  • In this paper, we investigate the existence of solutions of second order impulsive neutral functional differential inclusions which the nonlinearity F admits convex and non-convex values. Some results under weaker conditions are presented. Our results extend previous ones. The methods rely on a fixed point theorem for condensing multivalued maps and Schaefer's fixed point theorem combined with lower semi-continuous multivalued operators with decomposable values.

  • In this paper, we investigate necessary and sufficient conditions for the approximate controllability for semilinear stochastic functional differential equations with delays in Hilbert spaces without the strict range condition on the controller even though the equations contain unbounded principal operators, delay terms and local Lipschitz continuity of the nonlinear term.

  • In [2], we have shown that the optimal boundary controls for hyperbolic systems in L$^{2}$-spaces can be attained in a feedback form via Riccati operators. A number of authors [1, 5, 7 and 10] have investigated approximations of Riccati operators arising in distributed parameter systems. They assumed bounded controls for parabolic systems. However, we in this paper study Galerkin approximations of Riccati operators and feedback controls for hyperbolic systems with unbounded control actions. Let us briefly introduce some results of [2]. Let .ohm. be an open bounded region in R$^{n}$ with smooth boundary .GAMMA. where n is a fixed positive integer. We consider a strictly hyperbolic differential operator H(x) of order 1 on .ohm. with noncharacteristic boundary on .GAMMA.

  • In this paper we consider the orthogonal polynomials with weights ${\omega}_{\alpha}(x)=x^{\alpha}{\exp}(-x^3+tx)$ and $W_{\alpha}(x)={\mid}x{\mid}^{2{\alpha}+1}{\exp}(-x^6+tx^2)$. Using the compatibility conditions for the ladder operators for these orthogonal polynomials, we derive several difference equations satisfied by the recurrence coefficients of these orthogonal polynomials. We also derive differential-difference equations and second order linear ordinary differential equations satisfied by these orthogonal polynomials.

  • In this study, the author provided a discussion on one dimensional Laplace and Fourier transforms with their applications. It is shown that the combined use of exponential operators and integral transforms provides a powerful tool to solve space fractional partial differential equation with non - constant coefficients. The object of the present article is to extend the application of the joint Fourier - Laplace transform to derive an analytical solution for a variety of time fractional non - homogeneous KdV. Numerous exercises and examples presented throughout the paper.

  • In the present paper, we study translation hypersurfaces in E4. In this context, firstly we obtain first, second and third Laplace-Beltrami (LBI, LBII and LBIII) operators of the translation hypersurfaces in E4. By solving second and third order nonlinear ordinary differential equations, we prove theorems that contain LBI-minimal, LBII-minimal and LBIII-minimal translation hypersurfaces in E4.

  • The nth-order, scalar, linear time-varying (LTV) systems can be dealt with operators on a differential ring. Using this differential algebraic structure and a classical result on differential operator factorizaitons developed by Floquet, a novel eigenstructure(eigenvalues, eigenvectors) concepts for linear time0varying systems are proposed. In this paper, Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of well-defined(free of finite-time singularities) SD- and PD- spectra for SPDOs with complex- and real-valued coefficients are also presented. Three numerical examples are presented to illustrate the proposed concepts.

  • We give certain properties of elements in a coset group with hypercomplex numbers and research a monogenic function and a Clifford regular function with values in a coset group by defining differential operators. We give properties of those functions and a power of elements in a coset group with hypercomplex numbers.
