ON THE LINEAR EQUIVALENCE OF SEQUENCES IN HILBERT SPACES

  • A similarity transformation of a solution of the Cauchy problem for the linear difference equation in Hilbert space has been studied. In this manuscript, we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for linear equivalence of the discrete semigroup of operators, generated by the solution of the difference equation utilizing four Canonical semigroups.

자침시(刺鍼時) 탄침(彈鍼)의 수기자극(手技刺戟)이 전위변화(電位變化)에 미치는 영향(影響) (A Study on the changes of electric change induced by Tanchim (彈鍼) manipulation during acupuncture therapy)

  • Objectives : To understanding biological mechanism of acupuncture therapy, we have proposed a hypothesis. First of all, there exists electric property in meridian and meridian point. Second of all, energy flowing in meridian is related with electric property. Third of all, there is electronic interaction between the operator who performs acupuncture therapy and the receiver who is given acupuncture therapy. Forth of all, acupuncture effects may depend on the electric capacity which is transferred between the operator and the receiver via acupuncture needle. Methods : Under the hypothesis, we studied the effects of electric change in $ST_{37}(+)\;and\;ST_{39}(-)$ generated by Tanchim (彈鍼) manipulation which was stimulated at $ST_{36}$ point. And compared with data on the changes of electric change from the hand of the operator during acupuncture stimulation. Electric charge induced via acupuncture needle from the operator may be important factor that causes the changes of electric change in meridian and acupoint in the receiver. Therefore we investigated the changes of electric charge induced by the operator using Maclab 400 by the following methods. The one was in stable electric circle condition and the other was in unstable electric circle condition. Results : In this experiments, the changes of electric change from the stimulation type of Tanchim manipulation performed in our lab condition in acupuncture therapy was induced at least three factor, one was the difference of bio-potentials between the operator and the receiver of acupuncture therapy, another was the depth of acupuncture insertion from the skin of the receiver, the other was an electromyogram of the receiver. Conclusion : The data imply that the first factor should make a capacitance current when the operator touched the acupuncture needle which was inserted in the receiver. Therefore, the results suggest that capacitance currents stimulus in electronic view may be important factor in acupuncture therapy between the operator and the receiver of acupuncture therapy.

식품접객업소에서 판매되는 더치커피의 미생물 오염도 조사 (Investigation of Microbial Contamination of Dutch Coffee Sold at Food Service Business Operator)

  • 본 연구에서는 식품접객업소에서 시중 판매되는 더치커피의 미생물 오염도를 조사하여 유형에 따른 차이를 살펴 보고자 하였다. 경기도 내 커피전문점에서 유통되는 더치커피 70건을 대상으로 위생지표균, 식중독균, 진균류 오염도를 조사하였으며 추출방법에 따른 일반세균과 진균류의 오염도를 비교하였다. 일반세균수는 0.74-6.21 log CFU/mL 범위로 검출되었으며 식품 유형에 따른 평균 검출량은 식품접객업소 조리식품(3.04 log CFU/mL)이 액상커피(2.08 log CFU/mL)보다 높게 나타났다. 액상커피는 검출된 6건 중 3건이 세균수 기준을 초과하여 부적합이었다. 식중독 원인균은 70건 모두 불검출이었다. 진균수는 0.70-4.00 log CFU/mL 범위로 검출되었으며 식품유형에 따른 차이는 없었다. 추출방법에 따른 미생물 오염도는 원두 혼합 여부와 추출 시간에 따라 비교하였으며, 일반세균수와 진균수 모두 유의적인 차이는 없었다(P>0.05). 시중 유통되는 더치커피는 일반세균과 진균류에 대한 오염도가 높으므로 위생적인 관리와 적절한 온도 유지를 통해 미생물 오염을 줄이는 것이 중요하며 안전성 확보를 위해 지속적인 모니터링이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

FRACTIONAL CHEBYSHEV FINITE DIFFERENCE METHOD FOR SOLVING THE FRACTIONAL BVPS

  • In this paper, we introduce a new numerical technique which we call fractional Chebyshev finite difference method (FChFD). The algorithm is based on a combination of the useful properties of Chebyshev polynomials approximation and finite difference method. We tested this technique to solve numerically fractional BVPs. The proposed technique is based on using matrix operator expressions which applies to the differential terms. The operational matrix method is derived in our approach in order to approximate the fractional derivatives. This operational matrix method can be regarded as a non-uniform finite difference scheme. The error bound for the fractional derivatives is introduced. The fractional derivatives are presented in terms of Caputo sense. The application of the method to fractional BVPs leads to algebraic systems which can be solved by an appropriate method. Several numerical examples are provided to confirm the accuracy and the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • In the present paper we introduce and study Euler sequence spaces of fractional difference and backward difference operators. We make an effort to prove that these spaces are BK-spaces and linearly isomorphic. Further, Schauder basis for Euler fractional difference sequence spaces $e^{\varsigma}_{0,p}({\Delta}^{(\tilde{\beta})},\;{\nabla}^m)$ and $e^{\varsigma}_{c,p}({\Delta}^{(\tilde{\beta})},\;{\nabla}^m)$ are also elaborate. In addition to this, we determine the 𝛼-, 𝛽- and 𝛾- duals of these spaces.

Numerical simulation of single-phase two-components flow in naturally fractured oil reservoirs

  • The main goal of this work is to develop a numerical simulator to study an isothermal single-phase two-component flow in a naturally fractured oil reservoir, taking into account advection and diffusion effects. We use the Peng-Robinson equation of state with a volume translation to evaluate the properties of the components, and the discretization of the governing partial differential equations is carried out using the Finite Difference Method, along with implicit and first-order upwind schemes. This process leads to a coupled non-linear algebraic system for the unknowns pressure and molar fractions. After a linearization and the use of an operator splitting, the Conjugate Gradient and Bi-conjugated Gradient Stabilized methods are then used to solve two algebraic subsystems, one for the pressure and another for the molar fraction. We studied the effects of fractures in both the flow field and mass transport, as well as in computing time, and the results show that the fractures affect, as expected, the flow creating a thin preferential path for the mass transport.

Improved Melody Recognition Performance of a Cochlear Implant Speech Processing Strategy Using Instantaneous Frequency Encoding Based on Teager Energy Operator

  • We present a speech processing strategy incorporating instantaneous frequency (IF) encoding for the enhancement of melody recognition performance of cochlear implants. For the IF extraction from incoming sound, we propose the use of a Teager energy operator (TEO), which is advantageous for its lower computational load. From time-frequency analysis, we verified that the TEO-based method provides proper IF encoding of input sound, which is crucial for melody recognition. Similar benefit could be obtained also from the use of a Hilbert transform (HT), but much higher computational cost was required. The melody recognition performance of the proposed speech processing strategy was compared with those of a conventional strategy using envelope extraction, and the HT-based IF encoding. Hearing tests on normal subjects were performed using acoustic simulation and a musical contour identification task. Insignificant difference in melody recognition performance was observed between the TEO-based and HT-based IF encodings, and both were superior to the conventional strategy. However, the TEO-based strategy was advantageous considering that it was approximately 35% faster than the HT-based strategy.

  • 본 논문에서는 저품질 이미지에 적용된 미디언 필터링를 검출하는 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 이러한 미디언 필터링검출은 이미지 포렌식 기법에 사용되고 있는 것으로 제안된 방법에서는 원본 이미지와 미디언 필터링된 이미지를 구분하기 위하여 공간 영역에서 통계적 특징 정보를 추출하고 확장시킨다. 확장된 특징 정보는 마르코프 모델을 사용하고 강인한 특징 집합을 생성하기 위하여 다중 방향 배열을 사용한다. 제안된 방법에서는 검출 정확도를 높이기 위하여 텍스처 연산자를 사용하고 SVM 분류기를 통하여 분류 모델을 훈련시킨다. 실험 결과에서는 JPEG 압축을 사용한 저품질 이미지에서 제안한 방법의 우수함을 보인다.

차 연산과 ART2 알고리즘을 이용한 차량 번호판 통합 인식 (Recognition of Car License Plates Using Difference Operator and ART2 Algorithm)

  • 본 논문에서는 형태학적 특징 및 차 연산과 ART2 알고리즘을 이용한 차량 번호판 인식 방법을 제안하였다. 무인 카메라에서 획득된 차량 번호판 영상에서 차 연산을 이용하여 에지를 추출한 후에 블록 이진화한다. 이진화된 차량 영상에서 신 구 차량 번호판의 형태학적 특성을 8방향 윤곽선 추적 알고리즘에 적용하여 잡음 영역을 제거하고, 차량의 번호판 영역을 추출한다. 추출된 번호판 영역에 대하여 평균 이진화와 최대 최소 이진화를 적용하여 번호판의 개별 영역에 대한 형태학적 특성을 고려하여 잡음을 제거하고, Labeling 알고리즘을 적용하여 개별 문자를 추출한 후에 결합한다. 이렇게 추출되어 결합된 개별 문자 및 숫자 코드들은 ART2 알고리즘에 적용하여 학습 및 인식된다. 제안된 차량 번호판 추출 및 인식 방법의 성능을 평가하기 위해 녹색 번호판과 흰색 번호판 이미지 각각 100장을 대상으로 실험한 결과, 제안된 차량 번호판 추출 및 인식기법이 효율적임을 확인하였다.
