This study aims to analyze exercise cases and issues using smart devices and technologies, and to present the development direction of a smart exercise environment suitable for the wellness life of active seniors with high activity and economic power unlike the existing silver generation. In the fitness industry, the subscription economy that regularly receives or uses necessary exercise tools, services, and digital content is expanding, and business models based on hardware sales and content subscription continue to emerge. In order to have value competitiveness as a platform that provides active seniors with integrated exercise services for health care, not only fitness centers, but also home training exercise equipment, fitness-related applications, and smart wearable device markets should be organically connected to form an expanded total platform. In order to have value competitiveness as a platform that provides active seniors with integrated exercise services for health care, not only fitness centers, but also home training exercise equipment, fitness-related applications, and smart wearable device markets should be organically connected to form an expanded total platform. The linkage of the digital healthcare function, which provides real-time changes to exercise programs based on continuous monitoring and feed back through wearable devices before, after, and during exercise by receiving and selecting exercise programs suitable for individual health status, is the differentiating factor in the smart fitness model.
The purpose of the study was to determine the general characteristics that affect strokes caused by smoking, to provide basic data and political grounds for preventing strokes. Data were used from the 6th (2015) of the National Health and Nutrition Survey. Among the study participants were 2,146 smokers and 132 strokers. Data were analyzed using SPSS ver. 21.0. The findings of the study were as follows: strokes increased the odds ratio 1.7 times(p<0.001) when smoking was performed, and the risk factors for strokes caused by smoking were statistically significant in age(p=0.008, p=0.10), education level(p=0.003, p=0.008), hypertension(p<0.001), and subjective health conditions(p=0.008). Therefore, it is necessary to develop health education contents using smart devices and a consistent national health policy to reduce the occurrence and risk of stroke.
With the emergence of smart media and devices which are able to continuous data monitor, the usage patterns of access and acquire health information are changed. Health contents should be provided to promote intrinsic motivation considering the way of cognizing and processing data in human information interaction. For this, planning for prevention centered health contents is required to utilize personal information and medical big data for engagement with the contents. Therefore, this paper reviews previous studies of health communication dealing with users' information literacy like e-health literacy. In addition, the paper classifies ways of communication when mediate IT as immediacy, interaction and data capturing. In conclusion, strategies of health contents for promoting users' intrinsic motivation are explored and its implications are discussed.

This study attempted to uncover the characteristics of health information non-seekers among the United States foreign-born population and identify potential predictors of their non-seeking behavior. The trends of foreign-born health information nonseekers over the past twelve years were also examined. Statistical analysis was conducted with two sets of Health Information National Trends Survey (HINTS) data: HINTS 2 (2005) and HINTS 5 Cycle 1 (2017) datasets. It was found that foreign-born nonseekers differ from foreign-born seekers in terms of a variety of variables including education, income, English proficiency, the uses of Internet and social media, ownership of digital devices, ownership of health insurance, perceived health status, and level of trust in health information sources. Among them, education, Internet use, and trust in online health information were identified as predictors of the foreign-born population's non-seeking of health information. In addition, three variables - race/ethnicity, age, and place of accessing the Internet - which were significant factors in the 2005 dataset, were no longer significant in the 2017 dataset, implying the possible influence of smartphones that reduces Internet accessibility gaps among different racial/ethnic and age groups.

Before entering 21st Century, modern medical science is requiring more precise display which is highly estimated in diagnostic value as radial science technology is achieving sharp development. And it is also trying to contribute to improve national health and to offer better service by reducing radial exposure. General projection and Fluoroscopy which are most difficult to be displayed in digital tend to change their way ; from analog to digital with development of Electronic Engineering and Computer Technology, Introducing to CR system in 1994, SMC have displayed General projection and Fluoroscopy 100% in digital using CR system. This study searched differences between repeat rate, repeat type in the exam using Film/Screen and those in the exam using CR system. According to the analysis of repeat types and repeat rate of Film which was reused by using CR system in general projection room and Fluoroscopy room of SMC, we found that total 192,813 films were used and 2,097 films, 1.09% of total were reused. However, actual repeat covers 0.76% to 1,461 sheets with the exception of 636sheets. As above, display process using CR system is 0.76% much lower than general repeat rate 2$\sim$4% of Film/Screen exam. Besides decreased under/over exposure, it is appeared that position failure rate in repeat rate 0.76% covers relatively high 31%. Noticing that repeat caused unskilled devices handing was found many times, sufficient understanding seems to be required to reduce repeat.
By classifying temporary denture production for surgical guides, digital guide-based surgery, and final prosthesis production, the problems of each process were assessed in advance and the factors that could be improved were confirmed in this study. The manufacturing process of fusion dental prosthesis uses virtual programs and computed tomography images to manufacture devices using the latest technologies of computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing and three-dimensional printing, which enables implants to be placed in the desired location in advance. Moreover, implant placement is not dependent on the skill and condition of the dentist, and because it uses a computer system, it can always be performed at a constant and optimal position. This can reduce the remanufacturing rate compared with the general method, shorten the treatment period, and eliminate patient discomfort. Unlike the traditional method of using impression materials and plaster models, digital fusion dental prostheses would be evaluated as a technology for producing prosthesis through professional design technology and communication.
We conducted the analysis using the data of the '2019 Korean Middle and Elderly Technology Acceptance Survey' to verify the comprehensive senior technology acceptance model. In this study, we examined the significant effect the relationship between behavioral intention to use the diital health devices and perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, gerontechnology self-efficacy, gerontechnology anxiety, facilitating conditions, attitude to life and satisfaction through the structural equation. The results of the research model are as follows. First, the usefulness and ease of use had significant effects on intention to use. Second, the self-efficacy had significant effects on the intention to use. But they had negative effect. Third, perceived usefulness, self-efficacy and anxiety had significant effects on ease of use. Lastly, self-efficacy, facilitating conditions, attitude to life and satisfaction had significant effects on perceived usefulness. These findings highlight that verified the comprehensive senior technology acceptance model in Korea.
Background: Digital therapeutics are software medical devices that provide evidence-based treatments to prevent, manage, and treat disease. Digital therapies have recently been shown to be effective in motivating children with cerebral palsy as a tool in neuropsychological therapy. Digital therapies improve postural control, balance and gait in children with cerebral palsy. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the effects of digital therapies on balance and gait in children with cerebral palsy and to provide guidelines for prescribing digital therapies for children with cerebral palsy. Design: A Systematic Review Methods: This study searched for English-language articles published in medical journals from January 2000 to July 2023 using PubMed and MEDLINE based on the year of initiation of the digital therapy. The search terms used in the study were 'digital technology' OR 'digital therapeutic' OR 'mobile application' OR 'mobile health' OR 'virtual reality' OR 'game' AND 'cerebral palsy', 'balance' 'gait' as the main keywords. The final article was assigned an evidence level and a Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro) score to assess the quality of clinical trials studies. Results: The digital therapies applied to improve balance and gait in children with cerebral palsy are game-based virtual reality training and the Nintendo Wii Fit program. Both digital therapy interventions had a significant effect on improving balance in children with cerebral palsy, and virtual reality training significantly improved balance and gait. However, there were no significant improvements in balance and gait within two weeks of treatment, regardless of the type of digital intervention. Conclusion: The study suggests that this data will be important in building the evidence base for the effectiveness of digital therapies on balance and gait in children with cerebral palsy and in advancing clinical protocols.
It is predicted the mass retirement of the post-war generation and the lack of young people according to reduces the recruitment. Therefore, industry fields are concerned by the low level of occupational safety and health from issued problem in a variety of industries; the charge of expanding business range/multi-functional, black box of technology, difficulty of systematic training, relative decrease in the skill of workers, loss of know-how in the field of information followed restricted site information. In response to these problems, it is necessary to establish the long-termly and actively based on for the adoption of a safety and health management techniques utilizing IT, which is digital assistant(tablet PC, PDA, etc.), RFID/USN/ICT, database systems, and etc. In this study, we developed and evaluated a worker's safety sensing apparatus using smart phone. The apparatus may be useful to prevent accidents in the construction industry as well as confined space work.
As the untact culture spreads, the digital divide, which is a problem of access to digital information for the vulnerable, can appear as information inequality in various fields, including the social and cultural field. This study identified the digital divide level for the vulnerable population and analyzed the effects of information accessibility, demographic and social characteristics, and physical and mental health characteristics on the information level. As a result, the higher the accessibility of information, the smaller the digital divide and the greater the digital utilization, so it is necessary to increase the accessibility of information devices and increase the ability to utilize them. In addition, the higher the age, the more women than men, and the lower the income level, the greater the digital divide, so it is necessary to increase digital capabilities through detailed class-specific programs for the vulnerable. Finally, it was found that the digital divide and the level of digital literacy had a significant effect on the life satisfaction and daily life satisfaction of the vulnerable. The expansion of competency-building education programs to enhance information utilization capabilities by changing the paradigm to a digital inclusion policy should be continuously operated.
