  • This study aims to analyze a harmonious approach between trade norms for the protection of human rights and the WTO agreements is increasingly necessary and important. conflicts and harmonization that may occur between major human rights protection trade norms and WTO agreements were comprehensively reviewed. The hard legalization of corporate social responsibility for sustainable development, such as human rights protection, was in conflict with the WTO Agreement, which was based on the principle of non-discrimination. As the currently expanding human rights protection trade norms reflect differences in the positions of developed and developing countries, it was also pointed out that there may be disputes over WTO compatibility and distorted protectionism measures. Accordingly, the applicability of the general exceptions to Article 20 of the GATT were reviewed together, and Article 20(a) of GATT, "necessary to protect public morals" may differ between developed and developing countries, and thus limitations were also considered. At the same time, When it is necessary to take regulatory measures such as prohibition of imports from a specific country for human rights protection, it was reviewed and proposed domestic trade norms revision.

  • This study applied the value of floor-area-ratio standard calculation method to case areas and analyzed them to overcome the limits of previous studies in calculation methods for area standards and land price (value) standard development rights. The results are presented as follows: First, criteria to select sending areas and receiving areas are needed. Second, calculation methods based on the value of floor-area-ratio standard can be widely used as standardized criteria in various areas. Third, for the connection of sending areas with receiving areas, the connections of 1:1, n:1, 1:n, and n:n are available and the location of possible dealing areas should be considered. Also, the choice of connecting unions that meet the purpose of TDR presented by local governments is available. Fourth, for Gwangju, as receiving areas downtown provide higher profits than previous renewal projects, the application of TDR is available. Application methods to overcome problems are presented as follows: First, criteria to select sending and receiving areas should be prepared and implemented in an order of priority. Second, in calculating development rights, methods based on the value of floor-area-ratio standard should be used. Third, the standards and principles of sending and receiving areas should be designated and possible dealing areas should not be limited.

  • The use of the Internet has become commonplace for billions of people on the planet. The rapid development of technology, in particular, mobile gadgets, has provided access to communication anywhere, anytime. At the same time, there are growing concerns about the behavior of people on the Internet, in particular, towards each other and social groups in general. This raises the issue of human rights in today's information society. In this study, we focused on human rights such as the right to privacy, confidentiality, freedom of expression, the right to be forgotten, etc. We point to some differences in this regard, in particular between the EU, etc. In addition, we describe the latest legal regulation in this aspect in European countries. Such methods as systemic, factual, formal and legal, to show the factors of formation and development of human rights in the context of digitalization were used. The authors indicate which of them deserve the most attention due to their prevalence and relevance. Thus, we concluded that the technological development of social communications has laid the groundwork for a legal settlement of privacy and opinion issues on the Internet. Simultaneously, jurisdictions address issues on every aspect of human rights on the Internet, based on previous norms, case law, and principles of law. It is concluded that human rights legislation on the Internet will continue to be actively developed to ensure a balance of private and public interests, safe online access and unimpeded access to it.
