적인 개념과 기술적으로 발전해야 할 문제들을 소개하려 한다. 양자 키 분배 기술은 더이상 쪼갤 수 없는 물리량의 최소 단위인 양자(Quantum)의 특성을 이용해 도청 불가능한 암호키를 생성, 송신자와 수신자 양쪽에 나눠주는 기술이다. 이 기술의 대표적인 프로토콜인 BB84 프로토콜을 소개하고 현실적인 어려움과 앞으로의 과제를 살펴보고자 한다.

Architectural design of general hospitals is progressing in the aspects of themes and concepts of design. This study aims to develope an overview of communal space design in general hospitals by analysing design compositions and themes and concepts involved in them. Organizational prototypes for communal space networks in existing hospitals are summariged for the result of this analysis, and concentration/distribution of communal spaces and hospital communications within communal spaces are included in the analysis.

A new protection coordination algorithm in Multi-Agent based distribution automation system is proposed in this paper. Distribution network protection coordination is acted by normal state distribution operation. But, in more and more complex distribution network structure, it has a big problem that central server processed all measurement data, coordination setting and controls for operation. So, a algorithm to change coordination setting is proposed automatically in terminal devices which Recloser and OCR to include Multi-Agent concepts in distribution network.
