  • In this paper, an $\mathfrak{H}$_/$\mathfrak{H}_{\infty}$ fault detection and isolation (FDI) observer design problem is investigated for discrete-time delayed systems. To that end, a bank consisting of the sensor's number of observers is introduced. Each residual should be sensitive to a certain partial group of faults, but robust against the disturbance as far as possible. We formulate this multiobjective FDI problem as $\mathfrak{H}$_/$\mathfrak{H}_{\infty}$ observers design problem. Sufficient design condition is expressed as iterative linear matrix inequalities. The fault is then detected and isolated by evaluating the residuals through an FDI decision logic. A computer simulation is provided for verification of the proposed technique.

  • The stability robustness problem of linear discrete systems with time-varying unstructured uncertainty of delayed states with time-varying delay time is considered. The proposed conditions for stability can be used for finding allowable bounds of timevarying uncertainty and delay time, which are solved by using LMI (Linear Matrix Inequality) and GEVP (Generalized Eigenvalue Problem) known as powerful computational methods. Furthermore, the conditions can imply the several previous results on the uncertainty bounds of time-invariant delayed states. Numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

  • 교통의 연동시스템은 이웃한 교차로의 교통상황을 입력받아 해당 교차로 신호처리시 고려하는 시스템이다. 이웃 교차로의 통과차량수, 대기차량수,녹색신호등 주기 등을 감안하여 해당 교차로의 녹색신호등의 주기를 결정하는 형태이다. 해당교차로의 녹색신호등을 고려할 때는 자기 자신의 센서 입력들만 고려해서는 안되고 이웃 교차로의 센서 입력들을 받아 들여야 한다. 이러한 센서 노드들의 데이터 수집을 위해서 위험과 한계가 있는 곳에 센서 노드를 배치하여 데이터 수집을 하는 경향을 감안하여 사람이 인접할수 없는 곳이나 환경이 척박한곳에 센서들을 배치하여 센서들을 통한 정보 획득, 무선 네트워크를 통한 통신, 초저전력 소모를 실현할 수 있다.

Discretization of Nonlinear Systems with Delayed Multi-Input VIa Taylor Series and Scaling and Squaring Technique

  • An input time delay always exists in practical systems. Analysis of the delay phenomenon in a continuous-time domain is sophisticated. It is appropriate to obtain its corresponding discrete-time model for implementation via digital computers. In this paper a new scheme for the discretization of nonlinear systems using Taylor series expansion and the zero-order hold assumption is proposed. The mathematical structure of the new discretization method is analyzed. On the basis of this structure the sampled-data representation of nonlinear systems with time-delayed multi-input is presented. The delayed multi-input general equation has been derived. In particular, the effect of the time-discretization method on key properties of nonlinear control systems, such as equilibrium properties and asymptotic stability, is examined. Additionally, hybrid discretization schemes that result from a combination of the scaling and squaring technique (SST) with the Taylor series expansion are also proposed, especially under conditions of very low sampling rates. Practical issues associated with the selection of the method's parameters to meet CPU time and accuracy requirements, are examined as well. A performance of the proposed method is evaluated using a nonlinear system with time delay maneuvering an automobile.

  • Significant penetration of induction motor loads into residential neighborhood and commercial regions of local transmission systems at least partially determine a vulnerability to a fault induced delayed voltage recovery (FIDVR) event. Highly concentrated induction motor loads with constant torque could stall in response to low voltages associated with system faults. FIDVR is caused by wide spread stalling of small HVAC units (residential air conditioner) during transmission level faults. An under voltage load shedding scheme (UVLS) can be an effective component in a strategy to manage FIDVR risk and limit the any potential disturbance. Under Voltage Load Shedding take advantage of the plan to recovery the voltage of the system by shedding the load ways to alleviation FIDVR.

  • The Korean military has sought to build an all-round military force against the national and international security environment and future asymmetric threats as well as the military threats it faces. However, while raising the need for timely electrification, there are few cases of quantitatively evaluating the loss when electrification is delayed, making it difficult for our military to provide a logical basis to support the importance of the electrification period. Therefore, through this study, we tried to analyze the index of loss cost that can support the need for timely electrification with logical and quantitative data and present it as a logical basis. To this end, the loss cost was calculated in terms of combat efficiency, equipment utilization rate, and maintenance requirements, which can be quantitatively calculated based on "combat readiness," a general impact on the military in case of delayed timely electrification.

  • In this paper, we propose a non-fragile guaranteed cost controller design method for uncertain linear systems with constant delyas in state. The norm bounded and time-varying uncertainties are subjected to system and controller design matrices. A quadratic cost function is considered as the performance measure for the system. Based on the Lyapunov method, an LMI(Linear Matrix Inequality) optimization problem is established to design the controller which uses information of delayed state and minimizes the upper bound of the quadratic cost function for all admissible system uncertainties and controller gain variations. Numerical examples show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • 본 논문에서는 동작점에서 근사적인 선형화를 할수 없는 심한 비선형성을 갖는 시스템에 대하여 추종 및 외란제거 제어기의 설계방법을 제안한다. 제어기 합성에는 관측가능한 양만이 사용된다. 추종성과 외란의 제거가 가능하도록 시스템의 출력단에 보상기를 추가하여 비선형성을 제외한 전체 시스템에 시간지연 출력궤환제어를 사용하며, 기술함수방법을 사용하여 출력이 정격내의 값이 되도록 궤환매개변수를 선택하여 비선형성의 난점을 극복한다.

  • In this paper, a robust controller of state delayed systems is presented. The suggested controller stabilizes the closed loop system independently of the delay time. It is shown that the controller reduces the effect of disturbances on the output of the given system to a pre-specified level. The proposed controller will stabilize the closed loop system in the presence of plant perturbations whose size are less than a pre-specified value.

지연성근육통 중재 후 통증의 변화가 뇌파와 자율신경계에 미치는 융합적 분석 (Convergence analysis of pain changes on brain wave and autonomic nervous system after intervention for delayed onset muscle soreness)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 지연성근육통의 통증 변화가 자율신경계와 뇌파에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 지연성 근육통이 유발된 28명을 대조군(n=14)과 실험군(경피신경자극과 키네시오테이핑 적용, n=14)으로 구분하였다. 중재는 지연성근육통 유발 1일 후부터 5일 동안 실시하였다. 평가는 VAS(visual analog scale), 심박변이, 뇌파를 사용하여 지연성근육통 유발 전, 유발 24시간 후, 5일 치료 후, 치료 중단 3일 후에 측정하였다. 실험 결과 지연성근육통이 발생하면 교감신경계의 활성 증가 또는 부교감신경계 활성 억제가 되며, 중재로 인한 통증 감소는 반대의 활동이 나타났다. 통증 발생 시 alpha파의 감소가 나타났으나 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구 결과 통증 변화는 자율신경계와 뇌파에 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었으며, 이러한 결과는 통증 관리와 치료 전략 개발 및 연구에 도움이 될 것이다.
