  • This study developed practical computer program COL2 to design of generic shape reinforced concrete short columns subjected to combined compression and biaxial bending. The program COL2 has been developed for user-friendly environment using Excel 97 for windows 95. Several examples including for analysis of geometrically complex column sections subjected biaxial bending are included in this paper.

  • We developed a low cost digital X-Ray image capturing system using a CCD camera, instead of using the high cost image plate and image intensifier. In order to reduce the system volume, we directly made the dark box shorter than the previous model. Using the graphic language, we developed a program in order for post-processing the images captured by the CCD camera. This program improves the image resolving power.

  • This paper proposes a management system for the educational program of production managers on the basis of value co-creation by the learner and the instructor. The program combines an intelligent knowledge-based approach with the kaizen activity program. The program helps individuals acquire knowledge and skills to ensure the total rather than the partial optimization of processes and operations facilitating continuous improvement in the workplace. To achieve these goals, the program uses models of a learning process and a swing of enlightenment. In addition, the program is supported by a framework of academic, business people, consultants, and government officers. The program was developed using an instructional design approach. This paper discusses the process of developing and managing the educational program between 2006 and 2012 as well as the results obtained.

Website를 이용한 환자안전문화 증진 프로그램의 개발 (Development of Website-based Patient Safety Culture Promotion Program)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a website-based patient safety culture promotion program that could be implemented by nurses in real work scenarios. Methods: This study was a methodological study. A patient safety culture promotion program, called 'Safe Culture, Save Patients' was developed, based on structuration theory and performance engineering approaches. Results: This program was delivered in the form of a website containing contents about changes in the work environment, information about accidents and the improvement process details, as well as a program for motivation. The program was tested about the validity on contents and usability - a panel of 14 experts confirmed its validity using the contents validity index (CVI), with a resulting S-CVI of .980. Usability was evaluated by 11 nurses, which allowed finalize the program. Conclusion: The 'Safe Culture, Save Patients' program was a valid program that could be applied in clinical practice immediately. The results of this study warrant further studies to evaluate the effects of this patient safety culture promotion program.

  • The objectives of this study are to develope the automatic design programs to offer the data when constructing a small scale vinyl-house by region. This program consists of four subroutines. The first is an automatic greenhouse modeling program, the second is a calculating design load program by region, the third is a structural analysis program and the last is a optimum shape design program. The structural analysis can be conducted by simple date input and considering the design load of the install regions into account. The shape of input data is very simple, and the program reflects the design load by region. The output data can be obtained from the automatical calculation processing after structural analysis. The program was verified by compared with outputs of a common use structural analysis program and the results are the same. It was concluded that the developed program could be used efficiently in optimum design of small scale vinyl house.

제주도의 지역 환경 자원을 활용한 초등학교 고학년용 체험교육 프로그램 개발 (The Development of Experience Education Program for Elementary Upper Grades using Local Environmental Resources of Jeju Island)

  • The purpose of this study was to develope experience-education program for elementary students which use environmental resources and learning sources of Jeju island. This study designed developing framework of environmental education program for using local resources and developed experience-education program on the basis of it. Especially this program consisted of direct experience, indirect experience, and local community learning. This program consisted of five activities -'Jeju's water', 'Mecca of wind power', 'Rushing jellyfish', 'Ramsar wetland', and 'Searching the fossil'. Each activity themes was to use environmental resources of Jeju island. And this program had relationship with science, social studies, and ethics in the curriculum. The result of this study will serve to activate environmental education program for using local resources if we solve program's problem through application process.

교육과정 평가를 통한 가족기업 교육프로그램 개발 (The Development of Family Business Education Program through the Evaluation of Curricula)

  • The purpose of this study is to assert the necessity of family business education and suggest the family business education program. For this purpose, curricula of entrepreneurship program, family business program in business school and of extension center of college of human ecology are compared. Two programs in the former are on the basis of management curriculum. But family business program in business school focuses the system and characteristics of family business and is short term program compared with the entrepreneurship program emphasizes the new venture and is well-developed. And family business program in college of human ecology is not differentiated from that in business school. Through these analysis, this study suggests the program which considers the importance of the family function as well as the business function in family business. So, family business program contains following three courses; family resource management, business management and entrepreneur process.

자율주행자동차를 주제로 한 역공학 기반 STEAM 프로그램 개발 (The Development of STEAM Program based on Reverse Engineering on the Subject of Autonomous Vehicle)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 역공학을 기반으로 한 STEAM 교육 프로그램을 자율 주행 자동차를 주제로 개발하는 것이다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 역공학을 기반으로 한 STEAM 프로그램을 5단계를 거쳐 개발하였다. 자율 주행 자동차를 주제로 분석, 설계, 개발, 실행, 평가 단계로 개발하였다. 먼저 분석 단계에서 역공학을 기반으로 하는 STEAM 교육의 정의, 목표, 내용 영역 및 교수 및 학습 방법을 선정하였다. 또한 세부 목표와 내용 영역을 추출했다. 두번째, 설계 단계에서 전문가와의 협의를 거쳐 주제를 선정하고, 2015 개정 교육 과정과 STEAM 교육 과정의 연계성을 바탕으로 교육 목표와 학습 내용을 선정하고 정리하였다. 다음으로 개발 단계에서는 교사용 교수학습 지도서와 학생 교과서를 개발하고, 서울 소재 OO중학교 2학년 71명에게 예비 적용한 후 수정 보완하였다. 실행 단계에서는 충청남도에 위치한 OO중학교 학생 120명을 대상으로 교육 프로그램을 적용하고 효과성 분석을 위한 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 마지막으로 평가 단계에서 실시한 프로그램을 토대로 교사 및 학생 대상으로 평가가 이루어졌으며 그 결과에 따라 수정하고 보완하였다.

'튼튼하고 안전한 다리 설계' 문제중심학습(PBL) 프로그램이 고등학교 과학영재의 과학적 태도, 과학 진로지향도 및 리더십에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of a Problem-Based Learning Program Titled 'Designing Safe and Strong Bridge' on the Scientific Attitudes, Science Career Orientation, and Leadership of Scientifically Gifted High School Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 '튼튼하고 안전한 다리 설계' 문제중심학습(Problem-Based Learning; PBL) 프로그램이 고등학교 과학영재들의 과학적 태도, 과학 진로지향도 및 리더십에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 알아보는 것이다. 연구 참여자는 3단계의 영재선발 과정을 통해 선발된 경기도 소재 C고등학교 부설 영재학급의 고등학교 2학년 19명이다. PBL 프로그램을 개발하고 14차시에 걸쳐 적용하기 전과 후에 과학적 태도, 과학 진로지향도, 리더십에 대한 검사를 실시하였고, 사후에는 추가로 프로그램에 대한 소감문을 작성하도록 하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, PBL 프로그램을 적용한 후 고등학교 과학영재의 과학적 태도가 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었다. 7개 하위영역중 개방성을 제외한 6가지 영역 모두 유의미하게 향상되었다. 둘째, PBL 프로그램을 적용한 후 고등학교 과학영재의 과학 진로지향도가 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었다. 과학 진로지향도 4개 하위영역 모두에서 유의미하게 향상되었다. 셋째, PBL 프로그램을 적용한 후 고등학교 과학영재의 리더십 전체 점수가 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었다. 리더십의 1차 요인인 개인 내 특성과 개인 외 특성에서도 모두 유의미하게 향상되었다. 학생들의 사후 소감문을 분석한 결과 소그룹으로 PBL 문제해결과정에서 대인관계능력, 타인과 공동체 배려, 과제 책임감, 비전과 자신감 등 2차 요인 전 영역이 고르게 향상되었음을 확인할 수 있었다.

환경교육 교수.학습 능력 함양을 위한 교수연수의 실시 및 평가 연구 (Implementation and Evaluation of In-Service Teacher Training Program for Teaching-Learning in Environmental Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an in-service teacher training program for professional development in environmental education. In order to achieve the goal, the in- service teacher training program for professional development in environmental education development / implement team is formed to deal with the development and the implementation of the program. The team is composed of environmental education professionals and environmental education teachers. After the development of the program, 20 teachers were selected to implement the program. Then, through various researches such as interview, monitoring, and survey, the evaluation of the program was done. After the evaluation, the feedback on the program was collected in order to apply the final adjustments and changes to the developed training program for professional development in environmental education. The training program is designed to include the wide range of theories and real life cases. It focuses on certain topic, and is implemented through workshop type training method to increase the participation rate. The major motive of the participants was to develop their professionality in environmental education. Based on the analysis of the training program and the workshop, 69.1% of the program is focused on the environmental education/learning theory, and 71.4% is focused on the environmental education teaching method. The environmental education teaching method is focused on the real life teaching method that could be used in many schools. However, the parts on environmental education philosophy, psychology, and evaluation was not included as a part of the program. Also, the evaluation method of the students learning the environmental education was not introduced as a part of the program as well. It is due to the limited time frame of the training program, as well as its focus on the training method of environmental program. Based on the analysis of the evaluation results obtained through monitoring, the training program for professional development in environmental education is successful in terms of focusing the goal of the program around the environmental education/learning theory and environmental education teaching method, which was the motive of the participants. However, the effectiveness of the program differed from participants to participants based on their majors in environmental education, and it did not last long enough. The future training program for professional development in environmental education should consider the backgrounds of the program participants to have various programs prepared for various groups of people. We suggest that the results of this developed program will be applied to "environmental education teacher licence training" in the future.
