In this paper, gait generation algorithm based on Linear Inverted Pendulum Mode is extended considering that the terrain is uncertain and flexible. Deformation of the soft terrain by the weight of the biped robot is taken into account to design the desired motion of the swing leg. Landing time disagreement caused by dynamics of the robot is also considered and a method to adjust gait is proposed. Results of numerical simulation show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Purpose: This critical ethnography was performed to explore the experiences of nurses who are working with patients in an industrial disaster hospital. During the research process, I focused on the experiences of conflict in caring patients. Methods: Data for the study came from 13 informants with their corresponding patients through interview and observation from March 2002 to February 2004. The data was examined line by line; then compared and contrasted based on a critical discourse analysis. Results: Nurses' conflicts came from discrepancies of the world views from that of the patients. Such conflicts arose because of various issues as follows: Worker as an individual vs patients, nurse as young women vs the medical profession, hospital as an extended home vs health care setting, and hospitalization as a means to enhance work capacity vs a means of treatment. Conclusion: We need more study on the development of adaptive strategy for the nurses to overcome conflicts during their nursing career. Developing a nurses' and patient role intervention program is needed.

In this study, we estimated the topside scale height of plasma density (Hm) using the Swarm constellation and ionosondes in Korea. The Hm above Korean Peninsula is generally around 50 km. Statistical distributions of the topside scale height exhibited a complex dependence upon local time and season. The results were in general agreement with those of Tulasi Ram et al. (2009), who used the same method to calculate the topside scale height in a mid-latitude region. On the contrary, our results did not fully coincide with those obtained by Liu et al. (2007), who used electron density profiles from Arecibo Incoherent Scatter Radar (ISR) between 1966 and 2002. The disagreement may result from the limitations in our approximation method and data coverage used for estimations, as well as the inherent dependence of Hm on Geographic LONgitude (GLON).

An automation of standardized rebar shop drawing is necessary for easy application by improving workability, prompt preparation to field change request and easy revisions of shop drawing. Through investigating problem of current rebar shop drawing, we found that standardization of reinforcing detail, standardization of rebar expression and automation of rebar shop drawing program for the sake of designer is needed. We will investigate disagreement of reinforcing detail between building code and how worker build structure for standardization of reinforcing detail, demands of companies participated in rebar process for standardization of rebar expression and proper algorithm with selectable level of inputting data for automation of rebar shop drawing program for the sake of designer.

In this paper, noise and vibration reduction of double-resiliently mounted pump-like machinery is studied. SBN(Structure-borne noise) reduction through upper and lower mount is analyzed by assuming that the system is modeled as a mass-spring system. In addition, the impedance of the floor is included in the prediction. The comparison of the SBN difference through upper mount show that the effect of impedance is negligible, while the measurement differs significantly from the prediction for high frequency range. It is found that the assumption of point mass-spring system leads to the disagreement between prediction and measurements.

본 논문은 수리철학의 발전과정에 관한 발자취를 조사한다. 자연적으로 암시하는 주된 의문들 중에서 그것들은 수리철학의 변천과정에 의해서 생각되어질 것이다. 수리철학의 역사를 위한, 혹은 더 특별하게 말하자면 철학에 대한 수학의 관계를 위한 명백한 자료는 현재까지 그 수가 많지 않은 편이다. 더욱이 각각의 사색가들에 따른 철학에 대한 수학의 범위, 영향, 관계에 대한 의견차이와 논쟁이 분분하다. 수학과 철학의 발전 과정에서 서로에게 미치는 영향력에 대해서도 강조할 필요가 있다.

펄스형 방전플라스마장치에서 축방향 플라스마 curren sheath의 속력을 측정하였고, snowplow 모델과 비교하였다. Current sheath의 속력은 $10^6cm/s$로 측정되었다. 측정된 속력 중에서 가벼운 기체인 수소와 헬륨은 모델의 이론과 비슷한 결과가 나왔으나 무거운 기체인 아르곤은 이론과 조금 벗어났다. 그 이유는 current sheath의 불안정성 때문으로 추정된다.

We applied PIV method to obtain instantaneous and ensemble averaged velocity fields from the first row to the fifth row of a staggered tube bundle. The Reynolds number based on the tube diameter and the maximum velocity was set to be 4,000. Remarkably different natures are observed in the developing bundle flow. Such differences are depicted in the mean recirculating bubble length and the vorticity distributions. The jet-like flow seems to be a dominant feature after the second row and usually skew. However, the ensemble averaged fields show symmetric profiles and the flow characteristics between the third and fourth measuring planes are not so different. comparison between the PIV data and the RANS simulation yields severe disagreement in spite of the same Reynolds number. It can be explained that the distinct jet-like unsteady motions are not to be accounted in th steady numerical analysis.

The Korean version of the therapeutic relationship scaled for parents was administered to 156 Korean parents and 51 therapists. Statistical analysis of the data showed that highly educated parents who graduated from university had the most negative emotional perceptions against therapists. Working class parents made more positive therapeutic helping relationships as assistants though they also had negative emotional relationships. Differences in perception of emotional relationships between parents and therapists were found even when there were no differences in the therapeutic helpfulness of the relationship. That is, when effectiveness of the therapeutic relationship was held constant, perceptual disagreement about the emotional relationship between parents and therapists was more prevalent than agreement about the emotional relationship.

Forest managers are increasingly being challenged to produce goods and services to society while managing for ecosystem sustainability. Forest ecosystem management is an emerging philosophy to achieve these objectives. We synthesized some basic concepts of forest ecosystem, sustainability in forests and forest ecosystem management, and described the importances of long-term ecological studies. Also we presented few relatively simple principles of forest ecosystem management, strategies, and case studies for integrating forest ecosystem management principles into the forest management planning process. It was emphasizd that in forest ecosystem management process, society, land managers, forest managers, and scientists be entered into a partnership to reshape management goals, redefine objectives, and redirect management actions in response to changing socioeconomic information and evolving bioogical, physical, chemical, and environmental conditions. Agreement or disagreement with our synthesis and opinions on forest ecosystem management is out of the primary objective of this paper, which is to stimulate new and creative approaches to forest ecosystem management as an emerging issue in forestry.
